Cracking his neck to the side Yukio's eyes narrowed towards the Sennin's companion though the thought had been to remove Ren from the equation it seemed things would not be that simple. Both were well trained and their teamwork was unquestionably refined if that was the case he would have to look at things from a different angle though such a thing would take time and how much of that he had was questionable. "Well things have certainly grown more interesting, though do not think that I have shown you everything i can do. How about I show you something interesting, something you may not be all too familiar with. If this is to be a day of surprises for both of us then let me give you the pleasure of seeing the fruits of my labors."

Throughout this bout the Hyuuga had taken risks, use techniques he was unfamiliar with but all that came second to what he had in mind as it wasn't a matter of thinking of each technique as the individual but looking at them as the whole , a lesson he was picking up faster and faster with the passage of time even now his mind wandered from jutsu to jutsu seeing how they linked and worked together to complete the goals he had in mind giving a slight nod as a wide smile came across his features a rather interesting thought coming to mind.

Kenshin healed Ren the only way he knew how by punching her full of light energy. As she healed herself, Yukio and Kuji were surrounded by water. As the slug seemed to heal himself Kenshin charged forward and hit the water dome. It was destoyed in two hits and Kenshin birst through the giant bubble to lay into Kuji. Still the slug healed his master and Yukio seemed to switch stances.

"Exciting! That trick wont work on me. I think it is now your turn to feel these fists Yukio." Kenshin said the steam around him coming out in droves. "You are tempting me to go all out against you! This is, however, as far as I am willing to go in a spar. Were you a true enemy, I could go one step further." Kenshin said fighting to keep from shouting. This was it. This was what combat was about. Fighting to push their limits!

The time for offence and the time for defense knowing the difference in timing was crucial and it seemed on this occasion Yukio had predicted correctly, that was half the battle figuring out how the opposition would strike and acting accordingly before making moves of your own always keeping a card up your sleeve with hopes to turn the tide as Yukio changed his stance. "I'm sorry I didn't show you this sooner Kenshin, I used to depend on it too much and hoped it wouldn't come down to using it here and now. But to hold it back from you would be a dishonor to your efforts here and as such I show you the pinnacle of the Hyuuga clan"

Taking a deep breath the green aura of his eyes narrowed becoming two bright thin streaks flowing with his every movements, breathing becoming sharp and precise. "Eight Trigrams Divination Seal, I don't intend to play around anymore let's see if i've learned from my past mistakes and timed this right." All thoughts of doubt were wiped from his mind in that moment it wasn't a matter of hoping things would go well but knowing they would. Confidence in his own choices would be the deciding factor here and now. "Kuji a top up if you would be so kind."

The slug didn't speak seeing the expression on the Captains face he was well aware of the situation the Hyuuga taking a long deep breath feeling strength return and though his friend was receiving a beating for these actions Yukio would be more than happy to return the favor clenching his fists as his gaze set on the Sennin.

Kenshin roared. It was time for a decisive move. Yukio promised his strongest technique and Kesnhin was going to return it in kind... but not at Yukio.

In a blur he was in front of the Slug. He made a few hand movements and the air around him started to twist and turn. It seemed to form a giant tiger head.

"Enough of your healing!" Kenshin shouted as he brought his fist forward and the tiger seemed to explode on Kuji.

Not done yet, Kenshin followed up with a punch the light energy around his hand swirling. The slug fell back knocked out. Qhick as a flash Kesnhin darted over to Yukio and threw 2 punches at him. One connected while the other went over Yukio's shoulder.

As he tried to take a step back, Yukio began to move and his own movement seemed to blur and he began to hit Kenshin and Ren.

"Not so fast!" Ren yelled as she saw the first punch approach her. As it came closer Yukio would feel a strong force of physical energy move his arm at the elbow and force his own punch upon himself. The rest of the attacks connected although Ren dodged the last attack by herself.

Kenshin backed up as did Ren.

"We had similar ideas Yukio but with vastly different outcomes! Still you hit pretty good for a user of the so called gentle fist!" Kenshin said spitting out some blood. "I look forward to see what else you can do!"

