Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The vixen watched Riyota's reactions, she couldn't resist smiling as he kissed her hand; how he was quick to try making amends to non-existent slights, how he stumbled over his tongue trying to keep up with her formal dialect. "Oho? My, how careless of me..." Azusa teased, enjoying Riyota's reaction to her apparent 'inattentiveness' as he struggled to maintain 'proper' appearances. His reply all but narrowed down her earlier suspicion, letting her know all she needed about her gorgeous little knight. He was just shy and innocent to her advances...But that just made the vixen all the more eager to take that innocence and abuse it as she saw fit.

"'Anything', you say?" The kitsune woman's lips curled into a chill-inducing smirk of smugness. Did he not understand Azusa? She was selfish. And this was an open invitation! Azusa being Azusa, by offering her 'anything'...

...It was only natural for the fox priestess to interpret it as 'everything'.

Before revealing more of her intent, she pulled herself away from Riyota, scanning the classroom while putting on the act of being in deep consideration. Of course, she knew what she was after from the start...But still, she enjoyed seeing Riyota's obliviousness, and wanted to see how long it took for it to 'click'. She reached out towards an empty desk, testing its stability...or lack-thereof, as it would turn out. It easily shifted whenever any weight was applied...and it seemed the others were not much better off either. (Let it never be said Aikayume Azusa lacks patience...)...Really, Riyota could not have chosen a poorer location if he tried.

"Then, to start with; so long as we are within this room, there will be no more speaking of Akkuma or fighting." The fox finally spoke up after accepting the room (with no small aversion), refusing to speak about topics she deemed 'disgusting'. "As far as I am concerned the only two things that exist within here are me..." She laid her palm against her chest "...and you." She reached out to place her palm against Riyota's. "Do try to amuse me" Throughout this, her emerald eyes were unwavering in their stare; patiently watching, but intently waiting for the moment the gears clicked into place within her little knight's mind ...and the no doubt adorable expression that would follow.

No longer being able to mask her excitement, the five tails began to sway once again behind her; an ominous omen if ever there was one. "Have I made my intent clear yet, my dear protector?" She continued, just as her foot moved to lock behind the heel of his foot. And she pushed her hand on his chest. Gently at first, but quickly applying more force...and more...and more...and more...
...Until either Riyota was pressed against a wall, lost his balance, or had made an attempt at stopping her.

But if she was not stopped...
...Then she would not stop.
!
The fox attacks! If not stopped, then consider it a 'Fade to black' scene...and Riyota's probably going to feel like he needs an adult later.

Even Riyota couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as the fox paced around the room. Placing weight on the various rickety desks for seemingly no reason. Then it clicked. 'She's not saying it outright but she's trying to show me how much she hates this area that I chose.' An expression of mild panic crossed the Shinobi's face. 'Why am I so stupid? Of course she hates this area! It's full of dust and dirt! Stupid, Stupid, Stupid!' This internal rant would halt once the fox stopped checking the room and focused her attention back on Riyota, who of course, would do the same for her.

Her first stipulation was that for now at least, talk of Akkuma, or any fighting at all, was to cease whilst they remained inside the room. That was fine for the Knight, it was exactly a topic he loved discussing. She continued on that point, and when she reached her hand out to touch his chest. He would not resist, enjoying the sensation and the closeness, as he always did. She told him to try and amuse her...Riyota couldn't fathom what she meant...Did she intend for him to start a comedy routine inside the dusty classroom.

He noticed the five blonde tails begin swaying, blowing dust left and right as they swung. 'Her intent...what does she mean?' He pondered, he felt something touch his heel as she moved closer. Before he could turn to see what it was her gentle touch received more pressure until it became more of a...

Shove

The brown haired Shinobi fell to the ground with a thud. The fox priestess lying on top of him. Perhaps the impact had knocked the final cog into place, but he finally understood her intentions. Although a crimson blush crossed his face, Riyota was still a man. And what kind of knight would he be if he prevented his queen from taking what she wanted. He kissed Azusa deeply.

