Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Takeshi wandered into the Exam hall, looking around it seemed that those that had been given instructions the night before had carried them out without delay. Chairs were laid out a good distance, apart from each other, and a clear walkway in between each of the rows had been shown. Walking down the rows he inspected each desk clearly and checked for anything that was out of place. Once he was satisfied that the desks were just that desks he allowed himself to place a single pencil in front of the desk, the lead had been snapped off of the tip of the pencil rendering it useless unless sharpened.

The next thing he placed down was a single piece of paper with numbers on a set amount of spaces simply put this would be the answer books to those that were participating in this today. With those simple two things on the desk he walked over to the teacher's desk and placed a stack of papers onto it, the dreaded examination books as they were. No-one would know the questions till everyone had arrived, simply put they were under a time limit here and had to work well with pressure.

With all his side prepared there was only one thing left to do write up the rules on the board. Grabbing the chalk from the blackboard he brought it to the material as black and white began to come together.

Chunin Examination

Time:
1 Hour 45 Minutes

Test Part: 1/2

Method: Theory

Rules:

1. No talking at all, once you enter this class you remain silent unless spoken to, talking to anyone else, contact with anyone else is an instant fail.
2. Failure to complete the exam questions is an automatic fail

4. If you are late you fail.

With that everything was prepared for the exam, he allowed himself to sit down in the teacher chair and looked at the clock it seemed those that were prepared would turn up early, he would make a mental note of the names. But for now, with thirty minutes left to go, it was down to the Shinobi who thought they were prepared to turn up.

Hinata had woken up early this morning, Having prepared for once He got out of bed, his hair was long` reaching down to his lower back, Yawning as he sat in front of a mirror brushing his hair even if it always end up the same. Tieing his long hair into a ponytail so it is mostly out of the way.

After having gotten His hair done he begun to get dressed, putting on his usual appearance. Wearing a black Kimono like overcoat with the uchiha symbol on the back.

He headed to the kitchen, still quite early morning. He decided to make breakfast. A normal breakfast of roll Omulet, Rice and Juice. He made enough for himself but also some for Jirou and Karasu once they wake up, Sitting down to eat he quite enjoyed the meal. Depite not having good social skills, He was really good at two things, Ninja stuff, and Housework.

Soon after finishing his food he Left before anyone else for once as he headed for the front door, slipping his geta sandles on and he went on his way. Wanting to arrive early he ran down the streets heading for the academy. Once he did tho he soon he arrived at the classroom, Before entering tho he soon calmed his nerves, he was ready. He entered the classroom for the exam, Taking a seat right in the middle. Without saying a word he waited patiently, observing all else who arrived, Using the skills he know to observe their skills, how they act and such.

Today was a very big day for Jirou and Kashikoi. This was the day of the Chuunin exam and it was NOT one that he would be late for. It was still dark outside when Jirou and Kashikoi awoke from their slumber. Not that they had really slept all that much. Both of them were so excited that they could hardly sleep. This was the day when they were to be tested to see if they had what it took to be promoted to chuunin. Jirou wasted no time in taking Kashikoi out for his early morning walk to water the grass and relieve himself. It did not take long before Jirou and Kashikoi were back inside. Jirou had already laid his clothes out the night before. They were wrinkle free and ready to be worn after his shower. Jirou went into the bathroom taking his toothbrush and towel with him. He brushed his teeth and even made sure that Kashikoi brushed his teeth as well. Holding out this finger with a small amount of winter fresh toothpaste on the end, Kashikoi licked the toothpaste from his finger and went to lie down in the corner to wait while Jirou took his shower. “Good boy. Now wait there. I won’t be long.” After running the water to make sure the water was warm enough, Jirou entered the shower thinking about the chuunin exam. He wondered what kind of questions would be asked and just what the test would consist of. Would it be written or practical? Would there be questions that he would be asked? He was excited yet nervous, very much hoping that he would be able to pass this test. Jirou was never one to waste time in the shower. Once he had finished rinsing off he exited the shower. Taking his towel he dried himself first then wrapping the towel around his waist for the return to his room where he would get dressed.

With Kashikoi following right behind him, Jirou returned to their room where he proceeded to dress himself in the clothes that were laid out on the bed. He had chosen a simple cream colored tunic with a light blue cloak worn over the tunic. The cloak had his family emblem embroidered on the back. He wore a leather belt around the tunic that held his pouch with all of his tools. He slid his chakra blade into its own sheath that was attached on the side opposite from his pouch. He wore a pair of loose fitting comfortable pants that would not hinder his movement afterwards sliding on his open toed boots. The only thing left was his sword that he slid into the holster on his back. He double checked that he had everything and combed his hair afterwards smiling to his reflection in the mirror, “Okay Kashikoi we are all set. Let’s see about breakfast and head over to where we are supposed to take the test.”

