Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Even though Ri was one of the laziest people he knew, he still liked to do things quickly. The only things in life he didn't do quickly, were deciding what to do in normal situations and sleeping. His reasoning behind wanting to do things quickly, is that he normally finds stuff like close-range combat annoying. Since this form of combat was annoying, why not make it go by quickly? During the occasional training days he'd have, he began working on getting in several hits at once, eventually being able to get several hits in withing a matter of seconds. Satisfied with his progress, he rarely worked on it unless he was in battle.

Going along with his theme of "quick death", Ri decided he'd work on his draw speed as well. Not just for his katana though, also for how quickly he could draw and knock an arrow. He spent about as much time as he did with quickly getting hits in, but it was a little more difficult to do this since he also had to work on his speed with his arrows. When he was finished training, he decided he'd test it out the next time he got the chance, and kept an eye out for trouble that could potentially get him rewards. One day, he came across a street fight that could get him some form of reputation for stopping. Making sure to focus on the one that seemed to provoke the other into fighting, he quickly drew his bow and knocked an arrow in about 3 seconds before taking aim and firing at the man, incapacitating him. Now he just had to work on how quickly he could aim...

Stalker

He needed to get better at sneaking peeks at woman.. But how? Well, why not do it the same way he's been perfecting all of his other skills to make his life easier? Practice and experience. First he'd practice sneaking up on different people to see if they don't notice him, then he'd go into the "field" and try it out for real. After his initial training was complete, it was time to test his new found skills for real. It was time to go to.... The hot springs. Waiting until no one was around, he snuck into the girl's section of the hot springs and peeked inside. It was heaven, nothing could've beaten what he was currently seeing unless he got to TOUCH what he was currently seeing. He remained in this place until one of the women got out and made her way over to him, where he quickly aborted the mission and snuck out. This skill could come in handy in the future...

Yet another skill to aid his perversion, tracking someone could be very useful if Ri believes he may have discovered a potential beauty. Now, the only way he could train this skill, would be to track living things. He started by tracking different animals in the forest, killing them for food as a bonus. When he began to get better at doing this, he moved on to the more difficult "prey." In order to properly track women, he'd have to find the most hidden clues. Things like hair perfume were the only things to follow, but eventually he managed to find a woman by doing this, and it was smooth sailing from there. Maybe he could use this in other ways to?

Finally, a way to both draw, and aim his bow quickly. Something that could finally relieve him of drawn out battles, ranged or not. SOMETHING that could bring him ever closer, to pure happiness. Well, not really pure happiness, that would require women to sleep with him forever. Anyway, after weeks of not so constant training, he finally managed to aim quickly without missing as frequently. He could draw his bow and shoot it so fast after just a couple seconds of seeing his enemy, and it was great. Now that he had this, he'd have what he believed to be the max amount of time for sleeping and eye candy that he was capable of having. Perfect!

The Hawkeye’s bows are tensed and well - balanced, and their kunai and shuriken have been sharpened for hours on end. Ranged weapons used by the Hawkeye are simply better and more effective.
Effect: +5% damage with ranged/projectile weapons.

Restriction - Requires Quickshot Jutsu
By training ceaselessly with the Quickshot technique, a Hawkeye gains the speed and precision to fire off even more arrows in a short period of time.
Effect: When using Quickshot, you may take an extra shot.

An idea suddenly came to mind.. If Ri was skilled with both earth ninjutsu and fire ninjutsu, what would happen if he combined the two of them? He'd seen people using lava ninjutsu before, and they were all highly skilled bad asses, so why couldn't he be someone like them? And on top of that, he would totally be a chick magnet. So, since lava is just really, really hot earth, obviously the first thing to try would be melting rock with his fire. Simply to try it out at first, Ri picked up a nearby stone and focused chakra into his hands to try and melt it. All that happened, however, is the rock became really hot, causing him to drop it.

"Clearly this will require more effort than I usually put forth.." Ri stated as he walked off. He'd actually have to spend some time training if he wanted this, his motivation would have to be women. So, taking at least 3 days out of every week to spend training, Ri eventually got the hang of controlling his chakra enough to melt a little bit of earth, certainly not enough to be effective, but it was progress. It took him several months before he was finally able to melt a boulder he made with fire jutsu, but when he could, it was a damn good feeling. "Now I just need to mix the two elements into a single jutsu..." Although this probably required a completely different method of training, the months he used up were good for getting much better at using fire.

