Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.
Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.
Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.
The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.
Hello, it's been a long time and I feel like getting back into the RP business. I suppose being inactive prevents me from seeing my stuff, so I don't know too many details of the stats and whatnot of my old character. I believe when I left (or Yasha Sojobo was deactivated), he was Amekage. Alternatively, Rain may have been gone and then I was some role in Leaf. Well Leaf is gone too now (or at least, part of an NPC country) so whatever works I'll deal with (be it missing or part of something else). I'd just like access to my character back please and thank you!
Edit: It might also be worth mentioning I had about 12million yen in the vault (all of which is gone) and I can't figure out how to check if any of my items still exist.

It's strange that you have a banner but you do not have a character profile... Have you transitioned on to this forum? If not, you'll get this package with creating your character. Any idea if you want to go to Stone or Mercenary with Toshiro? Or make a new character in either of those factions, Sand or Cloud?

I quit shortly after making Toshiro or something along those lines. I can understand if my 12 million yen disappears and if I have no items due to site errors, I accept that as a fault of going inactive for an extended period of time, but I'd like my old character Yasha Sojobo back. At least, some sort of link to the profile I used to have so I can start working on revamping it. Since I barely ever RP'd as Toshiro, I'd rather not go anything with him at all.

Advanced Shop Points, or ASP, will act as a distribution towards your statistics and reflect upon your ranking. For further information on utilizing your ASP can be located Here and Here as training is a bit different than how it once was.
One last item of importance, Leaf no longer exists as a playable character and all characters from the village are opted towards Mercenary (Missing Nin without being wanted) and are capable of joining other villages if this does not fit your particular taste.
@Aika: During the sites initial recreation we gave out banners upon filling out the transition information, nothing more than that.
I'm confused, why have I lost my PL and ASP (assuming that stands for Advanced Shop Points, which I created)? I guess it's not the end of the world, but I'm just confused as to why that is the case. There should at least be some post on this forum with my stuff in it. At least a training or something.
Anyways, as I have said before, I am not so much interested in my stats and items and jutsu and whatever else (even though it does suck losing it all) as I am interested in my profile containing all the details of my character. If that has been lost too, I have to ask what are the other 25 posts I have on this forum then?

Upon arriving to the new site a post was required for Council and Development Team members to adhere to.
Upon arriving to the new site Councils began to rework areas and change settings as they saw fit for the site change; yourself posting within said council area.
I have can not view any records of having a profile placed within the forum, training wasn't reimplemented until after your inactivity. Your leaving taking place later October 2012. To reiterate upon your lost statistics, they were never regained as the refunding period took place after you left and the only portion available to you is the linked above.
Haha gotcha, so I did it just right so I would get totally screwed over. All good though, not really your fault, thanks for explaining. So I guess I'll wait on an Admin to tell me if my profile exists anywhere so I can at least recover the information about my character. If not that, I'll have to go back to the drawing board.
Edit: LINK - And I assume that this post, which clearly states I have 3600 PL and Rikudo Sennin won't really matter here?
I was curious about that myself, but I am not able to make said call due to the announcement causing potential implications. The Administration and Missing Council are the ones within this jurisdiction at the point in time. I'll be taking my leave and glad I was able to shed some light upon the situation.

Re-Birth Card - 425 Points
Grants the user the ability to perform 1 free retire/re-birth.
Reboot Card - 500 Points
The user has their profile and yen recorded for later retrieval and may begin as a new character. This means 5 in each stat and starting yen. They may, at any point, undo this process and get their old PL/yen/items back. Upon undoing this reboot any PL/yen gained while in the rebooted character may be transferred as normal to the un-rebooted character minus any normal OCR penalties depending upon their rebirth type. If they OCR and do not wish to un-reboot, they may do so. Undoing the process does not require another purchase. Attempting to use this to gain double rewards for any event will result in a ban.
Discovery of Contract of Random Choice - 600 Points
The user is guaranteed to find a contract when they do their contract search. They must travel to an area where a contract can be found and RP out obtaining the contract (and such may still face failure from an RP standpoint). A roll with the possible contracts in the given area would be done and you would be automatically granted one of the possible choices in the zone, including Youkai/Kami. This may not be returned. May be purchased once or twice, depending on the number of contracts already held. Cannot obtain the same contract twice. There will be a 1 month wait time between each purchase.

