Abilities:
1.) Elementalist

Being an adept user of Water style Ninjutsus, Ryu was able to quickly become a master at manipulating the waters around him. Basic Ninjutsus were easy for the boy to cast, even without both hands. The boy learned to master many of his jutsus with only one hand as well. This kept his other hand free, and allowed to him to strengthen his styles. Yotta Ryusui slowly became a Water specialist, almost any body of water was easily manipulated by the ten year old boy. This gave him a sense of mastery over the element, and he slowly began to identify himself as an Elementalist.

2.) Summoner

Mastering his water was an easy task. Slowly the boy began to create elemental clones as well. He knew that he had a inner reservoir of unique chakra, and this strengthened his ability to create clones. He slowly began to be able to create more clones at a time, and slowly he began to master the art of creational jutsus. This made the small boy believe more in himself, and know his mother likes to tease him and call him a summoner. The boy didn't mind the name because he wanted to become a legendary summoner anyways, why not start with creating clones of himself.

3.) Conservative motion

Yotta Ryusui was a rather lazy individual. His mother was very hyper and liked to burn unnecessary energy and calories in her daily tasks. Ryu learned that, like the river, he could tear down even the mightiest of mountains in due time. He was rarely seen doing something just to be doing it. He thought out almost everything that he did and this allowed him to be able to do more with his time. The boy wasn't lazy at heart, but he knew that in a battle where you stand between life and death that every little calorie could be used, wasting them was not an option. The young boy had mastered the art of Conservative Motion.

4.) Defensive Technique

As a whole, Ryu was pretty much a pacifist. He disliked fighting, let alone hurting others. He has spent his entire life practicing Water Ninjutsu, the element of healing and life. Because of his constant training, Ryu has learned how to correctly defend himself and others. Using his jutsus as protectors more so than weapons, Ryu has mastered his Defensive Technique, and could protect himself with out losing sight of his enemy. The small boy was always sparing with his mother, and because of this he could take on strong opponents with out falling out of his defensive mindset.

5.) Economizer

Ryusui has a minor case of obsessive compulsive disorder and because of this his pack is always set perfectly so that he can always carry more. He also has equipped his pack with a unique sheath that allows the boy to carry his favorite weapon without getting in the way. He has also set aside on his pack a section to carry his large scroll. The boy is almost always with his pack, and because of this he has been able to maximize the carrying ability of his bag. Ryu has been able to reduce the space used in his pack a great deal and can now store his gear in designated sections in his pack.

6.) Tracker

Yotta Ryusui has developed a sense of tracking from living in the Hidden Mist Village his entire life. Somedays the mist is so thick that he can't even see his hand in front of his face. His eyes have adapted to the climate in such a strong way that he can see through the thickest fogs. Many consider this a unique trait of the boys, but he just sees it as being more environmentally aware. He can see what many people seem to over look and because of this he feels as if one day he would be able to use his keen eyes to assist the ANBU Black Ops in their missions.

7.) Stalker

Living in the Hidden Mist Village and having an affinity for Vapor Release ,the boy, Yotta Ryusui, has been able to disappear in plain sight quite easily. Mastering the jutsus that are in the Vapor Element, Ryu has been able to manipulate the mist in the very air around him. This trait makes Ryu feels as if this trait will also be beneficial when he applies for the ANBU program. Ryu has spent hours mastering his evasiveness techniques and he feels as if he can master the techniques presented to him if he gets the chance to join the ANBU training program.

8.) Recharge

Not only does the boy heal from Water Ninjutsu, sometimes he feels completely rejuvenated. After a while of working with his jutsus, he began to relize it was more than just water techniques that he recovered chakra from. Due to his water like physical nature, Ryu has discovered that he is extremely absorbent when it comes to chakra. His body is able to recover chakra from almost any type of jutsu. The is extremely helpful when you are raised in sparing matches with your pyromaniac of a mother. The young boy appreciates everything that his mother was able to do for him and now because he constantly challenged his mom in spars, he has mastered the art of recharging his own chakra from her attacks.

Water's Key
General Description: A long piece of wood that looks similar to a wooden needle. At the end of the wooden spear like weapon is a sharp point, most commonly used to stab the ground and hold the stave straight up. At the other end rests a large wooden ring. The diameter of the ring is approximately one foot, and it is three inches in thickness. The point of connection is wrapped in a set of ninja bandages that also wrap the handle section of the staff. The weapon its self is rather weak, but its main purpose is elemental chanelling, and thus the wood is weak.

300 Word RP:
For Ryu's entire life he was raised with a pyromaniac's, burning random stuff, cravings. He felt as if he had the capabilities to produce fire chakra like his mother, but instead he was only able to produce water. The boy experienced a tragic event in his younger life that helped him expand his chakra's abilities. When he was five years old his mother accidentally caught a blaze that covered the house in a matter of seconds. He knew basic jutsus, and by attempting to put out the flames he learned that when water was heated drastically it became steam. This changed his perspective of fire completely.

Years after his mother saved him from the tragic event, he began experimenting with his newly developed idea of fire. Instead of looking at it as an element, he opened his mind and accepted it as visible heat. By focusing in on his chakra potentials he began channeling his idea of heat into his preexisting jutsus. He started off small, just basic change of natures, but by the time the boy was ten years of age he was able to manifest stronger techniques. He pushed his two elements, water and fire, and began to develop a unique water style. Instead of the liquid state of water, Ryu was able to cast jutsus in the gaseous state.

Not to long after Ryu learned that by ten years old he had taught himself a new style of chakra. By practicing enough he was able to give his a chakra a completely different nature, neither water nor fire. He was able to create and cast Vapor Release jutsus. This was a huge improvement. This just proved that he was his mother's child, he was able to produce the heat of flame, but in the body of water.