Faaaaade to Blaaaaack'

The shinobi's eyes opened slowly, thus allowing him to see the aftermath of the pair's...frivolities A few collapsed desks, some scattered chairs, rips and claw marks in the walls and at least one broken window indicated that this had been a rather mobile event.

He had no idea how long he had been asleep, but he had never felt more refreshed. He felt a light weight on top of his chest still. Looking down he saw the unmistakable blonde hair and ears of Azusa, followed shortly by the rest of her naked form. Which, Ironically was covering his own nudity. From where he was lying, he couldn't tell if she was asleep or not. She was cuddling him tightly however, so he gently ran a hand across her cheek. "Queen takes Knight I guess, checkmate to you." He joked.

She was never one for lies. True to her word, everything outside the room had ceased to exist to them. Even time had been meaningless, and the windows (especially the broken one!) were dark with the blackness of night outside.

Azusa cradled her tails (curled around her) from her position atop Riyota, clutching them to her chest like a soft blanket. And of course she was atop him; would the prideful fox ever even consider resting upon some dusty floor? Absolutely not. But Riyota? Was his purpose in life not to protect her from filth? Was his body not a shield to use as she saw fit?

And oh, was there abuse. Some of it playfully kind. Some of it mean. Riyota should thank the spirits for blessing him with such an extraordinarily...durable...body capable of enduring the vixen's selfish assertiveness.

Her golden ears twitched when he spoke to her in typical Riyotaspeak. "Eheheh..." She laughed, her reply being a brush of her tongue in an almost kiss-like manner against his chest, which was much broader than she had recalled. Despite all the time that had passed, the image of Riyota as the clumsy and awkward boy had stuck to her within her mind...But very, very recent events had lead to her image of him changing.

"If you have time for jokes, then perhaps you still have more energy left in you." The priestess adjusted her gaze upwards, lazily. "....Is what I would say. But, your body is, and always has been, pleasingly durable." She had seen every scar, every sign of punishment, that had been inflicted upon his body over the years. But she had seen how his body grew to achieve new strength each time; her eyes glanced to the corner of the room where both their weapons leaned against the wall, noting that despite only having one arm to wield it with, he still used the same heavy sword. Even now, his remaining arm was toned and strong to accommodate for the wound she had inflicted...

"...I am in a good mood now; I suppose I shall grant you -one- attempt at dealing with Akkuma on your own terms." Of course, she was going to agree with him -anyways-...But her knight certainly didn't need to know that. In exchange for being able to see so many reactions and expressions from Riyota, delaying her plot against Akkuma for a short time was a trade she could tolerate. "...But if that goes wrong, I will confront him. And blood will be spilled...if not his, then my own." Azusa's goal was not just a desire for revenge; she believed it was a higher purpose she was meant to fulfill. It was not something the priestess would turn her back on so easily.

Azusa's expression changed many times as she lay there. Shifting between amusement, tiredness and something akin to curiosity as she looked over Riyota's body. Riyota himself could've lay there for eternity admiring her features. Since their first encounter he had seen her as beautiful in face, body and mind. And for him, none of those expectations had been subverted. He loved her, truly, and as they lay there he wrapped an arm around her, enjoying the closeness. Closeness he had never felt with any other.

Although not uncomfortable, he did shift his position somewhat to take weight of off his back. Their encounter had certainly been creative and although unlike most he recovered quickly from it, he was still a bit sore.

When she mentioned his remaining energy. All he could manage was a weak smile, it was true that he could repeat the activity a few more times, but the experience had left him mentally drained for the time being, and he would simply be unable to manage it.

"Thank you my lady." His response in a way was both to her granting his request on dealing with Akkuma and for his induction into the world of intimacy. "I will ensure that does not need to happen, worst comes to worst. Both me and Akkuma will lie dead when I am done." He told her. "If I can make it so that you never have to bleed again, I will be happy." He stroked her hair gently, nestling into her. "D-do you think we should get dressed? Because someone could just walk in here and see us like this..." He asked, awkwardly.

