This was a special occasion which required a brand-new traveling cloak. It wasn’t every day you were returning home to your native land after nearly a decade of being absent. It felt like yesterday to Anatsu when dropped the mask and made a run for it. He nearly made it out without a scratch. If it weren’t for that one Kunai aimed for his head which scratched his forehead protector on the way out, he actually would have made it out untouched.
Anatsu was dressed in all black, except for his beige Kasa, a Japanese traditional round hat, which covered his forehead protector and his eyes. After passing through Crater City, Anatsu’s Mangekyou Sharingang gazed at the newly built gates. It was sort of ironic, bitter sweet for him to see these freshly built gates. Anatsu remembered the old gates and how many times he had risked his life to protect him.
If these were the old gates, Anatsu would have no trouble passing through them unnoticed. However, the new gates would pass a challenge. In the midst of the might, the all black rogue ninja would have to rely on his dojutsu, stealth, and agility to penetrate the village unnoticed. Anatsu possessed incredible speed and his years of training would most certainly come in handy. His time away from the village had also increased his knowledge of ninjutsu, genjutsu, and many other shinobi tools which would make his return to Konohagakure quite unpleasant for anyone who were to cross paths with Anatsu.
The village needed a hero. Unfortunately for the village which was granted a fresh start, this wasn’t the tale of a blonde white sage making his return to the land that he protected with his Byakugan. This was the tale of a mad man.
