Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

    I don't like the brag but um... I am pretty freaking strong for a girl my age ya know hahaaha! I mean, I do like live in Iwagakure where being well endowed with brawn is more favorable than brains, kinda funny actually. There is like no other place in the word like it so I would say I lucked out with eating my vegetables and doing my daily push ups. Needless to say that I am no push over. When I hit my opponent's, those suckers like really feel it! I once turned a man black and blue with my bear fist.

    Dudes and dudets, I like so hit a bulls eye today! No like for reals, I punched a bull in the eye! Ok ok so I never really seen a bull in real life but if I did, I'd bet 2000 yen that I could punch it in the eye while it was in full motion and charging at me ha haa! I've been training super hard at the training grounds and boy have my precision increased. Sitting targets are easy to hit but it takes a trained eye to hit a moving target and even more skill to hit a moving targets pressure points! Oh yes, did I mention that I am a martial artist?

    I never considered myself an artist even as a marital artist... Painters have canvases that they use in order to express beauty and feeling with vibrant colors, warriors make their strokes on the battlefield using their enemies blood and bodies right? I'd consider my art to be like a warriors ya know, except my canvas is the human body, my fist is my paint brush, and the paint is the gushy stuff that I deck out of you hahaha. However, my art isn't what you call beautiful but there is an artistic look of emotion one can draw from it. Like pain and... ouch!

Healing Factor wc 144
When there was a fight or brawl you could bet your yen that Mikana came out on topt. It didn't matter consequences that followed and it really didn't matter who it was against, this girl has power of perseverance. No matter the amount of people that challenged Mikana had a nack for keeping up in long winded fights and some how managed to keep her injuries to a minimum. It was her rough nature that kept her with tough skin for these things. Mikana found herself pushing out adrenalin and even using it to fuel her in fights. It is because of this that she can give her all no matter what. Of course, it left her crazy drained in chakra after a fight. These things take there toll on everyone, some sooner than others but in the case of Mikana, it was later.

In the culture of a people to settle disputes in a fashion of brawn vs brawn in a one on one fashion, Mikana finds herself on the top of the food chain. If this was the wild wild west some would say she was the fastest hand and would probably be called quick silver Mikana. Sliver for the two pieces she carry on her sides and quick for there wasn't a word for how fast she'd draw said silver. Still, Mikana did carry a bit of steel that could resemble silver and in this world quick was a necessity and less for fancy naming.

There was always a fight or brawl around for those who could not sit still and you could bet your yen that Mikana was some where in the middle of the commotion. Poison Mastery wc 102
Mikana learned about poisons in the traditional way like most in the Stone village. Most joined the medical field and others were taught by a family member. Mikana was taught by her mother at a young age and has been working with it for more than a little while. Every weapon she carried had it's edge laced with said dangerous ink and by the slightest nick would her victims fall ill. It was the way of the shinobi, nothing personal at all. Today, Mikana works hard to strengthen the poisons properties through fun experiments, a fun recreation for her and her mother.

Jutsu Mastery wc 102
With her experience using Ninjutsu and Taijutsu, Mikana was even more and especially good at controlling her consumption of chakra and managing her chakra flow like a boss. As a child, she would often widen or lessen the sizes of jutsu at will which was evident that she was proficient in shape manipulation. This was but one of many signs pointing to her bright future as a shinobi. Over the years, Mikana's skill and knowledge and hard work only increased as to perfect what was already reaching perfection. It's not a stretch to say that she just may be the next Tsukage.

The earlier bird gets the bird but the second mouse gets the cheese... She heard this from someone somewhere but it only left Mikana questioning what happened to the first mouse??? I guess the lesson to learn was to act in order to accomplish ones goals and to act quickly before the initial opportunity vanishes like the first mouse. Now what if I told you that the early bird didn't get the worm because you read my first sentence wrong??? Yeah, that's what its like to take the initiative and read carefully. Needless to say that Mikana never fell for this joke. Just ask her father.

"Fight fight fight fight fight," where the sounds of the adolescence through out the school halls of class 2B. Students yes but not just any students... no shinobi in training students and future leaders of the Stone nation and empire. They were egging a fight on and would you believe it that yours truly, Ryujin Mikana was in the middle being push to fight big Kiosho. It was a fight of respect and honor for both participants and both had something to prove. This was it, the day where Mikana learned to fight for herself and by herself. This was Mikana's first duel... by the way she lost.

