Maru came into the stadium, he was ‘wearing’ a new body at this time as he came into the due to all the mayhem he's caused around tea he had to keep a low profile. Shortly after the Akkuma’s fight, Maru had looted the neighboring city, burnt down a building, kidnapped some girl for an extreme game of tag, terrorized some civilians, destroyed more property, fought the hokage, oh and pulled some kitsune’s ears. As you can see he would probably be public enemy number one despite his crimes being pretty petty, not to mention they were looking for a person with demonic abilities. In that fight with the hokage, Maru lost (YES HE LOST) his demonic ancestry! He was no longer cursed, the hokage at the end of the battle performed some kind of justu to try to make him holy! Luckily for him, he was so tainted that the darkness ended up balancing with the holy chakra. Constantly fighting for control in a endless struggle against good and evil.Although, he couldn't no longer claim to be the demon he was he still supported Akkuma for the darkness he had. Honestly he's pretty much a awesome role model, probably close to someone he got along with. Maru sat among the crowd so hr could watch the demon of the hidden mist and his opponent come out. The crowd pretty much roared, and Maru smirked hoping that he would prove again that darkness will prevail! “Common! Akkuma! Don't let me down.” Maru sat up, waving a hand towards Akkuma not sure if he could hear him. He probably don't recognize him but he still had the kunai he threw at him. Speaking in which he wondered if he'll see that lady again.
