Family History
Due to a ninja war resources became low and they were not able to make offerings to the gods. Of course this lack of offerings caused them to battle once again. During this time a traveling warrior hailing from another clan, encountered the Ryujin during this troubling time. She fell in love with the head of Ryujin clan, and together the two with their combined abilities decided to protect the village from the gods. With their combined efforts the two were able to defeat and seal the gods within a special sword. Peace returned to village and with the sword in hand the two were able to continue to protect the village. To ensure the safety of the village and to make sure the sword doesn’t go out of control, the head of the Ryujin and his lover decided to leave the sword within the family, with the sword now bonded to their blood, so that the next head would be able to use it for the sake of the village.
Physical Appearance
Karasu has short yellow hair that is well kept, but very curly. His eyes are red and typically have a relaxed, heavy-lidded expression. With him being 11 years old he stands at 140.3 cm tall. He also has a rather skinny, but muscular build from his consistent training. He usually wears a long white happi with orange lining around the collar and sleeves. The back of the happi bares the two rice crop mon of the Ryujin clan. He wears his happi open like a coat over his tight fitting, long sleeve black shirt. The shirt stretches over his hands to fit like a pair of black gloves. The gloves expose his ring and pinky finger. Karasu wears shorts that are a black and a pair of black sandals that go up to his shins. Around his waist he wears an orange bandana.
Personality
Like the wind that blows through the small feudal lands of his home town, Ryugin Karasu tends to be very calm and well mannered. While being calm he is very focused on becoming the next leader of his clan. This causes him to be very reclusive, which people commonly mistake as aloof or cold. He spends most of his time either alone practicing, or reading about techniques his clan has created. His lack of interpersonal interactions, and focus on his goals makes him often come off as rude or callus. Also his deep drive in becoming the next leader of his clan makes him a perfectionist. No matter what the task is he will practice at it until he is able to get it right. Because of his perfectionism he relies very closely on himself to get things done.
Karasu prefers to stay even tempered; but once something stands in the way of his goals, he tends to become very explosive. This fire that he hides deep inside can burst out and burn those around him. Most of the things that upset him come from him being competitive, and a perfectionist. If he makes a mistake he already knowing what he did wrong, and is eager to try again to get it right. Kurasu puts so much pressure on himself to win that is causes him to be a sore loser.