Human Anatomy wc 112
If there was one thing that Mikana had learned thanks to her dad's teachings is the art known as martial arts. But not just any form of fluid steps and practices that train ones body to perform the stories of others. No, she was taught the art of the body and how to destroy and break God's great work. Her fist and mind both were trained to break bones and to hit the bodies weak points in order to cause agonizing pain and traumatizing damage to the psyche. One would say such knowledge should be used for the betterment of man kind such as chiropractic but Mikana and her father believed... well...

Call Mikana what you will but make sure to acknowledge her as a genius while you are at the name calling. This girl has proven to be a pioneer for powerful and unique jutsu. Her creativity is unmatched and is fueled by a powerful drive to be the best. She has created over thirty-two jutsu and has mastered the art of jutsu and style. Jutsu of the future she calls it and some are ahead of it's time. More and more bragging is to come as this girl is on a roll. Mikana believes that she will one day create the one jutsu that trumps all jutsu, the one jutsu without equal... the Coup De Gras!

"When practicing this footwork in the beginning, don't worry about your hands,".she told me. "Just keep them in the regular Earth lightening position and concentrate on your footwork. Once you are accustomed to the foot movement with proper balance, learn to sweep your hand forward just before each seal.To develop speed and naturalness in your movement, adopt the following exercise in your daily training.From an on-guard position, do the forward burst without penetrating too deeply. Sweep your hand upward and leap forward without straining yourself. Quickly place your front foot down without kicking. Continue to do this motion over and over again without stopping. But make sure you keep your balance and fluidity in motion. This exercise is excellent to adapt your body to move with ease, rhythm and grace."

As I became more adaptable to the movement, I increased my speed and I worked towards shortening the distance by more and more execution. Eventually, I could substitute simple hand seals for the sweeping movement of my hand.

"The backward thrust is like the quick backward movement except that it carries your body backward quicker and deeper. From an on guard position, push the ball of your front foot to initiate the motion which straightens your front knee and shifts the weight to the rear foot. Then the front foot, without pausing from the initial motion, leaves the floor and crosses your rear foot. Just before it lands, your rear leg, with its knee bent and acting like a spring, should thrust your body with a sudden straightening of its leg. You should land on the ball of your front foot just a second before your rear foot touches the floor. That one quick motion should carry your body backward at least two steps

Learn not to hurl yourself recklessly at your partner. Instead, try to narrow the gap of space in a calm and exact manner. Keep drilling faster and faster by lunging 200 to 300 times per day. Acceleration can be increased only by discipline in your workout."

Basically I went from drawing these bad boys really quickly to saying screw all of that and so I invested my time in some weapon modifications to allow some more flexibility if ya know what I mean yo. So like now, I have a hand cuff like gantlet attached to my wrist and the other part is attached to the oh so awesome weapon I forged. It was pretty genius no doubt about it because like now when some shinobi tries to disarm me, I have this gantlet attachment that stops my weapon from being flung form my hands ha haha! Anywho this is the funny story attached to this genius invention...

My account of the origin of Mjölnir is found in Iawagakure from Arcadia, in my work shop.So like, Kyoko, my big sis bets her head with me and my other big sis Koyoko that we could never succeed in making items more beautiful than those of the witch of izalith... (In our families mythology, she was one of the deities that defeated the dragons long ago. She is the godmother of precious items for the gods forged by black flames such as the Odin's spear Gungnir,)

Koyoko and I accepted Kyoko's challenge and the two of us began working. We started working in my workshop and I put a Chuck of some strong metal material that fell from the sky years ago in the forge and told my big sis Koyoko to keep working the bellows and not to stop working it until I come and take out what I put in. That material's origin is a story in it's self. It literally fell from the sky on fire and when I touched it... it was cold. Strange but I knew someday I'd use it to create something amazing. Kyoko in disguised under transformation jutsu as a dog, comes in and starts licking Koyoko's face... Freakin gross, ack! Like for reals? Who da hell does crap like that? Freakin troll.. Nevertheless, she continued to pump the bellows stopping for nothing. She was stronger than me I would say. If it were me I'd freak za freak out trying to guard my face.. that's my money maker! Well not really but whatever, back to the short tale of awesome.

