Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It had been a few days since the student tournament had ended and still the uncertainty around his loss weighed with heavy burden on his mind. It was true that he had understood and knew of Yaboi's strategy, even understanding how to counter it and yet he didn't bother to do so. Raising his hand upwards, his fingertips would dance between the rays of light that managed to pierce the forest canopy above him. His eyes were entranced as his thoughts continued to flow through his mind, some being discarded by better thinking while others only solidfying their influence over him. Diverting his eyes away from the light and his hand, Kouza's pupils would rest upon his blade which was positioned upright against a large boulder. It would be a narrowing of his eyes that seemed to veil himself within a cocoon of second guessing thoughts. He was still quite young and his inexperience with the facts of the world had created a unique environment where he was able to define it all for himself, even if doing so caused him to make bad decisions. This is why he wondered if he had done proper by accepting that blade and entering the tournament with something he had yet to master.

"Why...why...why"

That seemed to always be the defining question towards himself after he had done what had to be done, was why. It began to make sense to him that the very notion of questioning his decisions must of meant that there was self-doubt in his actions, a thought that shook him slightly. Raising his body up and throwing both legs over the large tree branch which he had been reclined on, Kouza's eyes solely stared at his blade. It was possible that he had been looking at this completely wrong and that if he was to be that stepping stone than why settle for just being a simple rock. Landing on the ground with a slight squat to brace the impact, Kouza would walk up to his large weapon and place a hand along it's handle.

"The larger the stone, the less he'll have to contend with...so I have to evolve as he does."

Picking up the blade, he'd press it's blunt side against his shoulder noting the weight on his muscles was becoming far more lenient. Turning back to the tree's trunk, his eyes looked at the deep lacerations along the trunk's bark while tightening his grip. That was what he would have to do, become a stepping stone that varied depending on the path he took. This would mean Kouza himself would have to stop being mundane and put everything he had into being the perfect shadow.

"Never again"

"Nightingale Style..."

His stance had gone low, the other fragments of his blade scattered around the area as his smallest sword was pulled towards him by chakra. Grasping the hilt of the short cleaver like blade, Kouza would make a few test swing with his ear twitching at the light hum produced by the weapon. It was quite a challenge learning to fully utilize this fragment as he had studied it for some time, learning that depending on how he swung the blade an audible tone would be produced. While he still had quite a lot of growth to do, Kouza had become a quick study and an even quicker learner when it came to application of new skills. What this meant when it came to handling the Surasshu or slashing fragment was that he could also manipulate his chakra's wind nature to produce various sound waves. This was because of the holes dotting the weapon's blade body and it had caused Kouza to learn using jutsu that worked well with the blade and would be something unique to it's use.

"Sonic Destabilizer"

Rotating the handle quickly, Kouza's body shot fowards at the large tree closets to his position. Bracing his leg muscles as his body prepared for a sudden lunge, the fingers of his free hand weaved a series of handseals. Manipulating the wind around his body, Kouza channeled wind currents to flow along his weapon pattering it's movements. Quite rapidly the wind would build up such speed that the act of flowing through the weapon's boreholes harmonized a pitched tone similar to a very high pitched scream. As he swung the dagger like sword in a diagonal, downward arc the sound waves produced would fire a cresent blade of chakra infused sound waves that had enough condensed wind to gash open hard materials like wood and metal. This blade of chakra would bite into the bark of the tree and easily gauge out a great gash of the trunk. Landing back from the target of his attack, Kouza's eyes would focus on his Surasshu..

"...Hmm..."

"Ugh.."

His eyesight momentarily would blur, his vision splitting everything into twos and inducing a slight feeling of vertigo which brought Kouza to a knee. Instinctively grasping his forehead with his free palm, he'd try to weather the feeling coursing through his body. After a few seconds to recover himself to some degree, he would become aware of a wet feeling against his forehead and moving his palm away would be somewhat shocked to see various size spots of blood pooled against his hand. Ripping off a piece of his sleeve, Kouza quickly moved to wrap the hand in the makeshift bandage before sitting on the grass, an expression of frustration and determination intermixed upon his face.

"The frequency is all wrong and my body still isn't strong enough to handle the backlash of the wind chakra..."

Ignoring the small tinges of throbbing pain that originated from the hand wound, he'd for a moment in time give in to his bodies desire to rest from today's training. True enough he had come some way but between the complexity of not only molding chakra but also shaping it through his weapon with precision, there was still quite the long way to go. Leaning back slightly, Kouza would hold up his fragment blade and stare at it as the sunlight which made it through the canopy danced through the small holes along the blade part of the sword.

"What should I call you...Akaiittou and Tetsuyama have names that represent their qualities...."

Turning the blade over with a horizontal rotation, Kouza spent a few minutes aimlessly brainstorming such a name before a slight breeze flowed through the area. The wind once ran through the small holes which were rotating would make a rather suprising tune that was neither musical yet obnoxious. Instead the audible sound was just that, a low volume noise but it was enough to give him an idea.

"Shuhasu...The Frequency Blade. Well maybe just Shuhasu...fitting.."
