The walls were beginning to crumble, the cracks like webs covered the face of the wall beyond which would be their salvation. Magentica's inhumanity apparent, she meant to bury them, along with every other village alive. Metal support seemed to shriek as Magnetica bent the frames. Hunks of earth, boulders and sand rained on the Throne of Bone. All hope was not entirely lost, nearly living supports held the walls and stopped the room from being flooded by a sea of sand and debris. The Sennin's paths secured the walls or beams, temporarily holding back the collapse of the final escape route for the denizens of the hidden village during its final days. A falling boulder held upright by the student's iron marionette. The shinobi gathered here were Suna's last hope and their resources were quickly being depleted trying to salvage the dying community.
"Leave us lady, this one has challenged us by trespassing on our lands. Take your man and be free... we thank you for changing no matter what reason you have given Suna hope once more, as for you I believe your leader said unless I was willing to walk over the corpses of my villagers I could not have any of you. Well far too many are dead and I have stepped over the fallen to face all of you so you might join them in death. So ask yourself what is stronger the cornered dog or the enraged tiger?"
It would be discourteous to look a gifted tiger-man in the mouth. This was no more her battle than it was her place to save the tertiary world from hunger, disease or strife. Maybe if it was fun. The fun stopped a long time ago, perhaps Homura was a spoilsport. Well, he
was but sadly she liked that about him. She was going to take this out, perhaps she was a coward and when the battle was not slated in her favor she would have fled even as a avatar for the Cabal's whim.
Homura shook himself free, there was barely a moment between cognition and action. There was also his hindside pressed against her as he tried to push her back.
"I can take the mongrel," Naganisa protested. It was her pride that was assaulted with his presence and his refusal. He always made his power seem like a burden rather than a gift, a livelihood. She was madwoman, at least she had an excuse, unlike that mutt. She wanted to hurt him, hurt him in the ways that made her
tingle.
"Let's go love, remember the plan?"
The plan, yes...
the plan. The canine could take these two easily enough, and the errant Kazekage might put up a fight if there is anything left after Magnetica gets a hold of him.
"Yes, the plan... brilliant." She muttered sarcastically. He was right, it was best to flee now so that they could fight another day. She let out a disenchanted sigh, she would submit for now. Without his weight, she could easily make the tunnel even if the walls gave way despite their supports. She tried to grab his hand, his collar, his belt-loop, whatever she could grab hold of. The dick would probably try to stay and fight because it would be te honorable thing to do. No honor today buddy, today we are getting out.

"You do not have the authority, you are nothing more than a mouser. Dogs chase cats... some devour them whole." Urufu responded. A
cat really? A brazen declaration, but they would soon see which would be the victor. The ring on his right hand spun about on the axis of his phalange before he closed his hand into a fist and let blood drip down his arm. His features would change but they would not be dissimilar to the visage he has always displayed. Battle worn and scarred, his mane was thicker and his incisors longer... sharper, the better to bite with. His nails more like talons, black and thick , the better to rip and tear with. His eyes, nothing more than glowing slits amid a mass of near black fur.
Collateral damage, that would be the path that was about to be destroyed. They were making their way towards his ally, Magnetica. The challenge was near laughable with their combined strengths but he had no desire to share the fate of this ruined community. This was the glory of the hunt.
