Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The windows had been blacked out with paint. The entire studio apartment had been stripped bare of everything, all of it stored in a scroll that was tossed into the trash outside. Every single inch of space inside of the room was covered in strange glyphs of both the old and new languages. It was amazing to see how far humans had come with what they called “ninjutsu” and how easily it could craft with the old magics.
Standing in the center of the room was a very old man. He seemed to have aged nearly a hundred years just in setting the ritual up. Every third rune of the seal was rewritten and filled with the Ancient Essence to empower it. By the time the ex-scientist filled the three-hundredth and twenty third rune he had become exhausted both mentally and physically. The human soul he used, his human soul, kept his form tied together but he felt it starting to come apart. He could have avoided much of this if he had just simply gathered the soul essence needed to cast the Old spell, but it would have required far too many lives for him to go unnoticed. His entire game was about subtlety and gathering power before making a single calculated move. If he had any chance of returning to the public eye as his former self then he would need to return as a familiar persona. He had youth, there wasn’t a constant aura of evil, and his hair had been blonde - though in fairness if the seal screwed up his hair in even an iota it would still be quite his old self. He was always changing his hair style.
Despite his aged appearance the strength of his powers was starting to show on staggering levels. He had no doubt that some after effects of his energy was giving the surrounding tenants nightmares and if he poured any more power into the ritual it would probably kill a few of the weaker willed ones.
Tama’s hands wrote sigils of energy in the air around him as he turned counter clockwise. He spoke in an old language that seemed to make the walls bend inwards a little as if his little apartment was going to implode. He stopped after spinning six times and reached out to ‘poke’ the glyph in the center of a sigil. The marks came to life and began to slither inside of the circle the Ancient was standing on. The powerful works of Old Magic and New fused together in crafting a seal onto the Ryuu’s chest in the same place his old clan mark had been. As each of the three-hundred and twenty-three runes filled into their places on his chest his body began to age in reverse. His skin grew tight, his hair darkened with a black color, and muscles filled his flesh sack where there had only been hanging skin. A little beard and mustache sprung up on his face as the wrinkles around his eyes smoothed out into the appearance of a twenty three year old male. The last seal locked into placed and an audible locking click echoed throughout the entire apartment complex.

The ex-scientist dropped to his hands and knees as his dark hair cascaded over his large shoulders. He breathed in a deep breath and let out a loud racking cough that turned him over on his side in pain. With a few shallow breaths the Ancient managed to catch his breath and began to regulate the organs in his body to working. He opened his eyes and they were once again blue and green as opposed to the moonlit yellow they had become. He raised a hand up to his face and felt the youthful skin and chuckled a little madly at how well the technique had gone. It had taken him the entire day but he had finally managed to place on a believable disguise that would get him through most check points unless his entire body was to be searched. Even then the seal he had used was so old he could probably call it an intricate tattoo that looked like a ninja seal because he was just into irony like that.
Slowly the ex-scientist gathered himself up to his feet and limped over to the wall at the far right end and pushed on it. A panel finally came loose and it opened up to reveal a simple black box with a simple locking seal keeping it closed. He removed the box and left the panel open while moving back to the center. He ran his finger down the center of the seal. The power of the elements, or nature chakra if you will, flowed through his body like blood through a mortal vein. When he touched the seal the power flowing through his skin was enough to burn away the paper tag and pop open the little black box. From inside he removed a single scroll and tossed the heavy end out into the air to unroll the item quickly. He placed his hand on a part of the seal inscribed inside and a large cloud of smoke “poofed” out and materialized the neatly black colored folded clothing sealed inside the writing.

An hour later Tama was inside the medical facility wearing his new clothing. He had his credentials checked out and was looking to talk to one of the people who was in charge of the meeting he was just kind of swept into one day. He had already pulled a few shifts before his turn into the other side but it was minor work. The ex-scientist was now moving into step one of his plan and that was to start working in the morgue so that he could start experimenting and learning each and every layer to the suddenly tangible mass known as the human spirit. To do this he had to first let someone know that he was ready to take on slightly more serious work. He even had some ideas that he could float out that might instantly land him in the position he needed...it all depended on how badly they needed help.