This requires the ownership of 2 contracts. If a user has 2 contracts, they are able to "create" a new contract by taking from their 2 contracts the various representatives and creating their own. For example ownership of the Frog and the Bird Contract - the user may create [insert contract name]. The user would swap out the contract representatives at each level with their chosen representative. Then the user would re-flavor the contract and submit their final result to the Contract Moderator Team for the sake of papertrailing.
You may not separately use the two contract species used to create the custom contract.
You may not combine any custom contract with another contract.
Character Specific
Selections from this category are attached to the character they are purchased for. If they are battle-related and the character is retired and later unretired, they will still apply to the unretired character.
1 Additional CRPJ - 10 Points
A player can purchase [1] additional CRPJ for the character for their choosing. CRPJs must still be approved by Council. May purchase this multiple times per character (PC or NPC), and must specify for which character.
Extra Equipment Slot - 35 points
Grants a player an extra equipment slot. Maximum slots a player can have naturally is 5. Maximum number of slots a player can achieve through additional items (such as event items, abilities or Advanced Shop points) is 10. May be purchased twice.
Free Minor Element - 50 Points
The user is granted a free minor in an element of their choosing (Fire, Earth, Water, Wind, Lightning, Non-Elemental) OR a free Sensory Knowledge of their choosing (Kinetic, Visual, Audial, Will). May be purchased twice.
Weapons Galore - 70 Points
The user is granted the ability to make one additional weapon. May be purchased multiple times.

The user is granted an additional Elemental Affinity Slot. May be purchased unlimited times.
Half the Time Card - 500 Points
The run times of the user will be permanently cut in half. May be purchased 1 time for permanent use with all run times. When using Half the Time Cards, it must be listed in the run time post with link to approval. Might I suggest you get with a buddy and plan your spending of ASP carefully and create a solid papertrail.
Okay, so I do get my character back? I guess I'll take your advice on having someone help me spend my ASP, but to finish this topic off, do I have to do that here and now, or do they just go into my profile and I can use them in training or whatever?
As for moving forward, set me to Missing since my original village is gone, and I'll work out IC whether or not to join another village.