When he entered the kitchen he could see that breakfast had already been set out. That was good since Jirou was not a fan of having to cook. He ate the breakfast of omelette, rice and juice sharing the omelette with Kashikoi who ate his share with great enjoyment. Kashikoi was never one to pass up an egg and cheese omelette. After finishing the meal Jirou washed his dirty dishes and cup in the sink. He set the dishes in the drain pan and wasted no time in leaving the house to go to the Academy for the exam. There was no way they were going to be late for this.

The morning air was crisp as the pair made their way to the Academy. The sun had risen and it shone brightly as it rose over the various buildings they passed along the way. Entering the main Academy building, Jirou and Kashikoi walked into the Exam Hall. He could see that a few others including Hinata had already arrived and taken their seats. Looking up at the blackboard he reads what is written before finding a desk to sit at that would have a good view of everyone in the room. He can see that there is a piece of paper on the desk and a pencil with the tip broken off. Curious. The instructions on the board suggested that the first part of the exam would be written. Yet the provided writing instrument was in need of sharpening. That appeared to be deliberate and he wondered if the first part of the exam would be a written one after all. Jirou knew that he had a pen knife in his pouch and could sharpen the pencil easily enough if he needed to. Still he had a feeling that this exam was not going to be like any other exam he had ever taken. Having already read on the blackboard that there was to be no talking at all, Jirou remained absolutely quiet and silently gave Kashikoi the hand signals to sit and stay. Kashikoi laid down his head on his front paws and waited with Jirou for the start of the exam.

It was very early in the morning and the sound of beeping could be heard. It was repetitive and loud. Karasu tried to mute the sound with the covers over her head but nothing worked. She immediately slammed her hand against the button on the alarm clock that was going off. The sound finally stopped much to Karasu’s dismay. She couldn’t get back to sleep. She laid there in her four poster bed staring at the ceiling. A grin formed on her face and words escaped her mouth. “The Chuunin Exam is today.” her eyes were filled with excitement on having a chance to actually be a Chuunin. This was all she could think of. She finally got up and made her bed. Then she went into the shower. She was quite happy and it showed in her shower singing.

After Karasu got out of the shower she brushed her teeth then got her clothes out to get dressed. She picked a comforting purple and black shirt long sleeve shirt. On the back of it was the symbol of her father’s clan Nakano with the symbol of two double bladed spears crossing each other. She got out some black pants that allowed her to be quite flexible with any type of movement. Next was a black pouch that had all her ninja tools and other items. She figured she was going to need everything. She combed her long white hair and put it in a ponytail. She looked into the mirror to see if she forgot anything then remembered to attach her senbon arm launcher on her arm which sleeve hid it from view. Next was her katana that her father made her. She grabbed it and sheathed it on her back. Last but not least was her Leaf Village headband to show that she was a Genin and Shinobi of the village. She wore it with pride.

She had plenty of time before she had to leave so she went into the kitchen to eat breakfast. She saw that there was already breakfast made. She wondered if her dad made it before going off to work. It was possible that Jirou or Hinata made it before they left. Of course she wasn’t sure if Jirou or Hinata had left for the Chuunin exam already. She looked on the table where there was omelettes, rice and some juice. She grabbed a plate and sat down to eat. It was delicious. She was glad that she didn’t have to cook. She doesn’t mind cooking but with breakfast already made it allowed her to have extra time to get to the exam. Her thoughts went to the exam wondering what it would entail. Images of great battles appeared in her mind. She thought of situations she might be in so she could see how to counter. It was really no use because anything could happen and it would not go as planned like the scenarios in her mind. She shook her head then took the last bite of her omelette and rice. She washed it down with her juice then put the dishes in the sink and cleaned them.

Now it was time to leave once everything was cleaned. She opened the door and grabbed her open toed boots and put them on before she left. The Chuunin exams were on the other side of the village and Karasu had to walk through the market area of the village in order to get to the other side where the academy was. It wasn’t a long walk but Karasu still walked with a good pace to make sure she would get there in time. She was always punctual and never had been late for anything in her life. She didn’t want this to be the first time. She saw the academy just ahead and entered the building. She knew she had to go to the exam hall which was across the way.

Entering the exam room she saw that a few people were already there. Some npc and others she knew like Hinata, Jirou and Kashikoi. She noticed that the desks were separated to be a good distance apart from one another. On each desk there was a pencil with the tip broken off and a piece of paper on it. She tilted her head on why the tip was broken off and from what she could see was that the other pencils were exactly the same. She figured there was a reason for it but she also knew she had a small pencil sharpener in her pouch. She always took notes down for various reasons, so having a pencil sharpener came in handy though she had to admit she didn’t know she was going to take a written test beforehand. She continued to look around examining the entire room. There was the instructor's desk with a stack of paper on it. Behind it was a blackboard with writing on it. It was the rules of the exam. It was to be a written exam on theory about an hour and forty five minutes long. It was also only the first part of the test. She figured the practical exam will be after the written one. The rules stated absolute quiet meaning she couldn’t even make contact with anyone now that she was in the exam room. She understood that they probably wanted to prevent cheating so they were very cautious on how everything was done. Karasu sat toward the middle row of the class but not too close to Hinata or Jirou. She took a deep breath and exhaled. She didn’t say a word, she just wanted to be focused on whatever the test was going to be on. She also kept very aware of everyone and everything in the room. It was a reflex really just in case she needed to use any of her skills. She was a bit nervous but she was usually good with written tests so she hoped she would be ok. She waited patiently for the exam to officially begin.

