• Wears a blue overcoat, with white gloves on his hands with strange insignia on them. The origins of which is known only to him.
• Wears a gold chain around his neck, this has a special meaning to him as it was the last thing given to him by his best friend Shiro before he died.
• Has scars all over his upper and lower body from continuous skirmishes fought.
• Despite the fact he has black eyes, he almost always wears black glasses over his face because of the kikai in his body. (The kikai are found EVERYWHERE in the body, and seeing them crawl through someone's eyes can be unnerving.)
• His body sometimes fluxuates as masses of kikai travel through a specific area (causing his arm to bulge for a brief second, etc)

• Kabuta is a prankster by heart, and to this day he still takes great joy in it.

• Although he was born of the Nirokihara family, he grew up as one of the Minamoto clans greatest friends and allies, and was allowed to take the clan name after the Nirokihara clan died out with his brother and mother's death.

All you need to know is that he served his time in the skirmishes, and he has scars all over his body to show it. He is what people like to call, "An outspoken warrior." He's not what you'd expect a soldier to be, and even less what you'd expect an ANBU black-ops to be. Kabuta's father died during a bandit raid, and his mother and brother died when he was a young Genin and growing up with a young Kappatsu Taro and Hikaru Shiro, who were his best friends. Kazamatsuri Sho and him never really got to hang out or learn about one another, but they both had classes together and were still friends. Once Taro had taken the Minamoto clan name, and established the Minamoto clan as they had been destined to do. There had been three clans in the beginning, but it wasn't until Taro that the Minamoto truly became great.

Kabuta was a prankster as a child, but he rose to become a great soldier and ANBU. He fought alongside many people and earned many scars that now adorn his body... When he retired from the army, he focused on being an ANBU, and above all else he valued protecting the village above all else. That was his destiny, and that was his duty both as an ANBU and as a Minamoto.​