Then, I took out the space metal as It was soften and nearly liquefied. Next, I added some gold and special chakra adapting metals from ma dad's mine in the forge and told Koyoko do the same thing as before. No matter what happens, she had to keep pumping the bellows because the space metal was odd and letting it off heat for more than a minute will ruin are progress and we'd have to start from scratch... It's not like I have mountains of this stuff just laying around. Again, Kyoko crazy self, still in the guise of a dog, comes and again, licks Koyoko's neck twice as slobbery as he she could. Just as before, Koyoko valiantly continues to work the bellows despite the grossness of that licking. When I returned, I took out some chakra absorbing shards and forced my chakra in to them for nine nights...

Finally, I put some iron in the forge alone with my chakra shards and told Koyoko not to stop pumping the bellows. Damn Kyoko comes a third time and this time bites Koyoko on the but as hard as she could. Koyoko some how some way activated black flames into the bellows. It was amazing and yet terrifying. The blood runs down her eyes and forces her to stop working the bellows just long enough to wipe her eyes and gain control of the flames. It wasn't easy either. The whole shop almost causght on fire because of those black flames. She had to concentrate and pin point the ends of the flames to extinguish them before they could spread beyond the bellows. This time, when I returned, I took Mjöllnir out of the forge. The handle is shorter than I had planned and so the hammer can only be wielded with one hand. Koyoko's flames actually molded some of the fused metals and also caused a sort of reduction.

Despite the flaw in the handle, We won the bet and went to take Kyoko's head sort of speak. However, she worms her way out of the bet by pointing out that we would need to cut her neck to remove her head, but her neck was not part of the deal. As a consolation prize, Koyoko holds Kyoko down as I transform into a Lama and start liking her face Ha hhaahaaha!

It was gross to all involved but seriously she asked for it ha ha ha. She wanted to be a troll and so now she would feel what it's like to be trolled.

So like I completely calmed down from how I use to be...

My training resides at the edge of the Earth. At the corner of ruin and strife. At the intersection of alone and scared.

Here, my world ended two years ago. A massive horde of demon shinobi culled ninety-five percent of my village's population. For those fortunate souls, death was swift. Those who survived because of a will to fight were destined to a far worse fate. We fell to anarchy first, famine next, and disease last.

582 days after the first attack, I found myself the only known survivor in a village that once housed nine thousand. War and pestilence had had their way. I was numb to the acrid stench of death that once haunted me like an insufferable itch. I no longer feared finding rot beneath every shelf I turned over. To me, vile sights had become the norm.

Fate choose me at random to be a warrior against an infinite threat. Fate may have given my body a strong constitution. But fate did not choose me to be a survivor. In my village, I had been “that girl.” The one with the $75,000 underground shelter stocked with weapons and non-perishables, enough to nourish and care for me, my self, and my pathological inability to curve my need for solidtude. Call me a conspiracy theorist, or a crazed nut if ya feel like it. It's fine by because at the end of the day, I was prepared.

I wasn't prepared to bury my family. My mother, my father, my sisters... my friends. I was a broken girl when my shovel met the earth. I hardly had the strength to shovel anything with my tears so heavy they weighed me down. When I lay down the last flower on my loved one's tomb stones, I lay myself down hoping to die. But I didn't. I decided I needed something to live for. I would find five survivors to take in, maybe offer them a chance they would not have had.

For months, I had searched to wit’s end. Most I found were sick. The rest were more trouble than they were worth. I finally managed to find five. Two tried to steal, and I kicked them out. One left in the middle of the night without giving a reason. The last two eventually succumbed to illness.

I stopped searching. I became a solitary island of humanity foundering in a decaying sea. Hope was gone, relegated to nothing more than a dictionary word. During the outbreak, New Earth promised to send transport vessels for the survivors. I never believed it. Was I a carrier of the mysterious disease? If I had that question, New Earth scientists did as well.

No, there would be no rescue. I was at the edge of the Earth. Alone...

Jutsu Mastery to Martial Artist (Prerequisites: D Rank, 3 mastered Jutsu useable in the active Style.)


