History:
Post Graduation: Shizue was eager to prove her parents pride in her. On the morning of her first ever mission as a genin Shizue's mother packed her a sizeable lunch that she had shared with her teammates during their first moment of reprieve. Their duty was to deliver an important package to a mysterious person on the outskirts of Sunagakure, it went relatively effortless despite a few bandits attempted to steal the package unsuccessfully. In total the mission took Shizue and her team around 4 days to complete. After turning in the required paper work and having a celebratory bowl of pork ramen with her team she rushed home to gush to her parents the excitement she had during her first mission. Kyuu was asleep in her pack, recovering from the strain of the mission. As she approached her small home she grew up in, only to find the exterior battered and torn. The front door was broken in and off the track, as she entered the house a pungent odor of decaying food filled the air, tables and cushions knocked around haphazardly. No sign of anyone for a few days at least. Shizue felt the panic welling up inside of her chest as she ran towards her parents room, throwing open the sliding door only to find their fuuton flipped and their belongings scattered everywhere. There was blood on the floor and the sill of the window. She called out for her parents, but there was no answer. She called for their companions, equally silent. It was obvious her once loving home, now ransacked for something she didn't understand. Shizue ran back to the shop where she had left her team, pleading her sensei for help. Once everyone returned to her home, it was evident that whatever skirmish happened, had happened shortly after they all had left for their mission. Shizue stayed at the academy while people had investigated and cleaned her parents home. When she returned everything was back to more-or-less how it had looked before she left, only a few things were missing and out of place. Questions plagued Shizue's mind. Her sensei checked in with Shizue everyday it seemed, then it was every other day, then once a week, until he stopped showing up. Whoever came after her parents weren't interested in Shizue. But who were they?
Current: It's been 2 years since her parents went missing, Shizue spent most of that time pushing away from her past life. She had essentially become a recluse to the point that most of her past friends forgot she had existed, or figured she left in search of her missing family. No one was eager to associate with the daughter of at best case scenario were two shinobi who went intentionally missing, disgracing their past village and at worst case, shinobi weak enough to get murdered in their own home. Shizue still continues to be a shinobi, although her career has stagnated due to her only completing very simple missions that even a single genin to accomplish on their own. She's nice enough to anyone who pays her any mind, but tends to stick mostly to herself and Kyuu.