Takeshi studied over the Genin that had turned up a lot of familiar faces, well frankly all three of them were familiar to him as he looked at them. He signed before standing up from his chair, grabbing three papers from the front of the classroom he looked to each of them a small smile on his face as he walked to the front of the classroom to address each of them during this time he looked at the watch as the hour approached with five mintues to spare this gave him time to go over the rules of the exam and what was expected of each of them.

"Welcome to part one of your Chunin exam, this part is Theory based, unlike your second part which will be practical based. You are not allowed to talk to anyone else when answering these questions and I expect all questions to be answered as required in the exam. You will have 1 hour and 45 minutes from the time the clock hits the hour. If you do finish early please hand your paperback into me for marking, those that pass the exam will be given instructions on what to do for the next stage."

With that, he walked across to each of them, before placing the exam paper face down on their desks for them to turn over when they were instructed to do so. As he walked back over to his desk and turned to each of them and gestured out with his hands.

"You may now begin, time remaining is one hour and forty-five minutes"

With that he took his seat back at the front of the desk, waiting patiently as he kept his eyes trained on them for the slightest unexpected movement, or a slight whisper to come from there lips, any indications of words that have been given between the two people. The exam was to challenge the minds of each of them, make them think the Shinobi way, some questions to challenge leadership, others to cover the abilities of those taking the exam. It would be gruelling but the work required thought.

1) Why do you feel prepared to step up to the rank fo Chunin
2) What experience in the field have you had so far?
3) What makes a good team in terms of experience?
4) What would you look for when creating a team?
5) How would your device if your students are ready for an exam?
6) What missions would you take with students?

Jirou and Kashikoi were waiting quietly for the exam to get underway. He had studied as much as he could hoping to be as prepared for this exam as possible. Jirou was a good student and he was diligent in his note taking. It really helped him when it came time to study. He wasn’t about to talk to anyone else and fail the exam for talking. He had worked too hard to get this opportunity. He had no intention of blowing the exam by talking to others, even if those others were his friends. He wondered if the others were as nervous as he was. He didn't just have butterflies flapping around in his stomach. He had very unhappy bats having a party in his belly. He really wanted to do well on this exam.

That is probably why Jirou felt relief once the Lord Fourth started speaking about the rules and parameters of the exam. He listened closely as he explained that the exam would be in two parts. This first part would cover theory and be written. The second part would be practical. They would have one hour and forty five minutes to complete the first part of the exam. Jirou thought that the instructions were clear and straightforward. He understood what was expected of him as the paper was placed on his desk face down. He waited and did not turn the test paper over until Takeshi said to start the exam.

It was only when the permission was given by Takeshi that Jirou turned the paper over and started to look over the questions. Part of being a Shinobi also meant being able to read a situation and calculate a strategy with the best chance for success. Within moments Jirou was ready to start writing his answers. He reached for the broken pencil only to remember that the tip had been broken off. In fact all the pencils in the room were the same way. This was a dilemma and he saw it as just another part of the test. It was a problem that needed solving based on what he had available to him. This is what Jirou was doing when he took the chakra blade from the holster on his belt and infused his own chakra into the blade. Slowly and deliberately Jirou began to carefully whittle away small strips from the pencil using small amounts of his own chakra to hone the end of the pencil. He hoped that this pencil would last long enough to complete the test or he just might be finishing the test writing in his own blood. Under the circumstances he was determined to complete the test in the allotted time. He would write in his own blood if he needed to.

Once the pencil was sharpened Jirou got right to work. He wrote furiously, stopping only when he needed to find the right words to use. The questions were challenging but Jirou felt up to the challenge as he continued working his way through the exam. He was focused only on his test paper while he worked. He knew that Karasu and Hinata were faced with their own tests. Each of them had to face this challenge on their own. He hopes that the three of them are able to advance to the second part of the exam. He hopes that he will be able to advance to chunin after completing both of the exams.

Jirou was nearing the end of the exam as he now worked on the last question. The pencil that he had been using was darn near worn down to a nub. Jirou looked over his answers changing a word or two here and there where needed. He had done the best he could and did not think that there was much more that he could add. Setting the pencil down on the desk, Jirou stood up from his desk and took the completed test paper to the front of the room. Kashikoi lifted his head and watched Jirou as he placed the test paper down on the desk before the Lord Fourth. Jirou then returned to his desk and quietly sat back down, his hands folded before him while he awaited further instructions.

