Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Rain.

This sort of weather wasn’t all too common in Konohagakure, there hadn’t been much of an indication that the weather was going to turn after the pleasant and bright few days that had just passed. Daisuke didn’t mind though, as he walked through the streets of the village hidden in the leaves, rain seemed to calm something within him – water had that effect on him in general. Most citizens stayed indoors on a day like today, and those who had to go outside sought shelter under the occasional canopy that occupied the space above the entrance to a shop. Daisuke seemed to be the only one sticking to the centre of the paths that laced through the village, with every step he could feel the droplets of rain finding their way through his now saturated hair and onto his scalp. But again, he didn’t mind. He didn’t even mind when a few drops gathered together and rolled down his forehead and into the creases around his eyes and nose. He simply blinked them away, no need for any extra energy usage.

The walk wasn’t too far, nothing was particularly far away from anything. The flower shop was on the way to his destination. He picked out four white and healthy lilies and paid for them without bother, his form dripped with residual rainwater the entire time. His brief moment indoors was not enough to dry him, and as he exited the shop his form blended back in seamlessly to the onslaught of water that poured down over Konoha.

There was little evidence to suggest that there had been any disruption this far into the village, and for the sake of image it had been all but forgotten. But Daisuke didn’t forget, how could he? Friends always meant so much, and since that day Daisuke considered himself to be without friends or companions – that part of him was gone, the attachments dead in more ways than one. He continued his journey onwards, images of that part of his life looping over and over in his mind.

His final step left him ankle deep in a cold puddle, but he was beyond caring at this point. His eyes glanced up to the gleaming tower, a relatively recent reconstruction in comparison to the general area of the Oak district. A shallow breath left his lips as the will to sigh faded from his mind, despite the rain they still felt dry, but Daisuke was sure he was only imagining it.

The Minamoto boy took a moment to stare upwards before his gaze drifted back down towards the mud at his feet. He knelt and placed the flowers on the floor, resting them just up against the wall. He paused and took a sharp breath through his nose and closed his eyes. The rain ran down his face once again, streaming down to his chin and then to the ground. Daisuke remained there for about thirty seconds before standing again, he wiped his eyes and turned away – a blank expression upon his face once more as he walked.

“I haven’t forgotten.”
