Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Keiji had been accompanying Kushin as they had delivered the statute, previously before entering the hospital Kushin had intended to do a checkup himself.

Keiji decided instead to first to take lunch, and waited a while. Then made his way to the hospital. He pulled a note with a number and waited. After a little while the nurse behind the counter shouted his name and lead him into a small check-up room.

Curious in and of itself to whom would be the Med-nin to check up on him.

Kushin had been checked up, he was fine. He knew he would be, they hadn't ended up engaging in conflict at all, though that was mainly due to being careful and good planning.

He'd encouraged Keiji to go have a checkup as well, and after he'd been finished with he'd gone to check to see if he had or not yet. Keiji's name wasn't on any of the forms so he wondered what was keeping him.

Walking back into a small general office he would wait, informing the trainee's working there to let him know should Keiji arrive. After only a few minutes passed did the boy arrive. Taking the papers he put on the white robes of a mednin and walked to the checkup station that Keiji had been placed in.

Hello there Keiji. He said, and for the very first time Keiji (and only Keiji) would see a smile on Kushin's face. The first time the character had smiled without malice in his duration on the site.

He took the chart and flicked through it, looking at what notes Keiji had placed on it.

I'll show you how to conduct a general checkup. he said, his face back to its usual unreadable expression.

Keiji nodded approval as Kushin entered, he nodded in approval when Kushin smiled, and he nodded in approval when proclaimed he would show him how to conduct a general checkup.

It would definitely help out in assisting future mission taking Shinobi and it will definitely help out in general abilities in assisting his fellow shinobi on the field.
Keiji leaned forward and listened with his interest peaked.

Okay, the first thing to do is check to see what area's they've specified. This gives you a good idea on where to look first and where the most likely issues could be. As you have nothing on yours there's no one area specifically to check. In which case what we need to do is look over some general locations.

Firstly the most likely place to suffer some small irritation will be feet and legs. Sometimes these are deemed unworthy of worrying about by a shinobi, but still we will check there and make sure that there aren't any line fractures which could without rest or treatment turn into something worse.
While he said that he felt around Keiji's heal, putting pressure on several points Let me know if you feel any pain or discomfort other than the feeling of someones fingers digging into your foot. His attempt at a joke.

After that was checked over he then moved to the knees Often the most likely places for injuries which go unmarked by a shinobi will be in the joints. This is because they're so used to running about, traveling vast distances and even if something did click out of place they might have 'run it off'. Though this is the way they should treat these issues when they're on the job, once they come in here they need it checked up on. If the kneecap moves too much perhaps a ligament has been torn. Sometimes swelling can begin occurring once they finally rest, and though I see none of that here we still check for redness and swelling.

After that he took Keiji's hands The number one asset of a shinobi is his hands. You might think it's your eyes, but there are blind shinobi, and not all of them are Hashigaki. Your hands decide if you can hold a weapon, if you can form handseals, these are your weapons, jutsu and weapons are tools. He again pressed on different parts of the hand As you get used to doing checkups you get used to knowing how things are meant to feel. Bruises may be invisible but will feel softer than they should, while swelling might not be enough to be showing but will feel firmer. Broken bones have give in them while unbroken don't.

He ended the hands.

Once you have those key locations sorted you'll need to ask for a swab. Kushin opened a drawer and pulled out a plastic ziplock bag and a stick with some cotton on it. Open your mouth. Once Keiji had opened his mouth Kushin swabbed one cheek, the back of his tongue and then the other cheek You swab both cheeks and the back of the tongue, then place it back in the bag. This will be sent to the lab to be checked for any diseases and such that you might have gained during your visit to wherever you came from.

Zipping up the bag he wrote some numbers which matched Keiji's passport number And for someone who has nothing wrong with them that's what we do.

Questions.

He listened closely, and with keen ears and eyes on what Kushin was attempting to teach him.
It was interesting to know the necessary pointers on general check-ups. He had imagine how the procedure were to be done, and he had only known what he had been told by Umashi, as well as the many books he had been reading.

He followed Kushin's every instructions as he explained the reasoning and the theories behind it.

He lifted his head slightly to look at the number Kushin wrote on the bag. And took mental note of the fact that it's the patients ID and not the bag ID or any other number that needed to be written on it. Well, naturally when actually considering it, it did in fact make some sense.

When Kushin asked for questions, Keiji jumped from the bed side where he had been sitting and stood up, he stretched his back and looked at Kushin with a smile. "Nope, none, I'm pretty sure i'll get a hang of it sooner or later."

He made his way to the door leading out, opened it, then turned and waved at him, "Thanks for the check-up sensei. Was there anything else?"

Nope, that's all good.

He let Keiji head off and then placed the filing in the correct location. Someone would enter the date some time in the next week and Keiji's file would be updated.

Kushin headed home afterwards, hanging up his coat. He called out to one of the medical chiefs Heading off, will be in tomorrow. Don't bother me till then. The woman nodded and headed to the office to make sure Kushin wouldn't be disturbed unless it were an emergency.