"Hmm...I suppose we should. But...I do not think I could possibly want to leave any less then I do now. Don't wanna." She stretched, arching her back and straightening out her 5 tails behind her; but otherwise made no indication she would be moving anywhere despite Riyota's comment.

"It is strange. When we were younger I was so terrified of being harmed....Yet now I do not spare it a thought. It is a horrible thought; but I do not think I would be as strong as I am now were it not for Akkuma." Both Miroku, in much different ways, had helped the kitsune priestess reach the point she was at now. She sighed at the thought.

Finally, she began making an attempt to dress herself. "I have my own preparations to make." The vixen spoke while reclaiming her attire across the room with a scowl; as hastily as they had been removed, there had been no time or desire to even arrange them properly. "Tie my sarashi around me, Riyota." The vixen requested, holding out the long strip of cloth out toward him. If he took it, she'd then raise her arms up above her head, allowing him to wrap the cloth bindings around her chest, or do so herself if he had not. "I am not cleansed of Akkuma's cursed chakra; I still bear the seal on my hand. I do not know what kind of power he has; perhaps he could control it to forcibly restrain me. Perhaps he could activate it against my will. I...I don't know. I need to find a way to purify myself; a proper shrine maiden has no need for the power of demons. I may need your help when the time comes." It concerned her.

"You have until my purification to do as you wish with Akkuma. Do this for -us- Riyota...I'm certain we have such an intimate future once we remove Akkuma. Is that acceptable, Riyota?" The Priestess spoke.

Riyota had no intention of forcing Azusa off, nor rushing to his feet himself. He was content to lie as he was, close to the one he loved. If someone walked in on the pair during this intimate time. Well, lucky them, it was quite a sight.

Eventually though, the Kitsune's modesty would return. Or perhaps she just got sick of lying on Riyota. In either case Azusa got to her feet, which prompted Riyota to do the same. He could see she was deeply troubled by the mark his father had left on her. Which made the young shinobi seethe. He could turn a blind eye to everything Akkuma had done, but that was one step to far. It pained him that there wasn't anything he could do about it yet.

He was brought back to reality by the kitsune's call to assistance, to which he quickly obliged. Still naked he stood and strode over towards her. Taking the long piece of cloth from her hand he waited for her to turn around before beginning to slowly tie it around her body. Being as gentle as he could. Azusa continued talking of all her worries concerning the curse mark inscribed on her hand. Riyota nodded along but her statements caused him to consider if his own curse seal could be a detriment to him when he fought Akkuma. The thought concerned him greatly, but he shook it from his head for now. His concerns were unimportant.

The kitsune finished talking, stating that she may require Riyota's help eventually. He bowed his head "Whenever you need me my Lady. I will always be there." He promised her in response.

Azusa continued on to tell him that he was now on a time limit to defeat his father. He had no clue how long her Purification would take, but he needed far, far more time than that. However long it was he knew he was still way off from going toe-to-toe with Akkuma. Still though, he agreed with a bow of the head. An outright lie no matter how one framed it, he had no intention of letting Akkuma anywhere near Azusa ever again.

As her final word, the Kitsune promised far more intimacy in the future without Akkuma looming over all, with a blush and a stammer, Riyota nodded. "I-I'll try not to disappoint...my lady." He bowed again, down incredibly low. Opening his eyes after a few moments. He slowly stood. "I...should probably get dressed now." He said to her, standing tall, still very...very naked.

She held her arms above her head, her tails swaying to the sides as Riyota carefully wrapped the cloth around her upper torso. The Mirokku boy had given her nothing but his full compliance in anything she asked; the kitsune had no cause to believe Riyota meant anything other than what he said to her. And yet...."....." Azusa was not sure.

The feeling she felt was most certainly 'doubt'; but Azusa could not pinpoint whether it was from her being worried about Riyota's capabilities to confront his own father...or whether asking such a thing of him was correct in the first place. She hated Akkuma; that much could never be overstated. Yet, he very much terrified her. It was her greatest desire to one day breath the air of a world no longer tarnished by his existence, but also wanted the demon to fear -her- and experience as much dread as she had gone through. Risking Riyota...