1) Why do you feel prepared to step up to the rank of Chunin?

This seems like the next step in my growth as a Shinobi. Being someone who thrives on challenges, I feel ready to take my place as a leader to help defend the village. I am someone who takes initiative. I am not one to stand back and do nothing. If the village needs my help both myself and Kashikoi will be there to defend against any threats. Even if it means giving our lives in the process. This is our ninja way.

2) What experience in the field have you had so far? See Question 10
3) What makes a good team in terms of experience? See Question 10
4) What would you look for when creating a team? See Question 10
5) How would your device if your students are ready for an exam? See Question 10
6) What missions would you take with students? See Question 10
7) What do you think Konoha Shinobi should represent? See Question 10
8) How did you find the Academy helped you prepare for the exam? See Question 10
9) What new techniques would you teach? See Question 10
10) Ignore questions two till ten and carry on from there. Continue with Question 11

11) There are two Shinobi in front of you, you only have one Kunai you must defeat both Shinobi explain how you would achieve this?

The body of the Shinobi is their weapon. Being aware of your surroundings and being able to think several steps ahead to come up with a strategy are just as much a part of one’s arsenal as any physical weapons and jutsu. I am also an Inuzuka with Kashikoi who fights alongside me. Kashikoi is not one to be underestimated either. We have trained to fight together. Using a combination of my bloodline skills along with ninjutsu, taijutsu and even genjutsu are all weapons to use against the enemy. Kashikoi is a very skilled fighter as well. We would fight these two Shinobi with everything that we have.

12) You have been intercepted on a mission with a Missing Ninja, explain how you would resolve the situation and your reason behind that?

The missing ninja could very well jeopardize the success of the mission. This is a situation that must be dealt with carefully. A missing ninja is someone who has left the village and has no plans of returning. As such they are considered to be outlaws by the village. Realistically one needs to be aware of the fact that trying to encourage a missing ninja to come quietly and return to a village that they abandoned probably would not work. There is a very likely possibility that they would need to be captured and detained. A communication should be sent back to the village about the missing ninja’s location so that they can be picked up. If the missing ninja escapes then the last location should be reported so that ANBU can pick up the trail. The mission would still need to be completed and unless orders are received to pursue the missing ninja, then the given mission would be continued. The success of the mission depends on making up for the time lost when they encountered the missing ninja.

13) Please explain the leadership skills you should promote to the team that you are assigned?

Trust, loyalty and integrity are the skills I would want to promote. The team that I am assigned should know that I will have their back. I am loyal to those who show that they have integrity and can be trusted to work with the team for the success of the mission. A teammate who abandons their comrades cannot be trusted. Those who abandon their friends are worse than scum. A team must be able to work together as a single unit. For that to happen the team has to trust each other.

14) What do you think is key to being a good leader and explain the reasoning behind this?

Being a good leader means connecting to those who you are leading. This means listening to the feedback from the rest of the team. It does not mean giving orders and setting yourself above the rest of the team. A leader is not arrogant and bossy. A good leader encourages and respects others. A good leader values each member of the team. Even when mistakes are made a good leader looks for ways to improve the performance. They do not tear down and humiliate others.

15) What do you consider is key to the position of Chunin and why?

A chunin should have an ability to lead others in any situation. A leader though is still a part of a team. They should be able to work well with others. The leader must be the one who prepares the plan of action that will ensure that the mission is successful. Many missions are dangerous and rarely go as planned. The chunin must be one who can be relied on to do their part in the mission before them.

16) You have to cross a bridge that is destroyed and must make a direct crossing, how do you do this and why?

The fact that a bridge has been destroyed means that a route is no longer available for trade or travel. I think that it would be good to take the time to build a new bridge. Even a basic bridge can be built that will allow travel to resume. If I have the time I would organize a work crew to rebuild the bridge. This will bring benefit to others by reopening a route of travel.

17) What education would you change if required to teach and why?

I would try and make sure that all students learn from each class. I think that students need to understand the value of teamwork and loyalty. Missions succeed due to the effort of the team to work together and carry out their assignments successfully.

18) What skill set do you think makes you stand out and unique from other Shinobi?

I am of the Inuzuka bloodline with Kashikoi by my side. I also have the strength and abilities of my Jinchuriki. I have trained hard to hone my ninjutsu, taijutsu and genjutsu. I believe that a shinobi never stops training and learning. My ability to read a situation and strategically choose actions helps to give me an edge and stay several steps ahead of my opponent.

19) What was your toughest challenge to overcome and why?

After being on my own for so long I would say the toughest challenge for me to overcome was to accept being part of a family again. It was hard for us when we went to our classes at the Academy to see other students being picked up by their parents or family members. I was jealous and sometimes I would act out. We had no one to welcome us home or say that they were proud of us. It was just me and Kashikoi. My heart closed off to other humans. I didn’t want to feel the pain of jealousy and loneliness. Eventually I found acceptance from a surprising source and this source welcomed me into their family group. It was not a family by blood, but instead a family based in mutual trust and respect. This is why for me trust is so important. It is earned and not something that I take lightly.

