Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kino had spent a lot of time either around others, around Nagari, or on mission as of late. He decided that it was time to spend some of this Yen he had earned on himself. The first thing that came to mind was that hot springs he had heard so much about, it sounded like the perfect place to get some much needed rest and relaxation. He made his way to the White Oak Street hot springs and was happy enough to fork over any amount of coin to go soak for a little while. He'd never been to this sort of place, but he desperately needed that peaceful time to himself given his last few weeks.

He sank into the hot water, up to his shoulders, letting the warmth and salt finally allow his muscles their well deserved break. It had been a long time since he had done something just for himself, even longer still since he could actually feel the tension release off his shoulders and neck. He carried a lot of stress and burden for someone his age, and this was exactly the kind of place to let that all go. He didn't mind the other day, when he had been laughing with Ayeka and Miyako, but this was a genuine relaxation that was different. He didn't have to keep his walls up, or put on a face, he could just be himself and enjoy the space around him.

He began to hum to himself a simple tune, truly just forgetting the troubles outside of here. What came next for him would be challenging certainly, but in this moment he was able to just put that all aside and be a kid for a minute. The water's warmth pulling all the pain from his muscles, the salts pulling it from his wounds, and the steam from his mind. This may very well be the first time Kino was able to just breath and not think.

After some time there, he would make his way to a truly great restaurant. He was going to keep this relaxation going if he could, and food sounded exactly correct. He found a place that was an open seating arrangement, a hot pot restaurant that was for socialization. While he had no one to go with, he figured it was a good way to produce a conversation with someone new or maybe he'd get lucky and someone he already knew would arrive. Either way, good food and conversation sounded great. He ordered several rounds of meats and noodles and began to enjoy this place to the fullest.
