Name: Ryuu Yoen
Age: 18
Rank: Chuunin
Bloodline – Uchiha
Appearance: Yoen was six feet tall at the age of sixteen. Three years after finally graduating out of the Academy he had managed to undergo a good growth spurt that helped squashed old teasing about his small stature. His body was lithe and his build was for speed giving him quiet cat-like agility with his every move. He generally dresses in the "Old Ways" that the Ryuu Clan garbs themselves in. Generally loose fitting pants, a simple white undershirt tucked in, and a robe-like coat that's tied at the waist. Around his neck he had a strange tear shaped stone on the end of a string. While both the stone and string look benign as anything else they both hold extraordinary powers that not even Yoen is aware of yet. At his left side is a plain longsword, and while though most things that are "simple" in the shinobi world is mocked his ability to use it keeps most of the haters at bay.
Personality: Yoen is a romantic who's heart continuously gets broken. Rather it be the current dissapointment of the Ryuu Clan or the continuous bad taste in women, Yoen can't ever seem to catch a break. Due to living most of his teenage years like this he has become rather sullen and morbid but still holds true to his romantic self despite his outward additude. He picked up smoking at sixteen as he began to flirt more and more with death, not knowing that a great part of his terrible luck and need for danger comes from a hard-to-break curse that is placed upon everyone sharing the bloodline of the Seven Fathers of the Ryuu Clan.
History: Yoen is one of the only people who have accepted the name of Ryuu into their surname but is the only one who has without knowing his blood links him back to the founding fathers of the clan. He is every bit as true a Ryuu though in that he accepts the name without holding any blood relation to the amazing scientist turned Ancient and is more than happy to accept that as originally very few of the Ryuu Clan were actually related to one another being a nomadic clan. Tama isn’t yet aware of Yoen’s presence in Sunagakure as he is far too distracted to think to look for any surviving members of the other Seven Clans from the old era.
Yoen is one of the last few survivors of the Thunder Ryuu Clan that were basically a thieves guild that moved from city to city. They traveled with the First Men originally as captors and then as comrades before settling down with them. They quickly lost a lot of their old lore and only kept track of the fact that they were all descendants of legendary thieves.
With that in mind Yoen was raised to be quick and sneaky which made it perfect to enter him into the Academy Exam that set him on the path of being a student but also his thief training often landed him in all kinds of trouble with the teachers.
It was during the a confrontation with one of these teachers who were dead set on making an example of him did his latent Uchiha bloodline bring itself to the front. During the fight, which he still lost, he managed to nearly kill the teacher before an ANBU incapacitated him. Since then any classes he’s is placed in are closely monitored by someone of at least Chunnin rank and someone in ANBU is supposed to keep an eye on him afterwards…but more often than not he is able to slip by the attention of the low-ranking private assigned to watch him.
Three months later he graduated the Academy begins his Genin hood with a girlfriend and a dream...a dream that is constantly being shattered. Three years, four girlfriends, and a very uneventful career later he finds himself no longer really caring about...well anything. His only dream since leaving the Academy was "Find a girl, get married, have a child, continue the clan," with his shinobi career as the money making system to support his own beginnings. However, he has yet to find a girl that can stand being in his presence for more than a few months due to his rebellious attitude brought on by the constant heartbreak.
After two years of missions he was sent a letter that granted him permission to take part in that years Chunnin exams with a note on it that basically asked why he hadn't simply asked to be moved up in rank. With his sword and perfect vision the Ryuu was able to ace his exam and move up in the world as far as money went...but from there his life hasn't seemed to go anywhere else until the night he was visited by Tengokai....