Maybe mixing hand signs from various jutsu would work? Even though that sounded absurd, he figured it may help him get the hang of trying to mix two different elements together. Of course, it didn't, but at least he was trying. Eventually it just kind of clicked, he'd have to try random shit until it eventually worked! Why hadn't he thought of it sooner! Any good researcher would know to do that if he wanted to discover something totally new. Even though lava jutsu wasn't knew, it was to Ri, so the idea was close enough. And random shit he did, trying to use two jutsu at once, using his chakra in different ways, even focusing his chakra into different areas of his body. Even though most didn't work, one eventually did. He didn't quite know what he did, but he remembered the general idea of what he had done. So time to remember and mimic exactly what he had done previously and attain the same results!

It was almost like a sixth sense for Ri, he was always able to tell when there was a hot ninja babe in a crowd, he had no idea why, he just kinda.. Knew. So, if he could detect ninja babes, why wouldn't he hone this ability to be able to detect more!? Since he couldn't do this alone, he would have to do this with actual crowds. Oh no! Of course he didn't mind that, if it meant he'd get to see more attractive females. So, using any time he was in the city as an excuse to try out this ability, he would follow where he found the chakra to be. Yet, he would sometimes find a man instead.. Strange, was his body confused about something? It better not be, there's no way he'd give up on women.

After so many times of being beat up for being the pervert he is, Ri eventually began being able to dodge various attacks with ease. Even being able to jump over a woman's punch just to avoid it. Since Ri seemed to have been taking interest in every single ability that allowed him to be a pervert more easily, why not work with his dexterity as well? Whenever he would go to train, find a place to sleep, or even just finding a nice place to eat, he would use it as an excuse to hone his acrobatic skills. Eventually, he started jumping across buildings, dodging people, poles, and fists like it was nothing, and even using it to get to a better spot to peek on women in the hot springs. Now all he needed was a pair of binoculars..

"What if..." Ri thought as he laid in his bed, early in the morning, "I trained for another advanced element, and gained even more ways to fight?" Not a bad idea in his mind, but the word "training" was a bit off putting. Certainly not his favorite word. Then again, it seemed the only thing he's enjoyed in the longest time was the fight he had in the colosseum not to long ago, even if it prevented him from ever feeling something with his right hand ever again.. Oh well! If he got lava off of some dumb idea, why couldn't he get metal? The only problem there seemed to be was the fact that he had no idea what two elements to mix in order to achieve this.

Off to the library then! Springing out of bed, Ri grabbed his things and headed for the door. Just before leaving, he realized that it was still dark out. Not wanting to confuse anyone that knew him, he'd have to sleep until about noon before going anywhere. And so that is what he did, but not actually for other people, he'd be dead tired in about thirty minutes if he were to leave now. Once his family could be heard having lunch downstairs, Ri knew it was time to move. Repeating the same process he had before, Ri exited his home and made his way to the library. Now all that was left was finding out where the element information was located. Maybe the directory would help? "There it is.." Ri mumbled to himself as he pointed at the location of where he'd likely find information on advanced elements.

As he arrived, Ri began looking for anything regarding advanced elements, but didn't seem to find anything specifically on the one he wanted. "Don't do this to me life.. I don't want to read." Ri stood motionless, like he was waiting for an answer from life itself, but eventually gave up and looked to the book titled, "Advanced Elements and you!" Sounded stupid, but maybe it would help? Looking at the table of contents certainly made things faster for him, as he found a section named, "How to get advanced elements." And help it did, as after each named advanced element, it had which mixture of elements you needed in order to get said advanced element. Flipping through the pages until he found "metal", Ri hoped there wasn't a special way you were supposed to train for each one, since he planned on doing what he did last time. Seeing that metal required earth and non-elemental affinities in order to produce, Ri found himself lucky that he recently developed a bit of an affinity for jutsu without an element. Now all that was left was to repeat the same process he went through for lava and hope for the best.

