Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Drip drip drip.

The sound of water beginning to fall from the edges of the trash around him.

It was beginning to rain.

The haze of the atmosphere rolling in a cold grey hushed roar as the intensity of the weather could be felt drawing near.

He looked around.

The crimson glow of the cyborg's eyes scanning the area around him.

He was surrounded by seemingly discarded materials and objects.

"Where?"

Behind his crimson pupils, a cascading array of 0's and 1's flew continuously. A screen would pop up, alerting him to the objects being seen as his gaze moved over them. Many broken and damaged objects were unrecognizable, some things were assigned their proper designations, however, after completing a 360 view of his immediate surroundings, the location data designated him as in a 'junkyard'.

The hush of the oncoming downpour was slowly becoming a dull roar as the rain could be heard encroaching upon the cyborg's location. It would need to seek shelter soon as it was still naked and sitting within it's freshly opened container, a black obelisk.

"Clothing?"

The moment the word escaped it's mouth, the container began to expel steam once more, allowing for several hidden compartments to expand. The panels of the black container expelled several wired cables that began to insert themselves into various ports on the cyborg's naked body. After several seconds, the wires and panels would begin to retract unto himself. A screen would pop up within it's crimson gaze.

The black panels would bend and warp, shifting their shape and color slightly. The once white hair on the cyborg's scalp began to grow with a more textured, locked pattern, and the once crimson glow of it's eyes began to shine bright white.

He stood there, now clad in a black with red pin stripped suit, and white glowing eyes.

"More information needed."

Looking to the sky, the newly transformed cyborg scanned the clouds. After determining the direction of the wind and the oncoming rain, the cyborg looked to the opposite direction and began to walk. There was not exact destination programed, however, the cyborg understood that it could not remain in it's present location.

It walked.

As the cyborg traversed the darkened and empty trash lands, the low roar of the oncoming rain crackled behind it's synthetic skin signaling the further evolution of the downpour. It was that intensity which sparked a sign of alert within the figure.

"Better shelter required."

It turned to look at the now oncoming storm. Alert markers popping up in that direction. Warnings of high winds and various debris, enough to set off it's sensors.

"Strong winds inclement. Hastening search."

He began to run. The motors and gears housed within the synthetic casing shaped as legs whirred and hummed as the cyborgs pace increased. Walking became an awkward job, which soon became an awkwardly static run. Proper human form had not been used, but the result was an impressive feat of speed all the same. Stiff but swiftly moving, the cyborg quickly scanned it's surroundings as it went. None of the various trash piles and mountains of debris would serve as a suitable shelter.

Until there was a shack.

An oddly rusted, worn down metal, 1 person shack. It's panels were comprised of scrap sheet metal and there was a singular, metal encased light fixture hanging from the side of it's roof, brightly lighting everything in the area.

The shack was empty and the logic was simple.

"Shelter located."

He made it's way into the one man shack. Just room enough for a singular person to check passerbys as they would make their way into the junkyard. Unattended now, possibly due to the encroaching storm, this would make enough shelter for the cyborg to continue to defrag and understand it's surroundings away from the violence of nature.

"System Diagnostic. Run."

It was sitting on a stool when those words were uttered. Then it sat still for several minutes, unmoving, unblinking. Simply staring straight ahead.

Several minutes later, the pounding of water droplets to the glass windows could once again be heard. The self-scan seemed to be complete.

"Last diagnostic was X years ago."

"System, Run: Last Main Objective"

A screen popped up within the white glowing eyes.

[Objectives: To be Completed In Any Order:
1: Maintain Life Cycle.
2: Expand Capabilities
3: [Locked]
4: [Locked] ]

"Maintain Life Cycle?" Muttering to himself as the glowing white eyes moved to look outward. Now evolved into a fully realized storm. Gusts of dust and debris could be seen flying through the air around the lonely lit shack.

Looking forward, he would read the second objective in the same monotone as he'd done the first.

"Expand capabilities...?" He would look down at his hand and multiple panels of system tips began to pop up.

"Upgrades required. System, scan area for compatible augmentation. Entering low power search mode."

The glow in his eyes went from bright white, to dim. His head tilted down as if he were slightly asleep. To any onlookers it would seem as though a well dressed man had fallen asleep inside of this small shack.

The storm would pass overhead as his sensors scanned the area passively. Collecting data, he may need for the future, this cyborg was just getting a feel for it's new life.
