As far as I can remember, I loved humanity. I never really considered myself a shinobi; being a tool for murder, a tool for war, and a tool for theft and deception. I did not care for all of that. It is my love of people that caused me to join the Medical Corps. To save the lives of others instead of taking them and to give everyone the right to live. Through diligence and long hours, I have finally ascended to the title of Medical Sennin. The most prestigious title to ever grace the title. For what right does someone have to take the life of another? Nobody has that right.

1: Bloody Mess

For it is not my fault that the damage dealt by the Celestial Star Bow is quite frightening when dealt to living beings. I did not anticipate that, for whichever is struck by the mystical power of the 'Arrows of Light'. The violence and gore. I was in the middle of a purification, when I struck a C Rank Onryo. The arrow struck the Onryo and continued forth, hitting a stray animal before plunging into the earth. The sight to see was horrendous. Blood, sinew, and innards covered the ground in red and gore. I swear, it was purely accidental. I did not mean to obliterate the animal. It was completely my fault. I should have been more aware of my surroundings. It would be a disaster if I were to have hit another human being.

2: Barrier Mastery

Along with loving the human race, I have determined that the next best way to preserve life is to protect life from complete and utter harm. This is used with barriers and walls, or whatever else I could put between the person i am trying to save and the attack. Certainly, I do not intend on putting myself between the blade and the person I intend to protect. Otherwise, how could I continue to protect the person if I die doing so? So in my research, I have devised a way to cast barriers while my weapons were equipped. Not only doing it in a more convenient fashion, but to make the barrier much more stronger. After having developed this ability, I asked my father to attempt to demolish on of my barriers, but he was too busy doing other things. So I will just say and assume that everything works as advertised.

3: Healing Factor

My brother used to read a lot of comics when he was younger and I decided to peruse one of his comics. One of his comic book heroes by the name of "Badger" from the "Z Men" had this great ability to heal himself from within. This granted him near immortality. He aged much slower than the usual human and this also allowed him to use a special set of claws from the back of his hand due to the strange metal that was wrapped around his bones. Out of boredom, I attempted this. Being a descendant of the Tsuchimikado, I had an easier time manipulating metal than most people. I placed my hand into a balled fist and out came these claws. Oh did they hurt! Afterward, I retracted the claws and my body, as if mimicking this superhero, began to quickly heal itself. Strange how your body can adapt to a comic book.

4: Weapon Mastery -- Ranged Weapons [Weapon required modified due to this and was requested in this post.]

Due to the inception and complete creation of the Celestial Star Bow, I have officially named that my official weapon of choice to hunt the Onryo. In doing this, I have also practiced with this and am now capable of shooting this with ease; assuming I am in the right state of mind. But being able to summon this weapon and having practiced and slayed many Onryo with this, using it feels like second nature. The same can be said about any bows, like my Yew Longbow that I use for typical practicing. Because, as I found out, I could easily cause living tissue to explode into a bloody mess. Which I do not want to actually do. But, Bow and Arrows is my bread and butter. I even devised new ammunition for it for more versatility while hunting these Onryo.

5: Acupuncture

I had studied acupuncture growing up, believing it to be quack medicine. The act of pressing pins in certain locations to redirect one's chakra seemed quite far-fetched to me in a medical standpoint. However, as I was watching a battle between two individuals in the arena, I noticed that the Hyuuga have a technique that blocks chakra points. So this got me to think that if blocking one's chakra could do this, what would redirecting or stimulating a chakra point do? So after this epiphany, I decided to give this a shot (no pun intended). After a little bit of research, it has proven that this acupuncture is not a quack medical science. Hmm. Now only to memorize these chakra points and to use this in a more battle oriented sense. As much as I hate battle, it will be inevitable to have to participate.

6: Called Shot

After learning the locations of these Chakra Points from acupuncture, I also decided to take time to increase my aiming. The theory behind this is that if I improve my aiming, I could ultimately end a fight without any life-threatening injuries. If I could cripple the hands or the legs of the target, making them incapable of fighting, the battle would end with no lives lost. So I decided to train this and put it into a more practical sense. Being able to completely cripple someone leads to less violence. Even though that sounds backwards in nature, completely cutting off someone's capability to injure others is the most logical course to take. I do not ever intend on taking someone's precious eyesight or become a sniper and go for the instant kill. No, that is not my intent. However, injuring someone's hands will stop them from casting seals and holding a weapon. Which, if this person is extremely violent, you have rendered them useless in battle. Now if only to purify their minds of these terrifying thoughts.

7: Human Anatomy

In order for me to aim somewhere more effectively, I had to do a lot more research into the human anatomy. Which areas can I hit that will be the most effective. Where on the hand could I shoot that will cause the nerves to never be useful again? Where can I strike someone that will not hit a large artery, causing that person to bleed out? Those are the things I needed to know in order to carefully take someone out of a battle without the result of death. After doing some more in-depth research, I have figured out not only where someone's weak points are, but ideal places to hit someone in order to get them to stop moving without death. This also helped me map out locations on people's bodies that must be hit with such precision in order to make things happen.