Ri was starting to get bored of the things he worked for, even though they were meant to make fighting fun. There had to be a way to make lava and metal a bit more impressive, but it's not like the two are very compatible, so how are you supposed to make that impressive? The only way that those two elements could be cooler, is if they floated around the battlefield like little orbs of death! Wait a minute.. That could work; gravity! If Ri controlled gravity, he could continue having fun, and look cool as hell doing it. And imagine what women would think, he could sweep them off their feet without even touching them! It was decided, the next advanced element he'd work to achieve, was gravity.

And of course, it was another element that he had no clue what he would need to combine in order to be able to use it. So off to the library he went, not even the speed of light could compare to how fast he was going. Even though he wasn't even going fast, actually, he was walking rather slow. But enough with the details of how he got there, he's there and working. If only he put this much "effort" into doing his duty as a shinobi..

As he arrived, Ri went through the same process he did to find information on the metal advanced element. And after finding said information, went to go train to use the element he had chosen. Using the same place he used for pretty much everything (the forest), Ri began his training. It took about a month before he began being able to manipulate the forces of gravity, and another after that to be able to use it as he pleased, but the wait was well worth it. For he truly could create floating orbs of death now, all he had to do was manipulate gravity to make his lava float, then boom, deadly obstacle!

Now all that was left to do, was test it out in some actual combat. So off to the colosseum he went to see just how awesome it would be. And the crowd seemed to agree with him when he used it, as they cheered when chunks of metal and orbs of lava were flung around the battlefield. Maybe he could even make the Mochizuki troupe jealous with such a performance. Or maybe not, he didn't actually know anyone from their troupe, so no way of telling if they had anything better.

Stalker: WC - 106
Ri found that sneaking around just wasn't his thing anymore. It always seemed like a cool idea, especially with his genjutsu bow combo, but with his eyes sight failing him and his lack of genjutsu use, it just wasn't much of an option any more. He hadn't tried to peep on anyone in the hotsprings in a while, so being stealthy wasn't even helpful for that anymore! He'd just have to stop trying... Even if it meant he'd have to choose a more head on approach for his perverted dreams! Plus, his wooden sandals were never something that was helpful for that kind of thing anyways.

Tracker: WC - 103
Along with his now bad eye sight, his skills at tracking... Anything really, were beginning to fade as well. Obviously, this affected his want for a stealthy approach even more, and would make losing the enemy, animal, or babe in the first place a no go. No tracking= no tracking ninja. And he knew this. This would just affect him badly, however. If it ever did come to the point where he lost his target, which could be possible, he'd basically be screwed! Unless they left behind some obvious like, "I'm here, come find me!" There would be no way to relocate them.

Sensor: WC - 117
Ri was once sensitive to chakra, able to sense it at fairly short distances. This may not seem like it would always be the most effective skill in the world, but when it came to combat, it helped him tell where the enemy was if they ever tried to sneak up on him. Of course, this wasn't as effective as a hyuuga's eyes were, but it still gave him that extra edge that could decide the outcome of a battle. This sense, however, eventually began to fade. Just like his eyes sight. Whether the two were directly linked or not was unknown, but he did know that he would no longer be relying on such a thing.

Combat Instinct: WC - 105
Even though Ri has only been involved in one large scale battle, he learned quite quickly how to be able to focus on any specific target. The chaos of the battlefield was no able to distract him enough to break his focus, and he eventually realized that this could be a valuable skill. If he could properly dodge and weave through a horde of enemies to get to any specific target, he would be a great choice for a sort of assassination job. All he would need is a little practice, and since he is a shinobi, it was likely to come sooner or later...

Fearless: WC - 100
Ri has never been one to fear much. Even when facing someone with a demon's aura, he was able remain unafraid of them, whether they were angry or not. He'd never recognized this as a valuable trait he had, but the more battles he was involved in, the more he began to realize that it was a good thing. Even though his fearlessness may get him killed in some cases, it's important not to seize up on the battlefield. A single second of hesitation could get him killed, and he didn't want that. Even if he wasn't afraid of death.

Clarity: WC - 119
Although he doesn't use as many genjutsu now, he's always been fairly adept at telling what was real and what was fake. He'd only ever applied this skill in situations outside of combat however, like the academy and other forms of training, even if he did realize it would be valuable in combat. This wasn't because he never bother trying to tell real from fake though, it was just that there had never been many people using genjutsu on him in the first place. But he did know that if he was going to continue his career as a shinobi, he'd need to be able to tell what was a genjutsu, so he might as well refine the skill.