20) What do you think is key to having a successful team and why?

I think that the key to having a successful team is Trust. One has to be able to trust one’s teammates to have their back. A teammate who runs away from the team and leaves their teammates to their own devices is not a member who can be trusted. The success of any mission depends on trust and communication between the members. The team must be led by someone who can organize a strategy and then communicate that strategy to the other team members in a way that everyone understands.

Karasu waited patiently in the class. She made sure to be extremely silent because the rules on the board said to be, plus it was an automatic fail if anything was said. She was not going to blow her chance on the exam just for talking. No that could wait till the exam is over. She was relatively confident on written exams. She was sorta of a bookworm, always keeping notes on various things just in case there was anything important to note down. She hoped all her studying paid off. She did have a telegraphic memory but she also liked her notes because she was pretty tidy. She didn’t like anything to go unturned. Still she was a bit nervous with her stomach feeling like she had butterflies floating around. She wanted to do well and went over in her mind what questions might be asked. She wasn’t sure if the questions she thought of were going to be asked but she just wanted to be very prepared.

So far no one else came to the exam. She looked at Hinata then to Jirou wondering if they had any nerves like she did. She wouldn’t be surprised if they did as well. This was a big moment for all of them. They all have been waiting for a while to get this chance. Karasu thought about her mum and how proud she would be of her actually getting a chance to become a Chuunin. A smile crept on her face. It felt like she could feel her mum’s spirit with her guiding her. She finally looked to the Fourth Hokage who seemed to be ready to start the exam. Karasu listened intently not wanting to miss one word of what Takeshi was going to say. He mentioned that this was the first part of two exams. This one being the theory based while the next was practical. Karasu nodded as she listened. They were expected to answer all required questions and were going to be timed. Karasu also nodded understanding what Takeshi was saying. Once he was finished talking he handed each of them a piece of paper that was placed face down. Karasu was not even tempted to peek. She would read when Takeshi gave the signal to start. Just then he said to start and that they had one hour and forty five minutes.

Karasu picked up the paper and turned it over to reveal the questions. She knew many would start right away but she had the habit of looking thoroughly over all the questions before actually starting the writing process. She eyed key questions and felt she was ready to start. She grabbed the pencil and was about to start writing when she remembered the broken tip. She also remembered that all of the seats that had pencils on them were broken. She could easily use her pencil sharpener but she had a feeling that there was a reason why all of the tips were broken. They probably wanted to see if they could find a Shinobi way of sharpening the pencil or using their skills to find a resourceful way. Of course she could be over thinking, but just in case Karasu decided that she would not use the convenient pencil sharpener.

Remembering her chakra control lessons Karasu made a hand sign then with her finger focused the chakra toward the tip of the pencil. Using the Wind Slash technique with a very controlled measure to make sure she didn’t overpower the tip, which would destroy the pencil. Karasu saw strips of the wood chipping away easily and now saw a nicely sharpened pencil ready to use. Karasu smiled and started on the questions. Her mind reading over the questions before thinking it over carefully. Once she knew how she was going to answer she would furiously start to write her answers down. She never looked up because she was so focused on the exam. It would do no good to seek out how the others were doing if she ended up failing. She had faith in them and knew that each of them would do their best. If all ends well they will all advance to the second part of the exam and hopefully from there become Chuunin.

[1) Why do you feel prepared to step up to the rank of Chunin -

I feel I am prepared to step up and ready for the challenge because I am a person that likes to initiate things and be a leader. Never one to stand aside without giving my all. I always lend a hand and naturally analyze a situation so it benefits the entire team. I would put my life on the line for the village and lead to defend wholeheartedly.

10) Ignore questions two till ten and carry on from there - Continue to Q11

11) There are two Shinobi in front of you, you only have one Kunai you must defeat both Shinobi explain how you would achieve this? -

A Kunai isn’t a Shinobi’s only weapon. Having a strong understanding of your environment, also being resourceful and also intellect to use the situation to your advantage. Ninjutsu could be used to target both Shinobi or even Genjutsu with illusions creating a distraction and misdirecting their attacks from myself to each other.

12) You have been intercepted on a mission with a Missing Ninja, explain how you would resolve the situation and your reason behind that? -

The mission is the first priority so I must proceed cautiously. I would talk with them and tell them that it is in their best interest to come along quietly and without incident giving them courtesy. Missing Nin are considered outlaws due to them abandoning the village. They most likely wouldn’t return. If they do then I can contact the village to send some ANBU to receive them. That doesn’t always work but the option is out there. If not able to bring them in peacefully I would use my headset to call for help with teammates. Then I would try and bring them in by force, hopefully to capture them. Then by the time my teammates arrive I can contact the village immediately to send ANBU to return them to the village and carry on the mission once they are away with ANBU. If the Missing Nin got away then I would continue on the mission and not pursue. I would report what happened to the Hokage right away with the last location so ANBU can track them. Either way I couldn’t drop the mission to go after the Missing Nin unless ordered to do so but could detain them until help arrives before returning to the mission.

