[fontsize="11"]Rozan's blood comes from the Senju clan itself as his family are descendants of the Senju Clan that traveled over time to the surrounding islands of Water country after the great floods that allotted a large amount of the populace in Fire country to be uninhabitable Though, his family has over the last four generations come into a slump, only the first born has gotten the abilities that come with the The element of wood has dwindled into nothing.[/fontsize]
Upon taking his Genin examination, him and two other classmates took the exam... Through an extensive test of will The Uchiha and the Aburame from his class passed the exam. They outclassed him because he did not have anything to counter act the Examiner. Working completely with regular Ninjutsu and his father's daggers ... Though he noticed something... as he was put into tight situations, the ground seemed to tremble under his feet.
Going back to the drawing board, deeper into his studies than he had ever been before. Rozan had a goal... A goal that would be met. Studying the exam with the snapshot jutsu that he learned from some text about how ANBU would show if a target was acquired from a long distance. Though he often infused this technique with enough chakra to show more of like a sideshow of a mini movie. He was very keen to detail memorizing everything that happened as if it was still happening. After about a month of studying the fighting style of the examiner he saw himself to be ready this time... but there was one thing.. to give himself a chance he had to figure out how to use his Senju techniques. Somewhere deep down he knew he had the power.
One night, seemingly inconsequential to regular belief he was walking home from the university after a long day of study. When he stumbled upon two wood elemented children smiling and sparring with spears of. Walking up to them he watched them from afar... envying them for manipulating wood element so easily. Questioning himself before he walked up to them...
'Jeez... Rozan... Why are you about to ask some first year students how to do something a Genin level should know.'
He shrugged it off and walked to them simply calling out to them.
"Oi oi, Guys... I'm having a bit of trouble... Could you help me use my Techniques? Like you guys?"
The smaller little girl giggled and gave him the peace sign.
"Daddy told me to be happy. And then it happened! Teehee."
Rozan smirked nodding his head though he didnt understand what being happy meant. What kind of sense did it make? Happiness? The other boy spoke out then.
"No no no. I got mine when I was very sad one day and my mom yelled at me..."
Rozan smiled and nodded the spoke out his farewell, "Alright... thanks."
Then the kids went back into their playing, laughing and giggling as Rozan walked away thinking about their simple explanations.
Two months later, he undertook the exam... this time, he was alone. The same examiner. Rozan had a new spring of confidence, the beginning of the exam was easier this time. He knew what he was doing. He could see things alot easier... he had built up his thinking and sped up his strategy. Moving with much fluid motion and calculation. He finally got to the battle readiness of the exam. This... would be the test. An Academy student vs a Chuunin. This would be interesting. The battle ensued... lasting over one minute and a half. Moving as quick as he could and using the chains that he got forged for this match. Using everything that he could to gain advantage... but his chain was knocked from his grasp. He had no way to bind his opponent. No way to calculate strikes. Then within a moment the examiner flung his giant blade close to the boy and Rozan flipping backwards and leaping upwards with the tips of his fingers was able to get a get around the man's blade and twist it from his grasp. But the man's hand was tightly wrapped around the blade by a chain.
It seemed hopeless... Rozan was about to fail as the man got his footing and prepared the final strike. But this time Rozan was able to flip unto the blade on the flat edge and planting his feet down and vines would begin to form under himself and the man. Forming the hand seals he yell out,
"EARTH STYLE WOOD RELEASE: VINE TANGLE!"
Then leaping from under the man to stop him in his tracks. Within a moments hesitation he yelled out.
"Stone TOMB!!"
Then instantly the earth around the examiner would collapse around the man and hold in in a solid tomb of earth the man making the man smiled for a second. But apparently it wasnt enough as the Chuunin's aura lit up for a second. Instantly breaking the bind and allowing the man free movement. Turning around as Rozan was behind him looking into his direction amazed in the tenacity in the examiner. He was a reckless shinobi but a very skilled one. Smiling to the young boy the Man said, "Congratz, You did the best of anyone that passed... though you have alot to work on... Welcome to Genin-hood.", then he threw a headband his way and headed out the gym where they were.