It would all happen in but a moment Yukio's focus on the world around him being narrowed to the two before him a deep exhale coming in it's wake concentration broken for a brief moment as Kuji cried out his hulking form coming crashing to the ground a few slight whimpers coming from him eyes swirls of confusion at being beaten up by this stranger he had never met. "Yukio....stranger man is....mean" Were the last words to come out of the slug before it passed out.

This was not something the Captain appreciated his friend now laying in the grass as the Hyuuga's fists were brought to his sides. "Well as annoying as he may be with that healing he's still my friend, time to return the favor. " Head tilted be Yukio's body leaned forward slightly the true form of Divination seal not being in defence but attack making swift movements towards both Kenshin and Ren each impact seeming to hit both simultaneously though for all it's prowess there were drawbacks to such techniques.

Once committed there was no going back feeling a force push his fist back impacting his own gut however this would not prevent the Hyuuga from seeing this through to the end head shifting back up to the two a fire in his eyes before stumbling back a moment later short of breath a sweat crawling down his temple. "Forgot how much this takes out of you, a nice reminder why i shouldn't do this all too often." hearing the Sennin's words he chuckled shaking his head slightly a wide grin spreading across his features.

"Very true quite the clash of fists there though do not let the name of the Hyuuga fighting Style fool you, we hit just as hard as any other though your style of combat hides nothing that much is true."

Kenshin closed his eyes. As the battle raged around him, he heard and felt Yukio attack him so he threw up a fire shield. As he did so, Kenshin began to weave handsigns. His gauntlets were crusted in diamonds and his body was covered in purple crystals. Ren started to heal herself nearby. Yukio attacked and it hurt. KEsnhin could feel himself getting weaker but he still had some fight left in him. After 10 seconds he would open his eyes and his chakra would flash out.

"Keep it coming Yukio!" Kenshin shouted as he shook the blood from his hands. It was a mixture of Kuji's, Yukio's and his own.

Yukio was still grinning the smile spread wide across his face until he burst into laughter "Do you feel it too Kenshin the blood rushing through your veins, makes you feel alive in a spar like this doesn't it." There was no lie in his words eyes shining with excitement adrenaline rushing through his veins swinging wildly towards the Sennin regardless of the actions of Kenshin. Feeling the flames searing his skin it was a familiar feeling taking him back a slight hint of hesitation in his eye a shudder across his skin, something seemed wrong in those moments but it was a fleeting notion.

Jumping back a deep exhale escaped him calming breaths feeling the energy drain from his body it was taking it's tole should there be a moment of hesitation then the Captain would fall that much was a certainty but there was no time to think about such things what mattered was the feeling of joy the thrill of fighting another expert in the arts of taijutsu.

The battle raged. Ren and Kenshin vs Yukio. He spun to defend himself and hit Kenshin causing him to cough up blood. He slammed his fist into Yukio and Ren let lose with a blast of invisible energy.

They stood there staring at each other. If Kenshin could just go all out. He was so close to that edge. Just one more gate and he would be free to truly fight.

He looked around. Ren was doing pretty well but Kuji still laid over there knocked out. Yukio was looking worse by the second and Kenshin could feel his consciousness on the edge of blacking out.

"This is enough. Stop. If we go any further one of us may be seriously hurt." Kenshin would say holding up his hands. "How about we say this is a draw?" Kenshin sasks as he undid his gates. The pain set in immediately as the adrenaline wore off. Kenshin immediately took a seat on the grass breathing heavily.

"Ren do you mind...." he started before he was met with a tiny gauntlet to the forehead Ren hitting him.

"You push yourself too much, ya know." Ren said her voice croaking. "You can wait. That big ole lug of a slug needs my attention first. YOU can sit there and feel pain for a little while longer. YOU" she Pointed at Yukio dramatically "Go over and sit with Kenshin. You can be in pain too while I heal up your summon. Greedy humans. Can't believe I put up with this." Ren began muttering as she walked over to Kuji. She would activate one of her strongest medical jutsu, called Resuscitate. As Kuji came to, Ren would point a webbed finger at him "Stay put. Let this jutsu heal you. THEN you can get up."

She would then hop over to Kenshin and presumably Yukio and begin healing their wounds by stopping the bleeding and dealing with the most dangerous of wounds. She worked in silence but she was glare at the both of them as she worked.