13) Please explain the leadership skills you should promote to the team that you are assigned? -

Earning trust and showing high integrity, earning respect through my actions. leading by example is something I would promote. Showing that each team member not only that I’m responsible for them but I have faith in all of them and I would put my life on the line for each of them. The team is number one and how we accomplish things will be together. No lone wolves in a pack. Having a good plan in place that allows everyone’s skills to be used to benefit the mission. Showing that I am capable of understanding the responsibility that is expected of me.

14) What do you think is key to being a good leader and explain the reasoning behind this? -

The key is that your team must be able to rely on you. If they feel you are lacking it will create division in the team. Division leads to failure on missions and it reflects on the leader. Leading by example and understanding that respect is earned not given. Another key is to listen to others because communication is important. Always learning from one’s mistakes is another vital key. Learning from failures is a way to improve. A leader must lead by example and never act superior to others. A leader earns their position with respect and integrity along with their skill, which in turn normally reflects upon the teammates.

15) What do you consider is key to the position of Chunin and why? -

Being able to lead a group in various situations including missions that entail a lot of danger. Understanding what entails for each mission and being well prepared and having a plan in place for each team member so that everyone understands their responsibility including the team leader. To be able to think outside the box when the situation calls for it. Being able to communicate with your team and show them respect.

16) You have to cross a bridge that is destroyed and must make a direct crossing, how do you do this and why? -

I can always water walk across the water to get to the other side if there was no time for other solutions. If time is not an issue then a little hard work would do some good. Using the trees and other resources around I would build the bridge and even ask if others would like to help to gain rapport within the community. It would take longer but this also means that everyone can cross the bridge once it's done. Something that can benefit everyone including those who want to trade

17) What education would you change if required to teach and why? -

I don’t know if I would change anything other than making sure students are fully prepared for the next step in their Shinobi careers. That would include mock battles and understanding how to control their chakra. Also the importance of teamwork and making sure they know the responsibility that Shinobi have in the village.

18) What skill set do you think makes you stand out and unique from other Shinobi? -

I don’t know if I am unique but I do have some Jutsu under my arsenal that can assist me well. I am of Santaru descent which means I can use Storm Jutsu to aid me. I can also do Genjutsu which will allow me to be effective with illusions. I also have a Kinjutsu that allows me to play with time. It may allow me to get an advantage on opponents. I am very resourceful and like to strategize in situations to be able to gain advantage. I make sure I continue to learn and keep growing to further my potential.

19) What was your toughest challenge to overcome and why? -

My toughest challenge was when I was younger. Living from village to village being attacked for having abilities that many feared. My challenge was learning to accept myself as well as those around me. It was a horrible existence but I was able to overcome the obstacles that myself and others had placed in the way by learning to trust again. The bonds that I have made freed me from the bonds that shackled me. Now I see with clearer eyes and understanding as well as believing in myself.

20) What do you think is key to having a successful team and why? -

As I said above that trust was something I learned with myself. It is also something that one must do with others. A team can’t move forward if they don’t their other teammates. They will be going off on dangerous missions and each member must do their duty and be rest assured that their teammates are doing the same. For the sake of the team, the village and the mission. When everyone has the same mind going forward then there is nothing that can tear them apart. As a Leader it would be my responsibility to create the trust and be an example. When the team sees that their leader has their back they will have the leaders back and everyone on the team. Trust is more valuable than most think. With trust the success rate for teams is much higher than those that have no trust. Having a sound strategic plan but also being resourceful if the mission does not go as planned. Having strong communication amongst the team is also another key to having a successful team.

He knew he had to try his best, he picked up the Pencile and using wood style manipulation, He shortened the pencil so it was plenty sharp. Flipping over the page for the test as he got down to do the exam questions.

1) Why do you feel prepared to step up to the rank fo Chunin I Feel ready for the Exam Because of My friends, Cause of them I feel more confidant to challenge myself. I want to take on new responsibilities and challenges to better myself and do the best I can to help the village prosper. As a Shinobi as well I should;t be scared of new things, or I could possibly die, So as the conclusion I feel like I am prepared to step up as a ninja so I can help the village that taken me in prosper. Do my very best to make everyone in the village feel safe and happy.

10) Ignore questions two till ten and carry on from there Continue to question 11

11) There is two Shinobi in front of you, you only have one Kunai you must defeat both Shinobi explain how you would achieve this?
A Kunai isn't the only tool a ninja has in the possession, I could do this in numerous ways. Using a Active Camo to hide as I use the Kunai to slit both of their throats so they can't scream for help and die from blood loss. There are never just one way one can achieve the same result tho, the key is to use the correct one in the situation and not hesitate about it.