I've gone ahead and created a profile, training, and dojo topic. Let me know when you decide on a proper amount of ASP. Obviously this is hard, because on one hand you have to set a standard for this type of situation, but on the other hand you have someone who lost a ton of jutsu (I was working my way towards owning half of what existed on NC), 12 million yen, and somewhere around 600+ ASP. I completely understand if you end up giving me a small amount, because honestly there's no way to verify it, and anyone could come in claiming large sums with no verification.
So questions I will be asking are:
1. Do I get to keep all my Rikudo Sennin abilities? I'm assuming I'll lose all my jutsu masteries too, but at the very least can I keep the Rikudo Sennin jutsu? I remember those being super expensive. But equally important was the fact that I had all six paths for my Rikudo Sennin, each equipped with their own BL/CA and a set of abilities. I can rework them, especially since I don't have any reference to my previous profile or stuff, but would I need to do the whole application process for each path, which involves a lengthy RP (where I somehow explain that I already had the path in the first place) and then have to wait 3 weeks in between each one? It's more of this OOC stuff that bothers me, rather than losing the money or the jutsu. I don't mind getting the BL/CA and abilities approved, and I don't mind rewriting the history/explanation for how they were created if that's what is necessary.
2. Do I get to keep my Youkai contract? It was kind of super impossible to obtain in the first place.
3. For abilities, it looks to me like they don't exist in the shop anymore. Does this mean that abilities are free, you just need to apply for them in the Dojo? To go along with this question, do I also lose my Medical Knowledge, Shadow Tactics, and Shinobi 101 abilities (I used to have all three)?
4. Can I start RPing now?
Edit: In the interest of time, I would like to post my history. A few notes, first. This history is made up of all things that happened IC while I was RPing on NC. At no point did I just make one of these events up. That said, the advent of V6 changed a lot in terms of continuity. To my understanding, V6 happened right around the creation/fall of Amegakure. Thus, much of this stuff still happened in the current version. That said, I want to avoid stepping on toes and as such I am posting my history. If anyone needs to approve it (be it Stone Council for the Konoha parts, or whoever else) I will accept that. If you want names or places changed, just let me know. I'm not trying to be difficult, I am trying to work with you.
Also realize that I'm working on this history from my memory. Since no profile of my old character could be recovered, the only document I found was my 11k word Demonic Ancestry application. Other than that, I got nothing so I'm literally pulling all of this from my brain. I apologize if the details might seem shotty, I will (over time) work to improve upon this greatly, probably filling in some new stuff to make it more complete.
Character History
Early Life: Sojobo wanted to help people as a child, and at a young age learned he was a demon from a powerful bloodline. He swore to do good, and not fit the stereotype, and as such he became a Med-Nin of Konohagakure.
Sunagakure Visit: Sent off on a mission, Sojobo went to an allied shinobi village. However, things took a turn when a Konoha ninja arrived and bombed the Kage Tower. As it turns out, this was a ninja who had left the Leaf and gone rogue. Sojobo was ordered to stay in this village and try to maintain relations while investigating the matters. He was left there for about a year with no communication. Eventually, he decided it was time to go home as no response came. Upon arriving at the gates, a corrupt ANBU Sennin took offense to Sojobo's year-long absence, and exiled him. This drove Sojobo into a new stage of his life.
Senkaku: Sojobo developed a split personality disorder. This alter ego, Senkaku, was straightforward and very indulgent in pleasure. Senkaku traveled the world, as Sojobo hid deeper within his own mind to escape his sadness. He encountered a ghost of which he grew affection for, and begun a friendship with a ninja named Oishi Yogi. At the time, he could not have expected where this friendship would lead.
The Dark Side: Somewhere in his travels, Sojobo learned something new about himself. He had visited nearly every major shinobi village and decided to complete his journey. Before he made it, however, something strange happened. He met himself. It was then that he learned that he had developed the Rinnegan a long time ago, and a mentor who also shared the eyes had found him. This man claimed to be part of the Seven Swordsman, and would train Sojobo. However, as part of the deal, Sojobo would take over a body of a man he killed. Thus, being two separate people, the swordsman would inscribe a seal upon him that would separate the two bodies. He was literally living years of his life as two different people without even knowing. This explained the split personality disorder, and upon regaining this control and willpower, he understood himself. He was not a single entity anymore, but a consciousness that drifted among vessels. It was years before this awakening happened. When it did, it was because his mentor died. Sojobo, blames himself for his death, as he was unable to help in the most crucial moment. He likely won't talk about it, but nobody besides himself even knows that it happened. This body of Sojobo's became the new Fire Swordsman of the Seven.
The Summit: In Sojobo's visit to the final major shinobi village, he met with Oishi Yogi again. Here they hatched a plan to start a new shinobi state, where democracy would rule and shinobi would work FOR the people, not control them. They determined a location for it, and decided to call it Amegakure, the village hidden in the Rain. It was to be the new hope for everyone in this horrible world of shinobi, or so they believed.
Konohagakure: Sojobo was eventually pardoned by the Hokage, Kami. It was revealed that a corrupt Sennin banished him in the first place, and thus he was never truly gone. He was offered a spot back in Konoha's ranks, and he accepted it then. He knew, deep down, that he would eventually leave and start Rain. But for then, he was back home. It wasn't enough for him. He was dissatisfied with how things had changed. His old friends were gone, as is the shinobi way. He didn't recognize the place, or himself.
A Separate State: Sojobo had adopted a student, almost as a son. In reality, him and Sekai (his ghost girlfriend) could never actually have children. This son, Uchiha Izura, was a prodigy. He was who Sojobo hoped would succeed him in the future. Eventually, the day came and they fled Konoha, going rogue. Sojobo brought Izura with him, and ensured his safe escape (as they were almost stopped at the gates). They went to Amegakure, where Gun had erected towers of rock from the Earth. Here they laid the seeds for the foundation of their new village. It grew in popularity fast, and the day came.
The Election: They held an election, for Amekage. This was unheard of in other states. Sojobo won. He was the first Amekage. Unbeknownst to everyone, he would be the last.
The End of Amegakure: (I'm missing some history here, like the Izura incident, I'll have to remember it over time.) When the day came, Sojobo seemed to be prepared. It's as if he knew the fall was coming, and was just keeping things together so that people could remain calm. In a final act he used his Rikudo Sennin paths to seal up the Three Fountain Palace, the seat of the government in Amegakure, so that it could be retained for the future. It was a beautifully crafted masterpiece of a structure that combined a twisted trio of Gun's stone towers with the futuristic architecture of Amegakure's finest workers. More than that, it was a symbol of what could have been. This was a major failure for Sojobo, and perhaps the most crushing of all things that happened to him. Amegakure is now a shell of what it used to be, hidden so well (and so forgotten) that nobody even remembers how to get there. Nobody except for Sojobo, that is.
Present Day: Sojobo awakens in the ruins of Konoha, considering himself a failure in all respects. Exiled from his home village, he swore to protect it from the outside. Then, he founded Amegakure, and failed to protect it as its leader. In depression, he goes absent-minded and allows Konoha to fall into civil war. What's left can't even be considered Konohagakure. He had two villages, and failed to protect either one of them. As one of the strongest shinobi who ever lived, Sojobo feels that he is the worst kind of failure.

Edit 4: Apparently I like edits. I've taken out references to any other village in my history besides Konoha and Amegakure. Since Amegakure basically doesn't exist in this version, I assume it's cool for me to do whatever I want with it. I've taken some advice and decided that it would be best to try to exclude Amegakure from the world as much as possible. As such, it exists now as a shell of what it used to be, containing some people but largely being a non-functioning village with almost no occupants. It is so well hidden in the Rain, and so forgotten, that nobody can find it anymore (except for Sojobo). I will be needing Stone Council approval for involvement with Leaf, yes?
Anything involving Rain would have to go through Plot for approval, for the record.
This is not V5, V5.1 or V5.5, this is an entirely new continuity and plot has final say on all countries which are not active.

1A: You do not retain your bodies. If you wish to return as a Rikudo Sennin, you'll need to RP for them
2: This will be up to Shinrya Kitsune -- Who is the current Contract Head.
3: Yes, abilities are free. Since you are S Rank, you gain 11 abilities. Still gotta RP to activate them.
3A: Shinobi 101 is considered a free slot.
3B: You may have 1 free Branch ability depending on what branch you join. You may have multiple branch abilities, but they will take up an ability slot (like any other ability)
NOTE: Keep in mind, you have to be of a branch in order to use jutsus above C Rank in that branch.
4: Not quite yet. You need to finish your transition and then you can start RPing.
