Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The sounds of silence peering into the halls of the Shrine. This was a perfect time. Right at the parting of dawn in the waves of the new day. The third day. Souji had sent Lightning a note to her home changing the date of their spar. It was definitely something, a spectacle to be shown on this day that Souji would come very much prepped for this endeavor. He was trying to show her that he was formidable. . . as an Elite and as something more. Something so much more. "We can do this Souji. . .", he'd chant to himself nodding he would manage to get himself pumped for the idea of this. He was adept to physical fighting, but his creme de la creme was Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, however he would not be using mental prowess in this fight aside from being a natural tactician and strategist. Nodding to himself he'd draw his plain gladius short sword and begin practicing with it for a moment, Sheathing the weapon after a few short moments he'd nod, moving to the next.

An Obsidian forged blunt sword about four feet in length, "We'll be together... I have to win this.", nodding he'd figure this out slowly. She was a strong woman. Physically strong. He knew she was fast, but not exactly how fast. So, deductive reasoning made her twice as fast as he just to estimate. Souji had initiative in fights, but... would he act defensively. Uhm, what was the ideas of the mind giving to Souji, what could he do to an opponent that he could not touch. . . Well there would definitely be something that he'd have to consider, quite thrilling when one would sit down and think about it.

"Geez Lightning. . . Why are you so complex. . .", shaking his head he'd chuckle to himself but putting his sword away he'd kneel down and pray as he'd await the arrival of the woman. . .

Entering the Sanctum allowed for one to feel the subtle strings of darkness attaching themselves. It was the darkest part of the shrine, only reserved for competitive sparring and training for the ANBU and Guardians amongst each other, but also the main location for interrogation. She'd received Souji's memo, explaining he'd rather spar here. She could understand. It was a one on one spar, no audience needed. It wasn't a test of strength or for show. It was just a friendly wager of sorts, only the betting outcomes were skewed a little. Megami was dressed in her red, white, and black armor, her sword, Crimson Blitz, strapped to her back. Her face was determined, and ready, calculative. Coming to stand in the small arena, she unhooked her sword and swirled it around to get a good grasp, before it was lowered to her side, a stance symbolizing that she was ready. A smirk came to her lips, hearing the last part of his mutterings. "I have standards as much as the next person." She said it lightly, not harshly, as if upset by the comment. She knew her methods may seem strange, but she needed an equal, not a subordinate. He had clearly been running through some prep before they would start, and that was alright. She figured any good warrior knew that, given the time, should run through motions to be secure in their actions. Megami had spent years honing her skills so that her reaction time was instantaneous to what she wanted and didn't want to happen. Was she still mortal though? Yes. So, she knew her life could end and mistakes could be made. That didn't mean she didn't aim to reduce those.

She pulled on her black leather gloves securely, and grasped her sword comfortable in her hand. It was a large blade, red as blood, with streaks that were a dark obsidian. A beautiful weapon. She meant business as much as she knew this was just a friendly spar, where no death or serious injury would be incurred. "Let's go." She gave a confident nod. She was ready to face him, see what this newly named Elite had in him. She had to carefully construct a tactical plan though, as he had a style completely different from hers. Still, being adaptive to your opponent was always important. And as a swordsman, she was ready for that.

His prayers would be cut drastically short, nodding he'd lift himself up and look to his opponent, "As you should. . . doesnt make it any less awkward for myself.", though he chuckled as it didnt truly bother him but it was definitely something that he was worried about. He never saw himself as someone that was particularly a good straight up sparring artist, but it was definitely something he'd do for his own fair chance. With his eyes settled on her. . . gorgeous attire. . . she showed her legs off alot, to which Souji didnt mind at all her skin looked so damn smooth. Either way, he'd roll his shoulders rippling his hands on the hilt of his sword, he'd speak again.

"Well, Lightning. . . I'm curious. . . If I do get far with you. . . will I ever know your name?", but as he would. . . she'd ready herself. . . and without a seconds notice this would begin, but Souji was ready. . . he was as ready as he would be at least, pulling at his weapon he'd smirk and prepare himself. . .