12) You have been intercepted on a mission with a Missing Ninja, explain how you would resolve the situation and your reason behind that?
Well the mission takes Priority, I would try to explain to them, however knowing they might not listen due to Missing Ninja's being Outlaws. I would use calm reasoning to try and make them leave. Knowing they might not want to return to the village I might use that to persuade them, Even throw in a couple Lies saying that I am not alone on the mission, that He would find it in his best interest to leave before he gets captured.

13) Please explain the leadership skills you should promote to the team that you are assigned?

I have never taken on a position of leadership before but the one skill I know everyone should follow by is to never abandon your friends. You should never leave a teammate to die to complete the mission. Another would be the fact that not all of the team can be in the same position, I would teach proper conduct of roles within a team so they know, Having good unity is nice and all but they might be teamed up on a mission with someone they dislike in the future, so having a good understanding of these ideas is good. To never leave your team and To know your place during the mission as no one ninja has an important role, it is when everyone works together when a mission prospers.

14) What do you think is key to being a good leader and explain the reasoning behind this?

The Key to being a good leader is to know when to recognize Fault. Knowing that your not just worrying about yourself but there to guide your team mates along as well. They were put in your hands and you have to make sure they make it out alive. A Leader is not someone who can just do what they want, they have to have good communication and thinking skills to devise a plan for a mission and explain it best to the possibility to their team mates. To let them know you can Rely on you and you can rely on them, working at one efficient unit rather then a group of random people.

15) What do you consider is key to the position of Chunin and why?

To take Up a role of Leadership, To delve into more dangerous Missions and take on more responsibilities. To think of plans carefully for the team and to show considerable effort in leading a team, making sure the team members what to do during a mission, having a deep understanding of what each member can do and understand. Knowing what each situation calls for and able to communicate well.
As well take up an active role within the village. To do various good deeds around the village and help it prosper. Not everything is about Missions but also the People's safety and state of mine is important too, Stopping to help someone is just as important than any mission.

16) You have to cross a bridge that is destroyed and must make a direct crossing, how do you do this and why?

If that was the case I would use wood style Ninjutsu to repair the bridge, Doing so wouldn't waste much time if your in a hurry. As well as Repairing the bridge would also help the community so they may use it again. Doing so not just I benefit from the repaired Bridge but everyone who used to use it as well.

17) What education would you change if required to teach and why?

I Wouldn't change much besides having the students understand the basics of being a ninja, Learning more precise chakra control methods, Finding a way to make each student understand the topic in their own way so they can keep up with the others. Making sure they are prepared for the next stage of the Ninja Career. Knowing what to teach is good as these students would be the next generation of Ninja and thus Should be taught to the full potential they can reach.

18) What skill set do you think makes you stand out and unique from other Shinobi?

I wouldn't call myself Unique like I am better than everyone else but I am an Uchiha, Having access to Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, Tho I wouldn't be one to just rely on that, I have a Compete understanding of all basic elemental Ninjutsu, Even having a diverse range of Advanced elements ranging from Wood to Shadow, To Vapor and Poison. I would be a Ninjutsu Specialist tho I won't Proclaim myself as such.

19) What was your toughest challenge to overcome and why?

The Toughest challenge I had to overcome was coming to terms with everyone I cared about, Being killed, Seeing my mother and father died before me, But if that didn't happen I wouldn't have branched out and become a Ninja in the first place. It was a long journey to overcome my rage and anger towards the ones who killed my parents. I have now overcome that, I don't have an ounce of doubt in my heart I did the right thing, My anger clouded my judgment and was hard to overcome. That is the toughest challenge I had to overcome. I know I am ready to advance to chuunin cause I have not a bit of doubt that I overcame that challenge.

20) What do you think is key to having a successful team and why?

As I Have said previously, A team can prosper with Trust and respect. Having a good understanding of each member's role and a team can prosper. To not leave a teammate behind, TO prioritize the mission over the lives of your team Having them know the priorities of what a good team makes and what each member is capable of, and what role they would be a good fit in. But as I said before to never betray their team. The enemy is scum but those who would abandon their friends are worst than Scum. That is what I think a successful team is, to never let your friends Die, to complete the mission and Help eachother.

Takeshi waited for each of them to finish, glancing over the results for a few minutes he began to read the exam answers that they had handed to him. He knew full well that they had taken as he shuffled back in his seat slightly at the desk not saying a word to any of them he began to open the first paper completed, this exam seemed to be done by Jirou. He had encountered the boy for a brief period of time beforehand as he looked at him before going back to the paper. Takeshi leaned back in his chair slightly as every now and then he would give a grunt or an acceptance of the answer that was coming his way. It seemed that he was going to be approving of the answers that he was given.

