It was his arm that he recognised. Once, perhaps, he would have offered to heal the appendage but from the scant information provided by his brothers and others this one seems to glory in it. This one, Maki, had asked him to leave, and had let them without conflict. The damage he had done to his nephew clearly demonstrated his prowess, but there was something off about him. A pain. One behind his eyes - a pain Migoya knew well, but used to fuel his resentment and anger. Perhaps they were far too similar for him to wish to acknowledge. Perhaps they could have, in another life, been comrades or even friends.
Crimson eyes now looked towards Maki's opponent. Haku Yuki - the wife of Takeshi and a formidable warrior in her own right. Migoya and, ironically, Mikasa had worked on healing their child from her difficult blood disorder and before Migoya was gloriously removed might have found a plausible solution. He might have had the admiration of this woman and her husband, if he hadn't been discounted and ignored. Perhaps, in another life, they could have been comrades or even friends.
The third guy? Eh. He carried the arrogant bearing of an Uchiha and therefore was going to be a knowitall pain in the arse. Or he could have been a comrade or even a friend.
But now they were sparring, or at least about to. Migoya would not interfere, it would be pointless and obtaining information was far more important than interrupting to prove a point. Part of him wished that he could have once joined them in promoting peace between the villages, alongside his brothers and clan, but he had been discounted and ignored. It still hurt.
He had known that Konoha sought a summit or the like between the Kage, and that Sand had been invited, thus he had travelled to Cloud to perhaps 'remind' them of who it was that was seeking peace. A child killer. Thus his little network had been watching and waiting for a certain group to appear. He stood now, dressed as a peasant in a simple woolen jacket to keep out the cold, his hair dyed black giving no indication as to his true and recognizable appearance, a simple wooden staff propping him up. For all intents and purposes he looked like a very interested farmer who had just happened to stumble on what would hopefully be a very interesting fight.
He even had a goat beside him.
Shinobi of Konohagakure... entertain me.
