Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Adding the ability Willpower with this RP:
After a few unsuccessful larger attacks, most of which seemed to just pass through the attacking figures, the girl got frustrated and started firing at all cylinders, not caring much about whether or not she got hit as long as she herself could land a hit... But found that the figures merely avoided her as much as they could, continuing their confusion tactics but not attacking outright. What...? She stood still, and the rest of them followed, stopping and just standing there facing her. Rrgh! Are they taking it easy? On me?! Understandably angry about being looked down upon, she launched into a flurry of attacks, mixing kunai into her usual kicks and punches, dashing from one target to the next in a blind (both literally and figuratively) rage. "Haaaaaaaaaaa!" The split second she started however, so did they. But this did not deter her fists from seeking blind justice (only literally this time).

The punches and kicks continued, and she was slowly running out of stamina, but she had her little secret weapon to act as a buffer if nothing else, and continued the assault. Whenever it seemed like one had stopped in his tracks, she spotted the opportunity immediately and practically leaped at then, launching into a signature one-two combo, and just carrying on until she finally realized that while the bodies were indeed still in front of her... she wasn't feeling any of the hits connect. "Wha..." Her relentless attack ceased, her breaths heavy and muscles relaxed for the time being. What was that? She hadn't yet realized it, but her mind was starting to put the pieces together... Something she sensed, but did not feel. It definitely wasn't some kind of dense gas either, she would've been able to tell. So why...

After the genin's fifth month out in who-knows-where, she has become much more reliant on her weapons than she has ever been before. The only reason she hasn't bitten the dirt enough for it to matter to her dental health is because she has mastered the art of ukemi (of her own creation, using her bandaged arms to cushion her. It was not proper form, but she found it worked for her), and Naoki's only reprieve from the harshness of the arena is when she is either resting or practicing on her kokyuu. She discovered a little hole in the blade of her instrument through which something popped out. All she did was apply chakra to the hilt, and that something latched onto whatever was in front of it, emitting high-pitched blips that startled her before she understood its uses. Try as she might, she couldn't get it to stick on for longer than its initial time, but found that she was able to infuse it with more chakra--a negligible amount--to make it extend its time away. It continued to surprise her how many times it has saved her hide, given the arena she usually competed in was the Labyrinth. Finally, the sonic battle knife she was given by the Toraono clan. She's wielded it far more often as of late, and her bond with it strengthened to go so far as to empower her when she had it in her grip. Naoki found that she is more capable of finding ways to feint, getting her opponent to give her room to dodge. As she went to sleep, for once not reflecting on the deaths of those she's slain, she silently thanked the tools of her trade.

A person naturally gifted with their weapons are more skilled and stronger than others. Projectiles would hit with pinpoint accuracy, swords would be more capable of inflicting open wounds and hammers would strike harder than anyone's as long as they have their weapon.

Prerequisites: D-Rank

Effect: +5% Weapon Damage Modifier. +3% Suppression and/or +3% Bleeding, depending on which status the weapon is capable of inflicting. Reduces all Natural Negative Accuracy Modifiers from Custom Weapons by -1 to a minimum of 0.

Note:
- If the user created a Custom Weapon with -2 Accuracy Modifier, then it would only be -1 with this ability.

"'Come up with a gag,' she says. 'The crowd would go wild!' she said," Naoki muttered, heading out to train with the resident jugglemeister again. The bosslady instructed her to learn some new tricks, as the crowds were starting to get bored with her usual ninja business. "How'd they even get bored with it so quickly?" she said out loud, forgetting she has been using these tricks for over a year now. Given these crowds, it was really a wonder the bosslady hadn't already told her to freshen up her game, but she obeyed without question. Complaints aplenty though. The clown wasn't easy to get along with, expecting her to laugh at his every joke while simultaneously insulting her for having a dominant arm. "Gotta be prepared! What if I broke your left arm right now? Would you still be the Lady's favorite? No! No no no!" he would say, stomping his feet with each negatory. Naoki sighed. I didn't ask to be adorable! It's not my fucking fault she wanted a daughter, and yet here I am getting flak for it... She bit her tongue and kept practicing, applying what her mother taught her about writing with her right hand way back when. What was it... 'Don't think of it as the same, think of it as the opposite?' That probably applies more to weaopns than writing.

Within a couple of weeks of nothing but practice with the Pierrot of Put-Downs alongside her usual battles, Naoki was able to confidently use both her left and right hands to wield both her dagger and the battle knife. The bosslady was impressed to say the least, and Naoki gained Juggles's favor after having requested a kiss for him from the object of his affections.

Effect:
- The Dual Weapon augment does not take up an augment slot, and the user may perform the following special action;

Special Action - Flurry Guard: The user may reflexively counter an opponent's damaging Ninjutsu, Taijutsu or Puppet Attack with a Taijutsu attack made with their Dual Weapon. This directly reduces the damage of the target's jutsu equal to the damage of the user's attack.
If the enemy's Jutsu damage is reduced by half, it suffers a -2 Accuracy.
If the enemy's jutsu damage is reduced to 0, the jutsu is dispelled and the Dual Weapon's bonus attack attempts to hit for any remaining damage + half the reduced damage.
After use, requires a full round of cooldown.

The bosslady instructed her to learn some new tricks, as the crowds were starting to get bored with her usual ninja business. "How'd they even get bored with it so quickly?" she said out loud, forgetting she has been using these tricks for over a year now. Given these crowds, it was really a wonder the bosslady hadn't already told her to freshen up her game, but she obeyed without question. Complaints aplenty though. The clown wasn't easy to get along with, expecting her to laugh at his every joke while simultaneously insulting her for having a dominant arm. "Gotta be prepared! What if I broke your left arm right now? Would you still be the Lady's favorite? No! No no no!" he would say, stomping his feet with each negatory. Naoki sighed. I didn't ask to be adorable! It's not my fucking fault she wanted a daughter, and yet here I am getting flak for it... She bit her tongue and kept practicing, applying what her mother taught her about writing with her right hand way back when. What was it... 'Don't think of it as the same, think of it as the opposite?' That probably applies more to weaopns than writing.

Within a couple of weeks of nothing but practice with the Pierrot of Put-Downs alongside her usual battles, Naoki was able to confidently use both her left and right hands to wield both her dagger and the battle knife. The bosslady was impressed to say the least, and Naoki gained Juggles's favor after having requested a kiss for him from the object of his affections.

Effect:
- The Dual Weapon augment does not take up an augment slot, and the user may perform the following special action;

Special Action - Flurry Guard: The user may reflexively counter an opponent's damaging Ninjutsu, Taijutsu or Puppet Attack with a Taijutsu attack made with their Dual Weapon. This directly reduces the damage of the target's jutsu equal to the damage of the user's attack.
If the enemy's Jutsu damage is reduced by half, it suffers a -2 Accuracy.
If the enemy's jutsu damage is reduced to 0, the jutsu is dispelled and the Dual Weapon's bonus attack attempts to hit for any remaining damage + half the reduced damage.
After use, requires a full round of cooldown.