Before the real fun began, Souji had some words of his own. Her lips curled up just ever so slightly at the corners. Not really a smile, but slightly in humor of his comment. "Maybe." A second later, her sword was pointed at him, and a determined stare bore into his being. She started to alter the reality around her sword, making it more flexible and effective to her oncoming offense. When Souji was ready he could attack her. However if he would, his actions would quickly be sidestepped, only for her to activate her inner strength. Suddenly from her body, a large shining aura overtook her. It was her life energy, a bright, brilliant white that would make any onlooker pause. If he took another swing at her, she would quickly maneuver over that as well and proceed to retaliate with 3 quick strikes. She was an ample swordsman, and there was a reason she was the Guardian of Lightning. She was fast, struck with precision, and aimed for a swift victory. This was a real spar, fair as any other. She was going to go for it.

For the next few bits, her speed would manage to keep her dodging his moves, but he'd be able to get a few in. She wasn't a perfect fighter, and she by no means expected not to get hit. That was unrealistic but that didn't mean she didn't have ways to get the upper hand. Leaping back, putting some distance between Souji, her illuminated sword, suddenly released a pulse, and the intense crackling of lightning could be seen, morphing around the blade. The sword was raised as she charged and aimed to land a strike with it on Souji, which would surely pack a punch with the amount of strength and energy that had been into it. After ultimately taking some hits of her own that she expected, and some that would hurt a bit, she would just barely manage to miss anything else he had coming. She put some space between them once more, aiming to evaluate the initial reactions. "Think you can keep up?" She knew he was a good fighter. He wouldn't have his position if he wasn't. But she wanted to amp him up a bit, see just how much he had. Too much of a one sided spar wouldn't be fun. But she had the feeling that was going to change soon.

And it would begin with a slight notion from Lightning, Souji could tell she was serious but he was as well, however from his form he could sense that this was going to be one sided unless he picked up the pace and began his assault early. And from the first motion like a flickering motion she'd be gone and on him smacking him and sending out an aura of strength that suppressed Souji. He could feel his body tighten up and stiffen. It almost made him look down to check himself, but this writer would digress. The maiden he fought was indeed beautiful. . . but again she was far from just any old 'fair maiden' she was a warrior. A Fighter. A survivor. And she'd effectively thwacked Souji a few good times especially with the 'Lightning' blade attack. HIs body was... Rippled with her white chakra. . . almost blinding because of how bright her spiritual energy was.

"Geez, Light. . . You're really somethin. . . Well now its my turn!", and with that he'd retaliate with his blade, but her speed was entirely too much for him, he might... MIGHT have landed a strike. . . but aside from that, he was doomed at taijutsu fighting. He'd fallen so far from his families teachings. Though it was going to change a bit very soon, Souji'e drop his weapon and he'd take a deep sigh, before rolling his shoulders and allowing his shadows to encompass him, but this was going to be a. . . yin and yang battle. Light and Shadow. Hm, both of their nick names. It was going to be fun enough. Souji couldnt help but smirk, "You know, Miss Lightning, I've always wondered how you would've reacted had that not been a serious situation at the Exams. When I... Came into you? Would you have accepted my gesture if it were like this?", he'd leave it to her to respond but maybe not. This was going to be exciting, he was gearing p with his natural affinity of Ninjutsu now. Shadows were his guide and he was about to throw a show for his Sennin!

