Ninpocho Chronicles
Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.
Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.
Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.
The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Within him there was a swirling madness. The energies of the Ancients, both Earth and Deep, and the power siphoned from the legendary Barynx, all of it had been collected within him. The different energies were brooding together like the pieces of a soup, mixing and dispersing from all of these different parts to eventually make a finished product. The product was something he did not realize nor did he plan on. It was something similar to what he had been able to do, a combination of all of his journies and experiences until now. Within him, there were seven masses of energy collected from different entities. The energy stolen from Shiori was more than just her ancient Earthen energy, each one bore a piece of her, a piece of those she had feasted upon and those who she had 'blessed'. Within his body, this would be embodied by five pools of energy.
There was the energy from Kazuki. This energy manifested within him much differently than that of Shiori. This was energy given to him, not taken, and was from a different court altogether. Much like Shiori, however, this was not just the energy of an Ancient. Unlike Shiori, the reason for this was due in large part to more of who or what Kazuki was. He was a reaper, he was half ancient and half human and his energy was a perfect mixture of imperfect proportions. This was collected into a single pool of energy within his body.
Next, there was the absorption from Barynx. The great beast, much like the other two, was unique and also similar to both Kazuki and Shiori. She was a devourer as well. Her being was more than just his own essence; she was built upon the collective energy of the consumed, which happened to be sandworms. This made her different than the other two as she was one who devoured her own kind fully. Her energy, in many ways the strongest, pooled and resided within his body as a single pool as well.
These seven unique pools of energy, not just chakra but more of a pure life essence of those who had been in contact with Roku, went through a metamorphosis through his body as he collected and stored them. He was still unsure of who or what he was, but his body worked unconsciously to either do the work that Nao had prepared it to do or the work that it was meant to do on its own anyways. There was still the mystery of how much his gifts were the design of his pseudo father Nao and how many were natural talents his body could produce on its own. Regardless of which, his body did something with those pockets of energy and restructured his entire body. His chakra system had been ravaged from the use of gates but now they had been rebuilt, redesigned and reborn as this new structure. Functioning in a similar fashion, he could release the energy of these collected life forces to height his own abilities or unleash abilities that could surpass humans, Ancients and sandworms. His evolution was reaching its apex.
But there was a final pool, one that he would not know outright as it would require him to push the boundaries of life and death. This eighth pool was a dark and raw energy that had resided within him since his beginning. Every now and then it would rear its head, manifesting to the surface. It was a primordial energy that was more of a part of Roku than any of the other collected and assimilated energy. During his life this energy appeared when he was at deaths door, whether he was being dismissed as a broken project or being ravaged by the Diamond Maelstrom, this energy would present itself and keep the body of the man alive. Keep him moving forward. Roku had wrote it off as luck or fate, but it was more than that. It was almost like another living entity. Maybe it was the raw Ancient he was fed by Nao. Maybe it was something from his birth or passed through his ancestors. Whatever it was, it was not apparent to Roku. Yet, it would make itself known once more if he was ever pushed to the point of death. This eighth energy pool, much like the Gate of Death, would not manifest until the time was absolutely right and necessary.
Roku would first become aware of the newly forged power channeling within his being and how it could be utilized during one of his nights hunting down leads on Taro;
Busting his way through the door, Roku would come to a sliding stop. Breathing heavily his eyes would lock onto the figure before him. From the Sennin, blood would be slowly running down various cuts from his face, a face that was coated in a mixture of sweat and dirt. The figure before him was an extremely muscular individual with a crazed look upon his face. There was something off with this man, which Roku had already gotten acquainted with.
"So you got up? I can see why you are interested in Taro-bro."
Hey, I thought I was the only one to call him that.
Roku would smirk as he would clench his one remaining fist.
The figure before him would begin to chuckle looking at the display before him.
"One handed man coming to a fist fight... are we trying to set up a joke?"
"Quit flattering me... now like I said before you so rudely beat me unconscious; I would like for you to tell me where Taro is at right now."
"Why do you think I know?"
A displeased look would go across Roku's face.
"You are one of the ones hoping to gain a number in the top ten. Your gift manifested in endurance and physical strength, and because of that you caught the eye of Taro. I assume you are hoping to parlay that into a lower number once it becomes known that some of the ten have been... subtracted."
"Cute."
The figure would dash forward slamming his knee into the gut of Roku, at a speed that would out pace his own. The blur, the force of the man would send him flying backwards into the wall, smashing a new hole into the building to go along with the now destroyed door. The figure, in a blur, would appear standing above Roku looking down upon him.
"Only those of the highest caliber can bless the eyes of Taro-bro. You are not that. You are weak."
"Heh, would it surprise you if I told you I was a number 6; Roku."
The man would be taken back at first before changing to a sinister smirk. His long, muscular leg would raise up into the air as chakra began to visibly collect within his heal.
"Cute... well, I call this the Guillotine Heel. Better luck in the next life, funny man."
If I could just go a little faster. If I was just a little stronger... hell, if I had both hands. I could beat this guy. Just if I had a little more. No, I had to wreck my body getting emotional about the Nao stuff. Those ancients, that big ass worm, this guy, the Sovereign. All these things strong than myself. It isn't fair. I've tasted them, I understand how their strength feels. Why can't I have that? Why am I the only always on the damn ground. Why am I the one who is cast aside? I give it my all, I give it everything and yet this is always how it ends. Me tossed to the ground and about to die. If I just had a little more....

As the foot lowered from the Sovereign soldier, Roku could see it happening as if it were in slow motion. Roku's body would rip off the ground and appear behind the man and wrap his arms around the neck of the individual. Without hesitation, and without giving the man a chance to even realize what was happening, he would snap his neck. The once promising muscular man would go limp and drop to the ground.
"This high enough caliber..."
The energy would quickly dissipate as his muscles and body would return to normal. There was something within him, and this was the start of fully discovering that. But this moment was enough to draw his attention that something was happening within him, or had happened within him. It felt similar to the feeling of releasing the gates but it was more, there was more to it this time. Soon he would discover fully that these collected pools of energy were not the only changes nor that they were the only power he could call upon. Again, this was just the first step in his own self-discovery.