This was the beginning....
From there Rozan went on to blaze through his Chuunin Exam only a year afterwards... Doing mission after Mission for Mist and claiming a small name of excellence for himself. Though he would not let this get to him. He had two teammates... That always helped him throughout his journey. He was fourteen years old and one of the under rated in the village. ANBU... His team took it together. Destroying any competition... Anything that would stand in their way. Passing the exam with a near perfect score... His teammates gloated and partied.... Rozan studied. Trying to make his form perfect. Trying to calculate the best ways to approach the next battle.
One day about a month away from his sixteenth birthday sporting his own new Jounin gear, him and the team were led into a mission just outside the Mist gates on an island not far off the coast of the main island that held Kirigakure. Reports said that there was a disturbance even reports that said people were being killed.
They were to get there and come back with a report to check the area. Simple, they were to NOT engage the enemy if they could help it. So normally as it was... They fled out to the and found two inuzuka women terrorizing the island. They were found in the trees eating the bones of humans along with their dogs. This was good that they found out what was disturbing the land... but unluckily for them they were in the midst of Inuzuka a smell based clan they could easily be tracked and were easily found. So, when they engaged the enemy they were taken off guard due to the speed in which things happened having to fight them and fend them off until the darkness of the night.
The wood spires that Rozan shot off could only be as fast as his eyes could catch the movements of the women and in this case... they out matched the young jounin and hit teammates in the darkness of the night however Sticking to the possible escape plan Rozan managed to escape when he made the slight opening. Though, there was a casualty, in his running and leaving he would get caught in a Cerberus attack which ended in him losing his left arm but that was minor compared to what he would see. . . His partners, were not as lucky... His Uchiha friend became a meal... being devoured by a Cerberus beast and his Aburame friend made it out but not without being completely exhausted and near death from injury.
Carrying his Aburame friend on his back... into the village... and into the Infirmary. He got his first Mednin training. Helping the woman that was heading the Hospital this particular night... using his chakra to help heal the wounds of the man but... it would all be in vain as Rozan passed out due to his extreme exhaustion and his wounds. His friend died as he was being worked on by nurses in another room...
Waking up the next morning with his mother and his father in the hospital room chairs within the room. Noticing that his arm seemed to be intact but that was not the case, there was alot that he had to deal with in that course of action, there was nothing there, only something that he thought was an arm, temporary. . . with a frown he would look to his parents as he would lift his body from the bed mustering the strength to call out to them.
"Mom... Dad... Where is Kyou? Is he okay?"
Looking away from him giving him the silent answer. Rozan sighed... Looking up he said a small prayer and tried to lift himself out of bed. But he couldnt... no energy no power within his body.So instantly he laid his body back down... falling back into his sleep. Waking up days later... After a month... on his 19th birthday.. he would finally get accepted as a teacher in the Academy, allowing him a bit of freedom, though he would steer away from doing any missions. . . The sky was the limit for the young Senju.
---
Only a year or so later, he would find himself gradually begin working with his missing arm, always leaving his sleeve down, so taking sometime off he would find himself leaving the village for research, as he was an herbalist, and dealt with trees and such. Oh well, as he would continue working himself outside trying to find different lessons he could teach his students Rozan would come upon a large tree and a 'masked man' sitting at the base of this tree... It looked honestly wonderful the tree seemed to be bringing life to the area around it and the monk like man seemed to be quietly meditating under it~
Slowly making his way to the tree, Rozan would find himself ogling it from afar, wanting to take a sample for himself. Though as he would get closer he would notice something that he didnt from from the distance that he was at prior, the tree seemed to be withering from the base upward, and the 'masked man' seemed to be hurt and though Rozan was not a medical shinobi he did know some medical jutsu just from his studies alone, but alot of it was irrelevant, his mystical hand was nothing compared to a regular Medical shinobi's. Though it was all worth a try as he would jump from his position leaving his bag behind and landing next to 'him' with one hand he could not form handseals, but he did have scrolls, healing and other such things.