Now, there were certain lines that even the closest of people could never get away with crossing. Even though Megami had the upper hand, her speed living up to her name, her eyes narrowed as a quick breath was exhaled from her lips. Instead of some quick sarcastic retort, something she would have gladly used, a wave of powerful energy burst from her, on top of the prior one. She was going for it. She needed to gather her strength into one focal point before she could go. This was a precise movement, and it required much of her concentration. Souji would surely get a hit in edgewise, but after that, it was going down. With a fast burst of speed, she launched herself at Souji, drawing her sword back and bringing it down in the blink of an eye. She quickly followed up with a blow that he would definitely be feeling tomorrow, and then, on final instinct, delivered several quick strikes aimed at his arms. Jumping back, she waited to see what his next moves were. There was some slight pain in her side, and she placed her gloved hand over it, pulling away, there was some blood on her fingers. Ah, so the man had managed to catch some of her after all, but it still wasn't going to slow her down. Still though, she knew what he wanted, but his smirk only seemed to hint that even when in a competition for something serious, he was trying to be funny, or maybe just an ass. Either way, she flipped her sword again. She'd made her statement with little use of words or gestures.

The sword was held to her side, her stance, confident. "You want to play? I'm ready, are you?" She didn't smirk, and her words were serious. It could be interpreted however he pleased, but this was no game. She just wondered what the next move was. She was feeling pretty good aside from the slight ache in her side. She'd be able to seal it up pretty quickly when this was all said and done, but until then, there was still a spar going on. She wondered how Souji was doing. Using this time, she began to wonder what the man had planned. And started to contemplate her next moves. Though, as any good swordsman would know, the best use of her sword was like an extension of her arm. Swift and true, but also, an extended reaction of your own natural movement. She had trained and harnessed these skills, and was ready.

Foil. Thwarted. She was getting the best of him and if he didnt get a hold of this else he would not get his chance. Either way he would find it within himself to manage this. "Oh I'm ready. . . Just getting fired up!", her attacks previously landing with rapid succession but it would not end this way. Souji would shake it off sliding a bit back before sighing deeply and emitting a bit of blackened smoke from his mouth. The Shadows within him filling him up and would begin to drop the shadowy spikes from the sky before he'd prep his 'signature' jutsu. He wanted to be known for something in particular but this wouldnt end all too well in the end if it worked out. Alot of chakra building up within him but as he would attempt this it seemed Lightning wouldnt be giving him any time to be charging anything of that sort just yet! She'd send him flying with her swift and consistent attack. Stoic in her look Focused. As if this fight meant nothing to her but victory. . . but he wouldnt linger on that thought too long before he'd begin once again.

At this point he'd be a deadman if hr wasnt holding onto a tread of life, she was serious... and why did he think she'd cut him any slack. She wanted a partner that was on her level... and... maybe he wasnt giving her the best show! Huffing a bit he'd take a breath and cool down. He was tense. Why? There was so much riding on this, and he just wanted to have a chance... but he'd mnot get anything unless he showed himself strong. Eh, this was going one way fast. . .

"Whats it gonna be Lightning? Whats it gonna be?" he was about to revert to using Genjutsu just so he could try to have a chance but he didnt want to attack her delicate mind. It was such a fragile thing to lose. . . and Souji didnt like what he'd become if he did attack her mind through illusions. . . He had to stick to Ninjutsu. It was the safe way, "Do you think I'd give up easy? I'm going to earn your heart!" shaking his head he'd begin his assault! This was now or never.... right?

Then he'd feel compelled to Smirk after looking to Lightning... what could happen from this?

Ding Dong mu neu ryeo reo da o, Nae ga wat dan da, Su meu ryeo do so yong eop seo, Ding dong eo seo yeo reo da o, Na ga wat dan da, Do mang chi gi e ni mi neu jeo sseo. Giving a smirk of her own, Megami chuckled. Oh, how fun this would be. He didn't know what was coming. He had gotten in a few good hits, sure, but he wasn't ready for what was to come. Suddenly Megami threw her hand out, and curled it into a fist, slowly. Souji would begin to feel the clarity of his mind slip away, becoming vulnerable. She then grinned, Souji seemingly focused on her. And one might wonder why? Well, this was where the fun happens. Megami placed a hand on her hip, cocking it out. She flipped her hair with the other hand and then winked at Souji, her eyes making contact with his. A smirk made it's way onto Souji's face, as if compelled not of his own accord. Perfect. Megami dropped her sword, and sashayed slowly, accenting the movement of her hips, towards Souji. She lifted a hand, curling one finger in a suggestive 'come here' fashion. A look of pure seduction taking over her expression. But that gesture was far from harmless. Souji would find himself being quickly dragged towards her, faster and faster, until at the last second she would reel him into her person, and lean up, as if about to plant a kiss on his lips. Until she smirked. "Try the punch." Before he'd have time to process what that even meant, her fist would make contact with his face, blasting him back. He'd probably being seeing stars for a while.

