Thump... Thump... Thump...
"Help... Me..." An exasperated breath flowed with the freedom of a strangled animal from Karu.
The scene was -- Unpleasant to see a young child, knelt in a pool of blood, parts and an acidic viscous liquid that funneled with vehement precision through the young boy. Eyes were widened, scared and disgusted with the sight; he knew what happened, what he had done. But it was almost a nightmare- a surreal falsehood that he was controlled by some anomaly. -- He knew though.
There was another with him, although it was difficult to discern who, what gender, their age... Just reddened pools of blood. These thoughts were sickly pouring into his mind.
He murdered someone, out of hunger- He wasn't sure what kind of hunger. It was primal, a yearning as if his body required the blood, parts and ultimately heart from their pour unfortunate soul. It was easy enough; only making his stomach churn more; the person was in a woe of unfortunate events- Walking through an alleyway while Karu balled on the floor. The night sky was cold to most; he lived the feeling as it slowly faded. It had been for months. He knew deep down inside. Something was happening, that he was dying; but he moved and acted so alive despite all the circumstances.
It wasn't until today, that he understood the cost of living while he should've long been a corpse in a morgue, or eviscerated by the flames of retribution. Truthfully, he wasn't sure if he would have died if he didn't absorb this persons everything. All he knew is it was a burning force that swelled deep within' the confines of his slowly hollowing soul.</COLOR></B>
Looking to the sky, he winced at the full moon that loomed innocently in the stars. An outstretched arm towards the sky, a beating bloody form in his hand filled the gaps of the abyss above.