...She told herself it was a necessary act.

And of course she had no intention of sacrificing him. Riyota was -hers-...And the Priestess would accept nothing less than a complete victory over Akkuma. When he finished wrapping the sarashi around her, Azusa turned to take in one more glance of her knight; "Do as you wish. I have had my fill, for now." The fox spoke with a sly grin before reaching to put on the rest of her attire. "Akkuma aside, I may need you in the future; I need to be fully confident in myself before facing Akkuma, and I need to see how you are coping with...your injury. I cannot have you be a burden for me to carry." She spoke, only slightly harshly.

"...How did that window break?", she wondered. In the heat of the moment, her memory on the details were quite hazy....She may need to request some renovations be made here to counter the wreck she had left behind. Once dressed, she grabbed her sword before exiting the run down classrom...and her weapon wouldn't be the only thing she was carrying with her.

Tying the Sarashi had proven to be a rather difficult act for the one-armed guardian. Forcing him to resort to using his teeth as a second hand to get the silk tie around the fox and make sure it was securely knotted. Made even more difficult by his own reluctance to get his face close to...'specific areas' despite their recent closeness. It seemed Riyota's nervous tendencies would take a long time to leave. True what they say about old habits.

One the task was finished to his satisfaction he backed away and moved his arm to cover his own 'specific areas' A crimson blush appearing on his face as the Kitsune took a final glance over her guardian. Making it clear she intended to depart soon. The shinobi felt a tad awkward now that she was dressed and he was not, so he swiftly began to search for his own clothes.

Unlike Azusa whom had deposited her clothes in a neat pile Riyota's had ended up in a variety of different locations around the classroom. Hanging off of desks, chairs, lying on the floor and some draped over sconces fixed to the walls. Whatever had occurred between the two Riyota's clothes were unfortunate victims of extreme brutality. Whilst the young shinobi hunted for his clothes, having significant issues with finding his right shoe, he still made sure to listen to what Azusa was telling him. Indicating that they would be working together again in the near future. Riyota did his best to look attentive during his hunt.

Once Riyota had secured...most of his clothes, he returned for the last words of the Kitsune as she grabbed her weapons and made her way out. He wished to kiss her one last time before she was gone, but decided against it. Not wishing to push his luck any more today. Thus he watched her leave with a melancholy smile on his face. Unsure of when he would see her next, and completely oblivious as to what she was carrying for him for the near future.

"Goodnight, My Lady." He murmured softly, making it unlikely that she would hear him as she left. Just as he went to retrieve his own discarded weapon his heart seized. He froze in place, paralyzed for a moment before stumbling back. Clutching his chest, a cold sweat pouring down his face suddenly.

His hand moved to the point of his chest that the curse seal had made its home and it pulsated wickedly. Acting like a heart all on its own. "Tick...tick...tick...tock. Time's running out old friend, this clock's nearly broken. That's the problem with borrowed power, eventually you gotta return it with interest. How many years do you think you can keep up this poxy romance? Five more years? Ten if you improve your diet! You've not got much left in you after Daddy's little gift's been so nice to you. Oh, and what will Azusa think? She'll be heartbroken when she finds out you just died! Actually...maybe she'll just be disappointed that you broke, yeah, seems far more likely. Might be best to just cut her out now before something bad happens old chap, seclude yourself in the desert again, live free for your last few years!" The voice within Riyota cruelly taunted his impending demise, reminding him of the price of power, of his vastly lessened lifespan.

Riyota could only sit there leant against the wall, stuck in this internal agony and breathlessness. Closing his eyes, ignoring the words of his other self. He visualised the thing that gave him comfort. 'Azusa...I will live as long as you need me, and then I'll be gone...so you can be happy, but I won't die until you've gotten everything you need. And with that thought, the pain ceased, his heart resumed regular activities, and he shakily got back to his feet.

His time may have been running out, but a person could accomplish a lot in five years.