Megami actually admitted that was kind of fun. She picked her sword off the ground and hooked it back into the holster on her back. Walking over, she would move to Souji's position, a slight grin on her face. "I think I owe you a drink. Anything hurt too bad?" She would hold her hand out for him to take, no scorn or arrogance present. She truly enjoyed herself. Sometimes things appear more than what they are. She wondered if he could look past the obvious as well. She waited to see if he needed some quick patch ups, but then she gestured towards an exit. There was bound to be someplace quiet they could talk and get a nice drink while they were at it. She was buying.

Then it would happen, his face would rise up to smirk at her. This time not on his own, 'WHat did she do? I didnt know she used Genjutsu!' he was only able to stand there as she seductively danced her way a bit towards him but his body seemed to be completely moving on its own. . . being drawn forth and without even a notion of what to do otherwise. . . and then it happened. The point where the protagonist in the story gets his goal, he reached the pinnacle of his story, or at least a very notable high point. Her lips pressed to his. . . well in Souji's mind. He. . . he could feel it. He wanted it so badly that he could literally feel them. . . but nothing. Nothing again. He was being teased by this woman. IT was almost disheartening. Though this was Lightning, ever the tease. . .

Then he'd feel the her fist connect with his face sending him flying backwards into a full tumble and finishing with him planting himself into the wall before sliding down and off it unto the floor below. He was unconscious for a moment. ". . .uuf. . .", shaking his head after the moment had passed he'd nod. "Ugh. . .Yeah. . .A drink. . .", he'd respond to her before turning to his back and leaning against the wall, but ultimately taking her hand to help him up and grinning. "Though, I got my ass handed to me. . . I dont even think I deserve the drink. . .", nodding a bit he'd still be oddly grinning, ". . .But I dont think you'd offer the drink for nothing. . . unless you're just being nice for the sake of it. . .", 'And not trying to hurt my feelings about it. . .'

He'd await her facial changes along with her answer to see how this would tread forward. Though. . . He didnt expect much just yet. She seemed to like taking things at a slower pace. And that was respectable, right?

Maybe she was a bit rough around the edges, but Megami was like one of those pieces of candy where on the outside, you'd assume it was some kind of fudge by the chocolate casing. Where it's assumed you know that it's fudge, and you prepare for the texture and the flavor, and you are wholeheartedly ready to eat that fudge. But then you take a bite. You are met with no resistance that comes with the consistency of fudge. It's not thick and tough, chewy. Instead, it's soft. Inside the hard casing of chocolate was three layers of multiflavored cake. There's strawberry, and chocolate, and vanilla. And the chocolate wasn't milk chocolate at all, it was dark. A bitter casing with a deliciously sweet interior. Because people have layers, not just like onions, but also like cake. The purpose of this metaphor? Megami could be hard on the outside, the appearance that people see, the judgment that people can make. Some didn't look past the hardened exterior, the exterior of a leader, of a person who is guarded. But some people look past what they see, they experience her kindness, her comfort, her care. She was a versatile person, and not many would get the honor to see her beyond the protective warrior, to the person that was inside.

