Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

There wasn't a single soul waiting for him at the rendezvous point, instead a backpack awaited him stocked and loaded with ANBU goods. It was well hidden amongst the jagged slope of a moutain and in minutes Saizo geared his frame up in the traditional ANBU attire. Crafty deft finger movements conjured in a cloud of smoke as a blank mask customary of an AiT operative covered his face. Hidden within the rucksack was a sole scroll detailing the Crucifixion's HQ, that upon acquiring the necessary information was quickly disposed. It would be a false situation if Saizo were to deny the butterflies unrestfully floating in the tomb of his insides. He wanted to be successful in his endeavors, more than what the other scouts before him had achieved. To put it plainly, he didn't want to f$?# this up.

The terrain of cloud was rough and unforgiving, and if one didn't pay heed to focus their attention. Even a single pebble could lead to opening a road to the afterlife. Luckily for Saizo he knew his home pretty well and to be real if he didn't it would be embarrassing. Traversing the rocky earth in a difficult linear fashion, Saizo was making good time and complimenting his punctuality was the sun slowly setting over the stony horizon.

Several kilometers later, hands clammy, and sweat layering his body. He had achieved in reaching his destination Monumentom Deo, and it was instinctive the way the Kyoujouran activated one of the ANBU's greatest cloaking techniques. Dark chocolate lamps eyed the mainstream pathway below, he looked for any suspicious activity from the cover of a boulder. He noted some ordinary figures, monks and nothing to be suspicious of, but if he didn't raise suspicion of everyone, he wouldn't being doing his job correctly. His eyesight inspected and inspected, that's when he noticed a odd detail, to be specific it was a marking, a tattoo. If he wasn't mistaken monks normally don't mark their bodies, and see things like this as defilement.

Instantly his hands unlocked the snapshot jutsu. Taking in chakra signatures, appearances, and most importantly the odd celtic cross that was tattooed on their person.

Re: SCOUTTERIFIC! [C-RANK | Solo]

He followed the troupe of "monks" from his higher vantage point like a stealth jet. He was carefully avoiding any loose rocks and simultaneously trying to keep pace through the treacherous snow, which proved to be difficult despite the slower traversing tempo. He crept and crept and crept, eyes darting back and forth from the task of keeping balancing and not slipping to the task of surveillance. Their cargo wasn't appearing to be anything out of the ordinary upon intial inspection, and a lone jackass led the pack. No not that kind of jackass, but a mule. What they were currently carting was a wagon full of prayer beads and rosaries. Perhaps these were reformed monks and the tattoos were just blemished scars from a pagan past that had yet to be removed or something.

However his frame of optimistic thinking was put on halt when the monks continued onward past the monestary onto a alternate neighboring pathway. The footpath they took was a difficult path, a tight and narrow canyon. He briefly scouted for any enemy presence but felt no nearby vibrations travel through the earth. He concluded if they had guards it could draw unwanted attention. Attention that would interfere with their savage plan to devaste Kumogakure. Feeling comfortable enough to continue on, the passageway had got so close-fitting that they had came to a stop. Then everything became clear as the wagon wheels were revealed to be hollow with unknown items in them. The prayer beads and rosaries were a decoy, and a false bottom was removed to expose jars of chemicals. Sure enough the coordinates he had attained earlier of their HQ had led to a small discreet opening that climbed directly into the snowy rock formation.

The chilly cold air was getting worse as the sun finally had set, and Saizo finally was starting to feel a cold touch lightly caressing his sandpaper like skin. He figured he could remain for a good five more hours before he would call it quits.

Five Hours Later.....

It was cold as hell, and Saizo did all he could, which in his opinion was a job well done. Now it was time to head back to Sileo Tempestas for his debriefing and scouting report. In a flash the shinobi made a quick retreat heading back to clouds ANBU origin.