8: Insight

You cannot really call it a sixth-sense or anything extra sensory, but I have always had this feeling. To know the unknown. As embarrassing as it is to admit, I always knew when to not seek an audience with either of my parents due to them doing.... that. This had also helped me when I was once engaged to Rei. We had a habit of acting like 'soon-to-be' wedded lovers and also do... that. However, while doing so, I always had this strange feeling that either of my parents would walk in on us. So, as the responsible heir to the Hasegawa Clan, I put a stop to it, had us put our clothes back on, and walk outside and pretend to do something a bit more innocent. And before our very eyes, our parents returned to the Clan House. Extra Sensory Perception or just mere 'Woman's Intuition' or whatever you wish to call it, it seemed to benefit me and continues to benefit me. Though, I cannot determine motives or have super-hearing (although, having that would be really nice!)

9: Jutsu Mastery

Ugh! After doing some practice on emergency medical jutsu, it came to me that I was growing exhausted very quickly. And in the case that I do enter combat, it is not feasible for me to 'take a break' during combat. So to curb this, I decided that the most effective way to do this is to control my chakra. By doing this, I can use less chakra for the same results. After a lot of punishment to my chakra system and by doing exercises to increase my chakra system's flow, I have devised a way to spend less while doing more. It is very frugal doing it in that manner and there are also no diminishing returns! This, however, only works on the jutsu I have a firm grasp on. Which is every jutsu I know. So that's convenient.

10: Clarity

What do I hate more than summer heat, winter cold, and micro-management? Deception! It drives me up the wall thinking that people use genjutsu to screw with another person's mind. I really just do not like that idea! So, having read a good amount of the Chakra Scrolls detailing the use and effects of Genjutsu, I have a very good idea on what I am looking for when placed under one of these. I swear, I will not EVER get stuck in one of these. One of the first jutsus I learned was to quickly cancel the effects of these deceptive jutsus and to develop the Sanryoukougan to make me more "immune" to it. To think that people use this in battle. As smart as it is, it just seems cowardly to do so.

In Reaper Form, the blade of the weapon vibrates at 1000 Hz, the same frequency as human skin. Due to this vibration, it naturally cuts through the body easily, able to cleave straight through a human being with little to no effort.

While in the Wind Stance, Kibo gives up raw strength for pure speed and agility with it's strong jaws and claws while moving around autonomously.

[legend="Unlearning Barrier Master"]The only reason Mana learned the ability to place up barriers at a moment's notice was due to her love for the human race. The fact that no human should be able to take the life of another and that it was her job, as Leaf's Angel of Mercy, to protect all life that lives and prospers on this planet. However, after having made her decision to be the planet's champion, her desire to protect humanity had faded. She believes that, before humanity can mar and ruin the planet, she is required to purify the parasitic infection of humanity to cleanse the earth.

Looking down into her hand, she noticed blood was covering her palms; slowly dripping through the crevices between her fingertips onto the cold earth. Everything seemed to move in slow motion as she came to the realization of where she was. Mayhem occurring around her as her partner, Kibo, eviscerated flesh and crushed the bone of assassins that were sent her way. Turning to look from her palm, her eyes fell upon a strange emblem. The emblem was a military style patch with a sword made of vapor in the middle of the shield-like insignia.

"It doesn't matter who it is, huh? Be it the Observer of Time or even myself. As long as humanity still exists, they will destroy one another and they will destroy the planet with it. Oh, Kami. The village we both loved had succumbed to nature, after your ancestors perverted it. Turning the lush green forests into a machine graveyard. If only you didn't lust for the same power, money, and fame that your family did. If only you thought of the land you lived upon instead of raping it for your own selfish desires," Mana said in a bittersweet soliloquy. The words she spoke were her true feelings, even before having chosen to cleanse the body of the planet from an infection.

Turning her head to look around, she noticed that Kibo's rage and hatred continued, throwing blood and gore upon the ground; staining the dirt and grass red with the blood of killers and of the innocent. Lowering her hand to her side, she turned her back to the carnage. The sounds of screams and agony echoed and howled through the air.

"Come, Kibo. We've done enough for now," muttered the woman as she slowly walked away from the scene of carnage. The large animal followed beside her.

However, due to her decision, the only things leading her now are instinct, determination, and even the bindings of fate itself. However, after having made her decision, her mind has been in a clouded, muddled state. She hasn't been able to think properly. The pressure from not only Jashin, but her Cursed Beast of Ruin Hraesvelgr and her transcendence into the being known as Kali forces her to make decisions that she would later regret. Mana would be much better off if she didn't cling on to what little was left of her humanity.[/legend]