A smile rose to her face. She was an experienced swordsman and lived up to her namesake. When she pulled him up she could feel the tension in his muscles. Maybe she overdid it a smidge. But she fought with her ancestors strength, their lessons. She fought with versatility and her own flare. Even in spars she was competitive. She turned a corridor and entered a small room off to the side. It was a break room of sorts, complete with stocked drinks and snacks. She walked over and poured herself a shot of vodka. Souji could help himself to whatever he liked. "You got in a few good shots, I wouldn't say I handed you your ass, just served it." She smirked, and downed her drink. A moment later she hummed her approval. "I really should stay away from this stuff. But it's too good. Here, have a taste." She would then turn and pour another shot, before drinking that one too and then grabbing his collar. She had a tendency to do that, huh? And pulled his lips to hers, given that there was no resistance. It would be quick, and sweet. The vivid taste of the vodka on her lips. It was flavored. Strawberry. It was slow, but brief. The type of kiss that leaves you breathless and almost tipsy with endorphins. A small stream of healing energy had also been directed into it, healing his pain and giving a sense of rejuvenation. Even though there was no life saving involved, perhaps this would be considered or labeled as a repurposed kiss of life.

Drawing back, there was an incredibly noticeable blush on her face, and she looked to the side, her bangs shielding some of her face. Though a scowl adorned her features, it wasn't the least bit harsh or serious. The last bit of her walls trying to stay up. She poured another drink and downed it. Perhaps alcohol really was just liquid courage. Either way, the corner of her lips turned up ever so subtly. "You passed by the way" She wondered what would happen from there. But one thing she figured, was Souji wasn't expecting that from her. Well, you can have your cake and eat it too.

There were times where a person could think one thing was going to end a different way, but eh. Souji would smirk as he was pulled up to his feet, but he would just simply tread behind her. It was. . . odd. Souji was still in a bit of pain anyways and his body was sore so it was to be expected. Aside from that he got a chance to actually look at the way she walked. Swaying with a sense of bravado, a sense of sass and strength. And all while still carrying the air femininity to it? Or a type of female Souji was accustomed to that was like his mother. She reminded him of his mother sometimes... Strong. Witty. Though, that was the woman he'd once known. Now, that they entered the heavenly break-room. Somewhere Souji liked to spend a bit of time. He smoked his strawberry hookah and drank a bit here to relax on his downtime. And Lightning seemed to be drinking a bit as well... downing a shot like a true champ she'd offer him something as well...

"Well I guess you're the owner of that restaurant of ass that was serviced to me. Full course meal of my own ass being handed to me. . .", though he'd begin to retort to everything else she said, "Oh... Thank you, I'll-. . .", and then in him reaching for the drink she'd snatch him from his thought and into her lips. His body fell limp for a moment. It wasnt everyday that the body of Shadows would lay a hand, let alone his lips upon the energy of a Goddess. . . well as close to a Goddess as a human being could be. And Souji was merely a snake in the grass. . . in comparison. Though back to the smooch, her lips, soft, warm, soothing. . . He could feel his body healing wounds . . . was she that powerful? His eyes widened. . . and he couldnt help but. . . obviously swoon. . .

Pulling back after it was over he'd gasp for air being breath taken by what he just experienced, "Li...lightning. . . Oh my. . .", looking at her he'd see her scowl, wondering if he was that bad of a kisser, 'Geez. . . am I bad? was it my breath!?' he'd quickly checked his breath, but no it wasnt bad she would speak, causing his features to stop in their tracks dulling out before picking up into a smile. "Well, I guess that means you like me then, huh? I guess I like you too. . ." grinning a bit before taking the drink into his hands, raising it up to have a sort of cheer, "To the future. . .", smiling fully he'd await her response before drinking and clinking the drinks together lightly.

She smirked at his comment, still trying to process her own actions in her head. She wanted to do that, but she wasn't good with emotions, heart to hearts and all that. She poured herself another shot and clinked it to his glass. There wasn't much words needed between them, not in her opinion. But she still would partake in the private celebration of sorts. "Cheers." Drinking the shot in one go once more, she hummed again at the burning as the drink slid down her throat, warming her. She was a woman who could handle her hard liquor, not a light weight at all. This was nothing, which meant all the more time to enjoy it. She didn't drink often, too many times where she needed to have all her wits about her, but this would be a time when that wasn't the case. She could enjoy herself a little.

