Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

By now it had been several months since Yogan's mother had passed away and that his life dramatically changed. Ever since finding out his father was alive, and not who he would've ever guessed to be, life had come at him pretty fast. Having adopted the Akira surname, out of respect for his father, Yogan began to study and train harder than ever before. He knew there was a long road ahead, and with Kazan now standing at his only parent figure, he felt the need to prove himself. While his dad explained their genetic traits, Yogan began to wonder if the same thing that was happening to his dad would eventually happen to him as well; he was slowly growing fond of his new eyes.

Although that wasn't his major concern at the moment. This morning Kazan had given him a task and challenged him to survive in the lowlands, on his own, for a week with nothing more than medium sized bag of supplies. Winter had already came and filled the country side with harsh winds. For a normal person, this could easily become a death sentence, but as a Shinobi of Cloud this seemed more like a rite of passage to him. As he walked away from the village, several miles away from the major cities that filled the lighting country, Yogan found himself traversing the many different terrains until finally arriving to a place many referred to as "The Rolling Hills". As he glanced out upon the view of the land before him, a smile crossed his face.

"It's beautiful." He thought to himself, as he took a moment to soak everything in. He had been sheltered his entire life, and in fact this was the first time he had ever been outside of The Hidden Cloud Village. He had seen old pictures of the land in books, but they did the scenery no justice at all. Taking a deep breath, the chilled air finally got to him as a puff of smoke blew out with ever exhale. "Dang, I butter hurry and find a spot to set up camp." He told himself, as he began to walk once more. Several minutes later, he found himself walking on the bank of the stream. Glancing about, he could tell the streams level would raise periodically by the way it seemed to carve into the landscape.

Realizing this, he took a few steps to his right, and stepped off onto what appeared to be a small cliff about two feet above the bank. There was a hill behind him, and small circle of stones already laid out that caught his eye. After examining it for a minute, he realized this must've been an old campsite that had long since been used. Deciding to take advantage of the circle of stones, he dropped his bag, knelt down, and decided to finally have a look at what was inside of the bag his father had given him. Trap wires, rope, a large brown cloth, a basic medical kit, some food packets, a couple bottles of water, and a means to start a natural fire. "Bare necessities I guess." He said out loud, as he glanced around at the sudden feeling of as if he weren't alone.

"Just the echo's of the land." He thought, brushing the feeling off before standing up and deciding to look for fire wood. Yogan knew that he had to be quick, cause once the sun went down, things would get a lot colder. In truth though, he wondered about the few packets of food in his gear. With how cold the night got out in these lands, he knew he needed plenty more food to stay warm and survive than what these packets offered. Luckily he had brought his bow and quiver full of arrows, so if the opportunity presented itself, he would be ready. Within minutes, he began to gather small branches of wood and drag them back to his camp, before heading back out for some more.

Just over a hill, no to far away, he had found a small clearing full of some smaller, more thin, tree's. The Winter had taken their toll on them, and with just a little effort, and a lot more Chakra than he preferred to use, he managed to push them with enough force that they'd snap and fall. Taking hold of his side axe, and infusing chakra into his arms and the tip of the axe, he began to hack away. Within hours, he had more than enough fire wood to last him the week and had already began setting up some of the branches to build a makeshift shelter. Everything was coming along nice, as he finally placed wood inside the circle of stones he found earlier, and started a campfire.

He had done enough for the day, so hunting was out of the quest; besides, the sun was beginning to set and he didn't want to wonder in the dark. Opening up his bags, he grabbed a bottle of water and one of the food packets; "Dehydrated Beef Stew". As he read the instructions, he placed the bottle of water down on one of the stones for the warmth of the fire to heat up the water within. Placing the packet down, he pulled out some eating utensils from his personal bag and then waited; stoking the fire every so often. "I can't believe how peaceful it is out here." HE spoke out loud, as he leaned back and looked up towards the sky.

The Sun was slowly dipping behind one of the many mountains in the horizon. After a minute of just look up to the sky, the chill of a harsh wind began to blow against him and his campsite. Closing one eye, he leaned forward and formed hand seals; activating his "Immolation Armor" Jutsu. He began to rapidly warm and heat his own body through the use of his chakra, as a precautionary measure. Sighing deeply, he grabbed the packet of food, ripped it open, and then reached for the bottle of water he had previously sat down. Pouring some of it, now that it was plenty warm, into the dehydrated food packet, he grabbed his fork and began to stir it about. While the food didn't look very appeasing, it was better than nothing.

Sitting there, he watched the flames of the campsite fire change directions several times while he ate. His chakra armor technique seemed to be doing the job though, as the wind and the cold nights air didn't seem to bother him at all. After he finished eating, he stood up and grabbed a few logs to toss into the campfire, as he returned to work on his shelter Made of Branches he had piled together to block the wind. Grabbing the large brown cloth, he unfolded it and realized it was much larger than he had originally thought. In fact, it was a actually a tent tarp the entire time. "Ahhhh!" He thought, as he glanced towards the pile of branches. Going over to them, he began to look for some pieces that would make for a great support.

With time, he had an actual tent set up the could be closed off on all sides. The pile of branches he had previously, he began moving them around to help provide somewhat of a wind blockade for the tent. After doing all these, he collected his trash from dinner and placed it within his own personal bag, before adding more wood to the campfire, and settling into the tent for the night. Between the clothes on his back, the wind being blocked, and his technique, he was plenty warm. Choosing to the use the two bags as pillows, Yogan let out a yawn before laying down for the night. Right now, his mind seemed to wonder a bit since his body was at rest. Yogan couldn't help but reflect on everything that had happen recently, or about how he felt about things in general.

His father wasn't the emotional type, or at least he didn't give off that vibe to Yogan. So it's not like he had anyone to talk to, or to help him really figure out his thoughts of emotions. Even though he apparently had a dad, and a bunch of extended family now, he was still alone. The other kids he went to the academy with were carrying on doing their own thing, just as he was, but he wondered about them too. He hopped all of them were still alive and hadn't gotten into any trouble. Raising one hand to his face, and rubbing his brows, he closed his eyes and sighed before attempting to go to sleep. The rolling hills seemed peaceful, so he had no fear about anything showing up to mess with him. Still though, just in case at least, his bow and quiver full of arrows were near by and readily available to him.
