Ninpocho Chronicles
Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.
Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.
Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.
The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

The stick stopped midway through the second like and Yume straightened up and turned a dull eye to Mana. Her inhuman senses tingled something of negativity, as she felt that prick of watchfulness on the back of her neck seconds ago. She stared at the medical sennin, while the lady lamented on the earth's slow disease. Yume's eyes did not turn away when Mana turned to look back at her a second time. Her gaze did not break, not until Mana's did. Why was she looking at her, Yume asked herself, a slow brewing sense of suspicion and panic swirling around her the pit of her stomach. Did the medic figure her out for what she truly was?
Impossible... right? It's not like she had a way to check. Yume lowered her eyes to the ground and completed the second line she was working on, flicking some dirt jerkily off the ledge as she pondered in silence and ignored Kamaru's philosophical responses.
Stepping back and tossing the stick to the side, Yume simply stood before the ledge and looked over the village. The Yamaguchi Mansion was in this direction of the village. There were more maids, butlers and servants in that house than the family members itself to be honest. It was filthy, but if it wasn't Kami that discovered her sleeping body and claimed her as his precious pet, she wouldn't have this luxurious life in the mansion.
"Why not enjoy it while it lasts?" Yume murmured, her back to them. That was generally her way of life: just go as how the river flows. She cared not for people, nor mother nature herself. Her fist clenched by her side, until red seeped through the crevices as free as the river.

Her fist unclenched and the blood flow stopped. It left a crackling web of red over her palm, but a few good shakes and sleight of hand wiped the bloody image away. She blinked and looked back again at Mana who said she was needed elsewhere. What a strange prickling of her neck, she thought, briefly closing her eyes. She bid Mana plain goodbye and turned back around to face the edge of the cliff. She waited until Kamaru was standing beside her (if he didn't, her low wistful voice would be hard to hear anyway), before she spoke.
"Are you scared of heights?"
She only gave him half a second to answer, because then her hand had already found its way to his back to give him a good shove off the cliff. If he wasn't anywhere near her, that was alright. She'll jump first.

She arrived a little bit away from the housing district, like a rag doll. Indeed, she landed not on her feet like a normal would, but her side, like how a video game character lands after they get punched into the air. Yume looked quite unphased despite how painful it looked and how lifelessly she laid there on the ground. Her eyes opened, as if she was waking up for a new day and sat up with a stretch.
Picking herself up to her feet, she fished through the pockets of her army jacket for a specific key. She pulled it out and handed it to Kamaru. "Here's your apartment key. It's one of the units, I don't remember..." she trailed off distractedly and looked at the sky. She zoned out in silence for a few seconds and finally looked back to Kamaru with an equally distracted smile. "Expect a letter with your job... and bills. Within... three days or so. Don't ask how I already have your key. It's witchcraft."
She dusted off her uniform and straightened her posture as she faced the male. "Any other questions?"