Moving over to lean on one of the tables, placing her sword next to her, and crossed her arms. "I'm never going to hear the end of this from Hana." She shook her head, a small smile on her lips. She was in a light mood, lighter than usual that is. She could be relaxed and fun when she wanted to be, but often time that wasn't the role she had to play, and that was the role she had voluntarily accepted. "You might be confused why you passed. Strength can be measured in numerous ways. Loyalty is one of your highest prominent features. In relationships, loyalty is more noble than power, if it wavers, you are weaker. It gives a sense of equality between both members, understanding. That's why strength through loyalty, is greater than strength through power." Megami had placed the bottle of vodka next to her, occasionally drinking more, but mostly leaning. Content to sit in the quiet room, the only noise the occasional buzz of the lights overhead. "Do you feel any more accomplished since we first met?" She wasn't referring to just them. And he would know that. But she wondered if he resented his life any less. Living in darkness was like living in a world of uncertainty. When you lose the light, you lose hope. And without hope, you lose everything.

Souji would smile as the glasses would clink together, it was something of a ritual that he never got. Like, what if the glasses had broke because of Lightning's physical strength. What if they broke because the glasses were just not sturdy. Well there were alot of 'what ifs' that Souji thought about, but not as much these days. He was a bit more free from the torment of his internal darkness of before. He's come along ways in the last year, being one of the lower ranked Guardians of his state. He rose above... taking every job he could. Every gate entry he could handle. Every call of the Sennin. Everything. He tried to gather any and all information that could be used for the sake of the village. For the sake of thousands of lives. Those lives he vowed always to protect with every breath he took. And he was loyal to this woman sitting across from him. . . this woman that had been someone he could rely on to not only tell him the truth but to treat him like an individual and not just 'Random Guardian #5', she treated him with respect, even with her hardened exterior sometimes. She was sometimes cold to the touch but she had a meaning behind alot of what she said and did. . . a woman that was very calculated, smart, and reserved at times. Though, she was someone that he respected because she was consistent.

If it was about work... she was in work mode... but she was built like a human. She had emotions, feelings, and above all she was riddled like a maze. Never actually being able to read her. . . it thrilled Souji. Someone that he couldnt look at and figure out. It rarely happened. "Hana? Why's that?", he'd chuckle having an inclination of what might be going on with Hana, but the smile on Lightning's face just made Souji smile in return. It was a warm feeling, tender, he felt as if he was finally comfortable. He was always so damn tense. . . everything had his muscles cramping and stiff. . . always prepped for an attack or for work. . . or anything.

But now. . . He was. . . relaxed.

It felt good for once.

"Hm. . .", listening to her speak he'd take a drink, he was a light weight in terms of alcohol. . . he tended to be able to hold the first two or three drinks well but anything after that he'd fall over with a rosy pink face. Though, this was only his second drink. . . so maybe he'd be able to have that fourth and not become a spazz. "I feel. . . especially since the first one on one time we ever really had, that I've been applying your words to my life in the best way I could. . . it was something I needed to hear. . .and it wasnt once that you said it. You drove it with your own actions. . . So it was enough for you to say it but you enacted it in your own life. You gave me hope. . . for myself, and for others. . . Thats a strong thing that no one has ever done for me. . .", he'd pause, smiling whole-heartedly for a moment before continuing, "I've grown alot. . . the darkness that I always seemed to relish in. I came to grips with the fact that. . . I was simply hiding from myself. Afraid of actually moving forward and failing. . . Afraid of everything that could be. As you can see though. . .", he'd let off a cheeky smirk before looking into her eyes, "I'm alot more than just the Snake summoning-shadow user that you once knew. . . I've grown out of the shadows. . . They are only a tool I use now. They are not who I am. Shadow is merely a name that I am called. . . and now the person you see before you is, Yukata Souji. . .", nodding he'd huff before nodding solemnly to himself looking up into the lights.

