Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

In the Underprison, housed some of the most deadly or powerful inmates. By some type or will, they are allowed to live but will never see the light of day ever again. Chakra collars and shackles all bound these inmates, making it impossible to use chakra even in the simplest of sense. But even so... Many have found ways to compensate for that, building up their muscles and brute forcing their way up the hierarchy of this place. But for others... Cunning is useful here.

One such man has cemented himself high up in the lawlessness of the Underprison, one that wants to talk to a specific person in the outside world. A man with a lanky type of build was escorted into a pure white room with a single chair in the middle. He wore the same type of prison clothes as everyone else, and he seemed very unimposing, almost insignificant even, but the security detail around him made a different, quiet

statement. Blinding lights would fill the room, leaving no shadows present. For this man was known as Nara Kazeno. The man that led the revolution against the Cloud Ninja.

One of the walls had a window, supposedly for people to interview the prisoner. It was set up so that everything that is said between the two can be heard by the other as if there was no wall or window. Kazeno would normally never get any visitors, but this is an exception, as he now has information that he wants to impart onto the recipient.

She had been invited by name. Not by Yuna, the Raikage, or any other Sennin, but an inmate within their prison system. It felt strange to be so incredibly respected, to have such duties continued to be laid down at her feet despite the time away. It spoke levels to Rei as to the dire straights the world had fallen to if the Kumogakure military needed the help of a women as frail as she had become. Yet, ever dutiful, the ex-sennin took upon herself a modicum of her old duties and, even in this, answered the call. Who know what the man had to say, or what information he was withholding. After all, a rebellion from within had happened not very long ago and it was ever a possibility that another could be brewing.

It seemed like only a few weeks but in truth it was just shy a handful of months away from being an entire year since her rescue. True to fame, the green-haired “Wilds Witch,” as the students had started naming her, stepped right into the dimly lit interrogation chamber where she stood opposite of the glass containing the prisoner. She was wearing a labcoat, a black short-cropped sleveless top, grey sweatpants, and sports shoes. Covering her ruby irises were a pair of purple mirror shades that she took off and placed atop her head. Rei quickly found a folding chair and got comfortable while studying the man in custody.

He seemed…benign. The chakra collar that shut off his power would have given her some means to relax if it wasn’t for a number of facts that roamed about in her head. Size restraints, power restraints, faulty locking mechanisms, fairly easy to tamper with if a single guard decided to go rogue…there was a number of things that collar could fail to do for many reasons. She even had precedent for the last worry. The man’s cleanliness and calm demeanor did anything but put Rei at ease. Most disturbing to her was that smile. The greenthumb had seen that grin before…the image of a being fully in control of their environment.

So, what had he to gain here? What did Kumo need from him to organize such a interrogation? Rei waited for answers…
