Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Aya was walking along the top of the wall, after getting a few of the guard's permission, as long as she didn't hop over then there'd be no trouble. One day, she'd be up here actually guarding, maybe. This time, she was just looking out into the mountains and enjoying the fresh air. Taking breaks from training was a good thing, and it helped her get motivated to do more training.

Aya has long ginger hair, hazel eyes, and almost paper white skin with freckles that can be seen all over where her skin shows. She has on her usual green baggy jacket over a white tank top and black shorts. She was wearing black framed glasses, the lens didn't look too thick.

Aya heard some talking nearby, on the other side of the wall. SHe spotted two masked men, one was obviously ANBU, and the other... he looked like an outsider. HIs mask was not an ANBU mask. He was pointing, what she assumed was, a weapon at the ANBU. It looked like a fight was about to break out, if she was a higher rank she'd help, but right now she was just a wee baby. SO watching the fight was better than anything right now.

Aya stood on the edge of the wall to watch the happenings of this possible fight. SHe was sure the ANBU would win, he'd know when to call in back up if he needed it. Not that she could help.

Finished with his task to admit a few visiting Leafies into the village, Uri led them inside the gate until he saw a gathering in some part. He had heard there was a commotion and wondered if it was something important. Needless to say, he looked over to the visitors and bade them farewell for now. He then went over to the watch tower to get a better view. Mind you, this allowed him to also make sure he was looking outside the gate to see if there were any more visitors. Still, it was a quaint area to observe the proceedings.

"A fight?" He muttered as he looked down to find an anbu and a stranger who looked exactly like... "Eh? It's that masked weirdo. How unlucky. I should have been the one to meet him." He clicked his tongue and then gathered his things before perching on the tower's railings to sit and watch. A flask of fresh hot matcha and a box of daifuku sent by Rokudo-san.

Yomi pulled her hood up as she got herself to a better vantage point to watch Maru. The only reason why she had known it was Maru was because Kaori told her it was. Otherwise, she would not have immediately pieced it together. Honestly, she would not even be here if it wasn't for the casual mention. That's how information gets spread...super casually, at least that's what Apple told her.

Anyway, Maru had gotten so tall and she wondered if he had gotten any better at his insults. The last one she recalled him spewing to her was when he called her a 'nappy headed ho' - a direct quote. Perhaps she mis-remembered, but, it was definitely something with nappy at the crux of his insult. The Cloud ANBU was probably capable enough to give Maru a run for his money, since, if you're at the gates you most certainly should be. Besides, he was giving off familiar BD energy that she couldn't quite put her finger on which screamed capable. Not that that mattered at all...

Yomi still felt somewhat responsible for his outcome and at this point embarrassed because of it. There was many things that she knew he needed and he didn't get because there was not enough hours in the day to cater to just him, nor did she have ample support at the time. He was one of those things that fell through the cracks and although he was no longer her responsibility, she could not help how she felt.

"Damnit Maru..." She mumbled under her breath.

The fight seemed to get off on a bad start, at least from what she could tell. Then again, Aya had never seen two shinobi fight, if the Masked man could really be called that. She'd never seen a shinobi use a gun, only bandits, and people trying to make up for the strength they lacked. But he seemed to have hit the Anbu, so he had a good aim.

In the middle of the battle, the masked man stopped to introduce himself as if this was some sort of show. Aya cringed a bit, "So he's an Idiot... " she muttered, then she pulled her legs up and put her head on her knees to get in a more comfortable watching position. He was an Idiot for picking a fight with an ANBU, but now he was an outwardly crazy idiot.

She'd still be able to move out of the way if she needed to. Other people started to watch as well, citizens were sure to leave, but other shinobi stayed and watched.

Aya observed the ANBU closely, she wanted to know what made him an ANBU. Her goal was to join this group of shinobi, so maybe she could learn a thing or two from this battle. They moved fast, and they attacked even faster. She was taking mental notes of the jutsu they were using. THough it was hard to keep up with them.

Though what peaked her interest is that this Maru seemed to know who this ANBU was. She didn't think too much about it, maybe he was just as crazy as he sounded?

It seemed one of the area jutsu ended, and things were a lot clearer. The ANBU used some sort of clone jutsu, which looked pretty cool. The ANBU had been quiet this whole time, then he broke his silence with a good one-liner. She was surprised he started speaking, maybe this maru guy was getting under his skin? Who knew.

This Battle looked like it was going to end soon, Maru was bleeding badly and didn't seem like he could recover fast enough. He was going to be beaten or killed. She assumed they would want him Alive, interrogate him, and then either execute him or imprison him, if he didn't die from this.

Aya watched the fight, not even thinking of glancing at the people around her. Soon enough the fight came to an end. The ANBU had taken a beating but was much better off than Maru. He went up to maru, and pulled him close, assumingly to tell him something. Aya couldn't hear it. Next thing, he started to burn Maru's body. She guessed he had no mercy, though Aya found it intriguing. She was sure Maru was dead, so she got up and started walking along the wall again. She took a glance over and saw his body had completely burned away, but his heart(s) were still there. Strange, but she shrugged it off, maybe the anbu was going to collect the heart for his own personal collection? Who knows. The heart(s) was/were floating in some kind of blue goo, that's what it looked like from Aya's standpoint. Remaining chakra maybe?

Anyways, She felt things were over and decided to leave. She hopped down off the wall, back into the village.