"I thank you. . . You've both given me a chance to prove myself as a man. . . and as something more to you. . . I'd say its an honor. . .", lowering his eyes after a moment, it was as if he had so many things written within his eyes. All the thoughts. Future. Past. But those eyes, they spoke of this moment, this moment that he wanted. . . "However, that'd be a bit too cliche' for my tastes. . . So I'll just say, lets see where this takes us. Fair Enough?", and with that the ball was back in Lightning's court. What would happen from this. . . maybe something worth speaking fairy tales about. . . Maybe. However, this was no fairy tale couple. This was a badass couple of badassery that could whoop nearly anything that came their way. . . and what they did now was set a bond that could never be broken.

It was flattering to hear another speak so highly of her mannerisms. Others seemed to take her words for wisdom, guidance, hope. That's what she tried to be, a beacon of hope, a leader to those who have no voice. She tried to remain a just, unbiased party, but she was still only human, and she wasn't trying to become anything more than what she was. Megami gave a morose smile and pushed the vodka away from her, fine to no longer drink. "I'm glad I was able to help you in some way. Knowing your identity, and sticking to who you are, what you believe, is greater than being a drone, succumbing to your failures and accepting your limitations. Conformists lose a sense of who they are, and along with that, their purpose. It's a shame." She stepped closer to him, taking his drink from him as well and placing it on the table. Her eyes were searching, calculating. Pale Aqua, flickered with emerald flecks, like an ocean at early dawn.

She let the room fall into a comfortable silence, unwavering. Much of what she said, seemed to be conveyed through the silence of her presence, her body language. "So, Yukata Souji, patriarch of the Yukata Clan, eldest son to Razu and NAAAM!, Elite Guardian to the trained elite forces of Iwagakure, you stand before me, now, in all that you are. So, what are you going to do about it?" She smirked, a challenge in her eyes, combined with humor. She always did see things as a challenge, the next victory just on the horizon. She was ambitious, and didn't back down easy. She was reserved, but warm. They had finished what they came here for, now it was a matter of figuring out where each stood. She wondered just how much he would still consider himself a lesser to her. She didn't see it like that. Perhaps only in technical business terms, but not personally. That's the funny thing about these situations. Hana was always better at figuring them out than she was. She wondered if Souji would rise to her final challenge. Unless that Anaconda don't want none~

Honestly, with the encompassing thoughts he was getting from this conversation, his emotions swirling around and wondering if this was going to be the proverbial 'climax' that he'd been waiting for. Not at all sexually, but in a way it was more in depth than anything he'd had leading up to this point. "Well as much as I'd like to take credit for this growth without you putting the bug in my ear. . . I dont think I'd have changed. I'd grown very used to just allowing people to trample over me and my life. . .", nodding he would take another drink and before long he'd feel this one catching him, slamming his head into the table, and then punching him repeatedly in the nostrils. . . It was safe to say. . . He was tipsy. Though, he was still coherent but, he was definitely at his limit. So with that he didnt want to destroy this moment, setting the drink down he'd lean back in his chair, looking outside once again whilst listening to Lightning.

Haha, it was funny because thats all anyone knew his mother's name to be. She never said it. Not even to Souji. And his father was definitely told not to say it so this was sort of a nickname of sorts. Namuza was the name he was told to call her but being told to call her something whilst knowing that wasnt her real name. . . it was odd no? It wasnt that she was some secret agent or something but it was definitely obvious there was something going on with her name. Either way. . . "Well. . . So Guardian of Lightning. . . Leader of the Guardians, I stand before you. . . I am only Souji, but a man that knows now where his heart is reaching. . .", he'd hold his hand out to her calmly with a small curl of his lips.

"I want to see where this thing called 'Life' takes us. . . were it has us in this moment. . . May the Gods and Goddesses bless us going forth into. . . whatever we are now. . .", and with that the ball was back in her park. . . this was a union. . . not a one sided agreement. But he'd definitely oblige, moving his hand further now, he'd attempt to wrap it around her waist to pull them in closer to one another, they'd be able to share a breath. If things worked the way he wanted. . . he'd lean in towering her for a moment, "Půjdeme?" and if she'd oblige him he'd plant another kiss upon her soft lips as she had taken the courtesy of moments prior.