What I have learned is the footwork for the quick retreat or rapid backward movement is similar to the quick advance except you move in the opposite direction. From the on-guard position, move your front foot back. Your front foot, like during the quick advance, initiates the movement. Your rear foot follows a split-second later. Unless you move your rear foot before your front foot makes contact, your front foot cannot be planted properly. Unlike the quick advance, you do not have to slide any of your foot. It is just one quick motion, but your body should be in alignment and in balance. If you were to move just once, you should be at the on-guard position. But the purpose of this movement is to move your body four feet or more. The quick movement and shuffle can only be accomplished by being light on your feet. The best exercise for overcoming the force of inertia to your feet is skipping rope and shadowboxing several minutes. While exercising, you must constantly be conscious of keeping your feet "light as a feather." Eventually, you will be stepping around with natural lightness. You must move without any strain, gliding on the balls of your feet, bending your knees slightly and keeping your rear heel raised. There should be sensitivity in your footwork. Quick or relaxed footwork is a matter of proper balance. In your training, as you return to an on-guard position after each phase of maneuvers, shuffle on the balls of your feet with ease and feeling before continuing on your next maneuver. This drill enhances your skill as it simulates actual fighting. Unless there is a strategic purpose, forward and backward movements should be made with short and quick slides. Lengthy steps or maneuvers that cause your weight to shift from one foot to the other should be eliminated except when delivering a blow. At that moment, your body is imbalanced-restricting your attack or defense effectively. Crossing your feet in motion is a bad habit because it tends to unbalance you and expose your groin area. The movement should not be a series of hops or jerks. Both feet should be slithering rhythmically just above the surface of the floor like a graceful ballroom dancer. Visually, your movement should not be like a kangaroo hopping across the open plain. Instead, it should be like a stallion galloping with even, rhythmic and graceful strokes.

Mobility is heavily emphasized in fighting because two-hand combat is a matter of movements. Your application of an effective technique depends on your footwork. The speed of your footwork leads the way for fast kicks and punches. If you are slow on your feet, you will be slow with your hands and feet.

Footwork should not only be easy, relaxed and alive, it should also be firm. The traditional, classical horse stance seeks solidity in stillness. This unnecessary, strenuous stance is not functional because it is slow and awkward. when fighting, you have to move in any direction instantly.

Proper footwork contributes to hitting power and your ability to avoid punishment. Good footwork will beat any kick or punch. A moving target is definitely more difficult to hit than a stationary one. The more skillful you are with your footwork, the less you have to use your arms to block or parry kicks and punches. By moving deftly, you can elude almost any blow and prepare your fists and feet to attack.

Besides evading blows, footwork allows you to cover distance rapidly, escape out of a tight corner and conserve your energy to counter with more sting in your punch or kick. A heavy slugger with poor footwork will exhaust himself as he futilely attempts to hit his opponent.
You should be able to move rapidly in any direction so you are well-balanced to withstand blows from any angle. Your feet must always be directly under your body. The on-guard stance presents proper body balance and a natural alignment of your feet.

To advance, do not cross or hop. Instead, shuffle your feet. At the outset, you will feel clumsy and slow. As you keep practicing this movement daily, however, you will develop your speed and grace.
To do the forward shuffle, stand in the on-guard position. Slide your front foot forward about a half-step, widening the space between your feet just for a second as you slide your rear foot forward. When your rear foot is moved forward, you should be back at the original position. To advance further, repeat the process. While doing this, maintain your balance and keep your guard up. You should not be flat-footed; you should glide on the balls of your feet. Learn to move like a tightrope walker. Keep both of your knees slightly bent and relaxed. Your front foot should be flat, but do not plant it heavily on the floor. It should be light and raised intuitively about V8 of an inch. Your rear heel should almost always be raised in stillness or in motion. It is raised slightly higher than the front foot, about one-fourth or one-half of an inch. When your rear heel is raised, it facilitates switching your weight immediately to your other foot when delivering a punch. Your raised back heel allows you to react quickly and act as a spring, giving in to blows from any angle. Naturally, your heel should drop at the impact of the blow. There is no fast rule that says your heels should be constantly raised or when they should be flat. This depends on several factors. including body position and your reactions. In the advanced shuffle, you should be light on your feet and your weight should be evenly distributed, except for just a split second when you are advancing your front foot. At that instant, your weight would shift to that foot just a little. In retreating or moving backward cautiously, reverse your movement. The basis behind the backward shuffle is like the advance. From the on-guard position, slide or shuffle your rear foot backward about half a step, widening the space between your feet for just a split second as you slide your front foot backward. When the front foot is in place, you should be in the on-guard position and perfectly balanced. Unlike the advance shuffle, your weight should shift slightly to your rear foot for just an instant. To retreat further, continue to repeat the process. Learn to be light on your feet continuously, and keep your rear heel raised. The forward and backward shuffle must be made with a series of short steps to retain complete balance. This position prepares you to shift your body quickly to any direction and is perfect for attacking or defending.