He could feel his body growing heavier by the second eyes giving him a clear view of the general state of the pair wiping the sweat from his brow before nodding slowly to Kenshin's suggestion slumping to the floor in that moment the Byakugan returning to it's previous state his focus snapping back to the world around him. "Agreed should we continue either one of us will be seriously wounded or both of us would be lying on our backs in this field then it's a gamble of who finds us first." He chuckled stretching his shoulders watching Ren heal Kuji.

The slug seemed pleased upon waking up though still somewhat confused by the whole thing his large head booping the frog lightly in the closest thing Kuji could get to a hug. "Frog is nice, Feeling much better now but nap required after that." With that he flopped back to the ground loud snores echoing from him power napping as if the whole thing had been a dream. "Whatever keeps him happy I guess, doesn't change no matter how much time passes if only we could all be so innocent."

Tilting his head back to Kenshin a brief nod came from the Hyuuga making a brief gesture to his side. "Seems not only have you given me some insight into the methods of Taijutsu combat it seems this has been quite the experience for those watching as well though only just noticed them just now safe to say there wasn't much time to take in the details of what was happening around us." Scratching the back of his head the Captain seemed rather embarrassed as to how focused he been on the whole thing.

"Though i thank you too Ren safe to say you've been working rather hard today for both of us and my good friend Kuji here."

Kenshin would laugh heartily a deep belly laugh.

"Already planning on what to improve! A true fighter if ever I met one! And I see that Shinzo all the way there. Good my Head Jounin should have learned a couple of things. I only activated 6 gates against him and knocked him out." Kenshin would say waving at the lot of them .

"Not a problem Yukio is it? You fought well. Put Kenshin through his paces." she said simply as she continued to work.

"You did! Never have I had such a fight that was purely a spar! It was truly a fight for the ages. Yukio we should do this again. Oh yes you aren't the only one thinking of how to improve. I dare say I think we are rivals! I haven't had one of those before. What say you, my friendly competition foe? The goal is to make each other stronger! Look at it this way, " Kenshin would smile the blood mostly gone from his mouth and nostrils. "If the village were attacked, if we caught the same opponent they would surely regret their decision. Of course I would deliver the finishing blow!"

Again Kenshin laughed. Ren just scowled but continued her healing.

"The younger generation still need their chance to learn it though sparring like this with nothing held back makes a man feel alive. The feeling you have to use everything you got just to keep up." He laughed wondering how things would have gone had they kept going though looking round the area and the mess they'd made it may have been a blessing that the two still had a bit of responsibility in them over the love of comabt.

"I would have to agree i feel should we keep sparring the only route forward from here is us gaining strength and experiance. Though maybe we should find a large open field next time i do somewhat feel sorry for the trees here." Stretching his shoulders back it was going to take a bit of time to recover though there was an oppertunity to be had here with both of them creating something of a show for all watching making a swift gesture before speaking once more.

"Speaking of youngsters how about we see if they learned anything from this while we have them here many as well take the oppertunity to test the mind after we've tested the body." To him it was a somewhat logical choice with everyone gathering to observe it was curiousity that drove him to wonder if they had simply watched without taking mental notes. After seeing a captain and Sennin clash Yukio hoped they would have seen an oppertunity to take notes and realise what they could do themselves to improve.

Kenshin laughed more as he felt his wounds heal completely. Ren gave both of them a look of exasperation and disappeared, her job done.

"True, True. Well since we are both healed we should both be heading out. I have my own duties to perform as do you. I look forward to our next match. I will be sure to test these students on proper fighting techniques. Kenshin would say as he looked at Yukio, getting up and holding out a hand hoping Yukio would shake it.

Kenshin would turn and leave. He had more paperwork to do and exams to grade and proctor.

Rising to his feet before cracking his neck to the side the Hyuuga nodded in agreement though the clash between the two had been something of a learning experience time would not allow them to enjoy the moment for long. Being a captain and Sennin such a thing was expected their duties to the village never truly done even in peaceful times like this. "Indeed the trainees need attending too and i must find out if any are ready to take the next step though i do hope we can do this again sometime."

Walking away as Kuji rose from his state of confusion the Captain brought a hand to his chin slowly pondering on each stage of the fight wondering what he could do differently in the future, what was his strong suits now compared to before and what did Yukio still lack to make himself stronger all questions that would need answering at some point at least in his mind.