"Turn back. They will return once again to kill m-..." The now identified woman would speak as quickly as he could but stopping his words as Rozan would hush her and remove her mask, "Miss, I have to tend to your wounds, or get you to someone that can h-" "No. I've been sitting here for too long. . . I'm bound to . ." stopping she would cough up blood, but it was slightly green, was she a Senju as he was? ". . .I'm bound to die any moment now. . ." shaking her head her hazel eyes would stare into Rozan's as he would look to her's he was only barely twenty-one but he had to help her. . . he knew he could do something and if he was a Senju he would be able to help her with his chakra. . . though he was not like normal Senju his wood prowess was minor and faulty. . . So he would begin channeling his chakra into her, trying to help heal her but to no avail her wounds were too great.
"Young man, you are one with this plane. This land is your home yes? This may sound... a bit weird. However, I have a dear friend. They mean the world to me and I wish for them not to have to see my death. Could you... please take care of her?" Rozan would tilt his head inquisitively looking for some small child to appear around the corner, he would look up at the huge tree behind the woman. Her breathing became strained, and he could feel her life fore slipping, though there was another that he could feel now becoming more apparent. . . what was this, "Miss I will do what I can to help. . . Where is this person?" leaning into her body he would feel the tree withering a bit more. . .
Bringing her hand up to him slowly she would push out her words, ". . .Open. . . your shirt. . ." blinking Rozan would shake his head but would cooperate, snapping the top buttons of his shirt and revealing his lightly sun kissed skin, she would motion for him to lean closer as he hesitantly did so she'd begin to glow a dark green chakra from the very tips of her fingers. . . the presence within her pouring into him as she began to draw the symbol for the wood element release, in the edge of his collarbone, just below the right side of his chest. . . but as she would begin moving the chakra within her to him. . .
Her coughing began once again. . . and within a few short moments her chakra flow would stop and her hand would stammer to the floor. He could feel the presence of her life force slipping into nothingness. . . but he could feel the presence that was with her now in him. . . his chakra was not disturbed by this, in all honesty it welcomed it. It embraced him and he felt his chakra levels begin to flourish everything around him became more lively. . . Something within him, he had to figure it out. . .
Closing his eyes he would begin to look through his mind, and within his evenly planed mind there would now reside a forest, though all seemed to be quiet within it, as a small little girl would emerge from the trees seemingly in her pajamas. . . rubbing her eyes. . . she would look up to Rozan and smile, giving him a light wave. He noticed that the very ground under her would become vibrant and full of life. Though her chakra was larger and more powerful than his own but it was not full of malice intent. . .
It was like he was dreaming, he even had his arm back, though it was... brown like a puppet arm, but it had the muscle structure like that of a normal arm. . . the tendrils that made up his digits, even moved fluently like a hand would. It almost caused him to cry, but if this woman had given him this blessing why hadnt she been able to recover from her injuries. . . Looking to the child who was now standing infront of him tugging upon his coat she would look up to him with the most adorable smile. "Mistar~ I-hungrey~" smiling he would shake his head and would look around for a moment wondering where he would get something for her only to look back down and see she was munching happily on an apple from a small branch that extended from the ground.
"Heh, who are you little one. . ." he would ask.
"Moriko. And you are Rozan. My protector."
Instantly his eyes would snap back open outwardly and the young woman that was with him was now replaced by a very elderly woman that seemed to be far long past her age time. Though he knew this was the woman that was with him, surprised by the words of the girl however, he would blink for a moment noticing that the tree was no longer there with them and the woman's chakra and life was completely gone. He didnt know what to do but as he looked his arm had returned even in this world... it was odd. Very very odd... but as he began moving the wooden arm, it seemed to pull from his chakra. . . more so thee Senju blood that ran through him.
Taking things day by day he would soon figure out what happened. . .
But whatever came next was history in the making. . . .
The Story of Rozan had only begun. . .