"Well with these answers I am going to give you a pass, you have been approved to enter into the practical part of the Chunin exam. As per this result please bring this certification of passed with you to the exam, you will be given instructions when you get there. The exam will be held inside the Forest of Death, make your way to the outskirt of the Forest and wait for the examiner to show up."

With that, he continued to write on the certificate that was given to him and allowed the paper to be pushed towards the front of the desk signaling that Jirou had passed and was eligible to move onto the next stage. Grabbing the next one up it seemed that it was another one of the newer members of the village though she had been a serving Genin for some time recently. Grabbing the paper from the girl this time he took it back to his desk, as he put his boots back up on the teacher's desk and begun to read it. His eyes scanning over each of the lines that had been answered as he tried to get a decent idea of what it was the girl was looking for in her life. Sighing slightly to himself as well as he scanned over the answers for those few minutes.

"Karasu, same goes for you. The answers you have given are perfect and show the hard work you have put into the future, with that in mind I am happy to go ahead and approve you to move onto the practical stage of the exam, again this certificate is proof that you have passed the exam, please take this with you to the Forest to show the next examiner to move onto the next stage."

Finally, he took Hinata's paper as well, it seemed that he was going to have to make sure that the questions were done on all of them, though it seemed that he had been mistaken about this group so far, each of them had managed to prove himself wrong so far, it was time to check the answers for this Genin as well, it was strange to see so many of them wanting to move up, but these exams hadn't come in that often so right now he knew for a fact that it shouldn't have been a surprise just how many students answered him.

"Hinata for you it's a pass as well it seems that you have all managed to pass the first part of the exam, the second part is where things become a bit more challenging. So it will be interesting to again come and grab your certificate when you get to the front and then head to the forest of death. You will find your examiner waiting for you remember failure to provide one of the valid certificates will result in failure."

With that, he placed the three certificates on the desk to prove that each of them had passed the theory part of the exam and were all approved to move onto the practical part. With that, Takeshi stood up from the desk and nodded towards each of the examinees before leaving the room leaving them there with their thoughts.

Jirou waited quietly for the results of his exam. He couldn’t even remember a time when he had been so nervous. He had done his best and he hoped that it would be enough to move forward to the second part. As he watched Takeshi start grading their exams he couldn’t help but wonder what he thought of his answers and if they were the answers that he was looking for. The test was not one that had simply right or wrong answers. This was a test that made one think and called on one to dig deeply into themselves to find the answer that was right for them. That was what he had done as he now awaited the verdict in the form of his grade.

When the Lord Fourth finally spoke and said that he had in fact passed, it was only then that Jirou smiled widely. He was elated to have passed and he listened to the instructions telling them where to report with the certificate he was to be given. Jirou stood up and walked to the front to collect his certificate from the Lord Fourth, “Thank you Lord Fourth. We will report to the Forest of Death right away.” Taking the certificate in his hands he added to Kashikoi, “We did it boy. We still need to complete the second part of the exam. So let’s get going.” Kashikoi yipped and started after Jirou.

Jirou gave a thumbs up to Karasu and Hinata when he heard they had passed as well. As he started from the room he added, “I am not so sure that luck is what we will need. We will need to show that we have the skills needed to become chunin. I hope that we all make it through the next part. I have heard that some have died taking the chunin exams. I hope that none of us die. Anyway time to head over to the Forest of Death.” His destiny awaited and he walked to face the second part of the chunin exam bravely.

Karasu waited for Takeshi to look over the written exam. She was fiddling with her fingers hoping that her answers were sufficient. The butterflies in her stomach were flapping furiously as she waited. In her mind she was thinking about all the questions and her answers, going over them wondering if she should have said more or something different. She knew it didn’t matter anyway since she turned in the paper and it was now going to be looked over by the Fourth Hokage.

Jirou was up first. She gave her friend the thumbs up as Takeshi went to give him the results of his written exam. He gave a grunt which made Karasu unsure if that meant Jirou passed. When Takeshi spoke he told Jirou he had passed. She smiled at Jirou but looked on worryingly as it was her turn to get the results of her exam. She started to twist her long white hair in a nervous fashion. ‘Please Please Please let me pass.’ she thought to herself.

Takeshi looked at the young Genin and passed her. It seems here answers were good enough to move forward. She smiled and gave a sigh of relief. “Thank you” she said then waited for Hinata’s results. After looking over the Uchiha’s exam Takeshi passed him too. She gave Hinata the thumbs up as well. They all passed! Takeshi told them that the more challenging part is next the practical exam and that they needed to come up and get their certificate before proceeding to the Forest of Death. Karasu got up from her desk and walked to the front of the room to get her theory certificate. She looked at both Jirou and Hinata and said “Congrats both of you. I will see you both in the Forest of Death. Good luck to all of us. Here is hoping that we all make it through and pass!” she said with a happy and excited tone to her voice. She then walked out of the classroom on her way to the practical exam.
