Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

You know life is full of surprises such as waking up one day and blowing up with every electrical device in your home or coming downstairs to tell your parents that something was wrong only for them to set you down and tell you that women who you thought was your mother turned out to be your step mother. Now this kind of day seems unlikely but one Mihane Karasuba was currently living this very stressful day. You see despite the sand village currently starting their reconstruction a great many of civilians were still living in the bunker including Karasuba's family due to the lack of houses on the surface so when Karasuba had found out she had apparently come into her mothers Santaru bloodline, whom she had never met, She felt she needed some time alone away from her father and step mother.

Sitting in one of the now empty storage rooms within the bunker Karasuba leaned back and just stared down at her lap and watched with fascination as her body sparked with lightning chakra which leaked from her currently unstable coils. Really she didn't know what she was going to do. It was if her father had been lying to her this entire time but at the same time she loved the women whom she had thought was her mother. "Ugh I don't know how to handle this." Karasuba muttered sadly to herself.

[Sorry for shaky first post. Getting into the swing of things again after being gone for awhile so please join.]

Re: Shocking Revelations [BL Topic: Open]

Somewhere inside the Toraono Dojo

A young boy floated inside some sort of recuperative medical tank, in a facility not open to just anyone. Submerged in a mixture of complex restorative compounds. He was connected to a breathing mask and being monitored by numerous devices and tubes.

His frame was small, like an anorexic ten year old rather than belying his unknown age of thirteen. The thin wisps of hair rooted in his skull floated around wildly as bubbles pushed them aside. Days passed as the boy recovered from just another near death experience. Before, he had been so sickly he seemed a living corpse. Now, after his strange revelation and possession, as well as the seal placed by Kuro, he was changing.

A little more meat was added to his brittle structure, leaving him still slim and slender but not dying like before. His skin appeared to thicken and show minor color, though grayish wasn't the normal standard. The ashen dead color of his hair had turned stark white over time within the tank as well.

He was often monitored quite frequently, and even at times by the head of the Dojo himself who fully directed the process. One night though, the sound of glass shattering called attention to an only temporary absent lab. On arrival those investigating found the tank empty with its contents spilled but no child.

There was a small panic but he was discovered close by, having woken up and refused to be contained. With no real damage done, and his recovery having gone well, he began exploring the dojo.

After a while he began hearing about another pupil of Kuro's named Riyota. Apparently he was around the we size as Makeinu himself and sported a rather large axe. Since waking his mind was different, it housed a pantheon of information on subjects unknown to others or simply forgotten in time. He remembered his possession, and had come to understanding every meaning of the words spoken through his lips by a greater force. His mind sizzled with new ideas that could be seen as mere mischief. This other boy would be pulled into the brewing storm.

Makeinu had a note sent by one of Kuro's attendants to Riyota, telling him to go to the bunker on the surface and find a specific storage room at a certain time. It seemed very noir-like and would surely raise questions.

---

He was wearing the black and gold trimmed Kuro had given him, with a black hoodie from a more sentimental place draped over it. He wore dark fingerless gauntlets made of special fabric, things far above his required tastes. Shinobi sandals black as sandals covered his feet and over all that still he wore a tattered shroud. He hated the surface.

Covering his mouth was a new looking gas mask that covered the lower half of his face, something that was really an old relic restored by science. The mask too was blacker than coal or any shadow. His small form seemed like an insect trodding the heatstruck sands. Upon entering the bunker he'd waste no time heading towards the storage room. He had been there before when helping to move supplies, back when he didn't have a clue about anything. It was different now. He hadn't forgotten about Shiori, but knew he needed more than desire to pursue her. The elders restricted information on the subject, for fear he would go off on his own. So he made another plan and-

Who was she? That was definitely his first thought as he opened the door carefully and peered inside. He would watch as sparks of electrical energy danced upon the body of a girl with golden hair and emerald eyes. His own eyes, the color of neon blood seemed primal. They narrowed as pushed in the door lightly. He knew he needed to be there to see Riyota, but it didn't make sense changing the plan just because of this girl. Not when so much was at stake. His steps were soft and almost inaudible like the padded feet of a feline, though he didn't try to be as such. With his hood still up, he grinned as an unseen gesture beneath his mask. "Cool power ya' got." He stated softly, his voice slightly raspy and soft. She was taller than him by a few inches, but wasn't that how things always were back in school days? Girls maturing faster. Them again, this child was a runt by any standard. His eyes betrayed no specific emotion, just a dull gaze that acknowledged her presence.

Re: Shocking Revelations [BL Topic: Open]

Sometime...Someplace.

Riyota sat in the empty area and thought...thinking, that's it, when you look at it, it's kinda weird for it to be the only thing you're doing. Usually you're always thinking...Strange for it sometimes to be the main focus of your life, but here Riyota sat, thinking to himself, until something happened to him that had never happened before...He got a letter..and a very strange letter it was too. Asking him to go retrieve something from...the surface? Riyota groaned, to bee honest maybe he shouldn't just be doing what a random letter tells him to...but hey, he had nothing better to do right?

The Surface
Riyota strolled up to the bunker he was meant to be getting...whatever it was from, for...whoever sent the letter. "Can't believe I agreed to go get something for some stranger...can't they get it themselves? Or send one of their letter carrying minions or whatever?" Riyota sulked, he was too hot and bothered too be doing this, his white overcoat flapping about in the desert wind. He pulled his hood further over his face. "What could possibly be so useful I have to go all the way out here to get it?!" He shouted to no-one in particular. He began kicking up sand as he walked. Why even bother with the stupid surface, stupid surface is stupid and hot. He grumbled.

Eventually he reached the bunker that he was at least assuming was the right one, at this point he didn't even care anymore. He started to enter only to find the door already slightly ajar, Weird, Stupid Letter never mentioned there would be anyone here. He could hear muffled voices coming from further inside the bunker. He slowly opened the door further and crept in, hoping this wasn't a surprise attack, or an invasion of privacy. As he got closer he heard a slight crackle of lightning, a sound he himself was only too familiar with. He closed in on what he could see was the storeroom and spotted the palest...boy? he had ever seen, he couldn't exactly tell because he was facing away, but he definitely heard a feminine voice further in.

He Lowered his snow white hood and dusted some sand off before clearing his throat. I hope I haven't interrupted I just need to grab something. After that he waited to see just who exactly these people were.

Re: Shocking Revelations [BL Topic: Open]

Kara almost jumped out of her skin and hit the roof when a voice pieced through her gloomy thoughts unexpectedly. Quickly looking up at the speaker she was surprised to find a person there in some creepy get up that made them look a bit like a character out of a horror movie. "Er thanks." She said with some hesitation as she looked the boy over and that was only a guess at his gender since for all she knew she was looking at a flat chested girl with a gas mask filter altering her voice. Before she could say anything else though another person showed up judging by the voice but she couldn't see him since there were a few boxes near the door that obstructed her view. Now feeling nervous being stuck inside a storage room with two strangers was perfectly normal, Unfortunately Kara's condition with her chakra was very abnormal at the moment and combined with the fact even newly awakened Santaru were pretty much electrical turbines then it wasn't surprising that her chakra surged in agitation and sent a powerful burst of lighting chakra into the air.

The lightning quickly surged into the ceiling and walls electrifying them briefly before blowing out all the lights leaving the two boys in darkness. Fortunately Kara was acting as a nightlight since her out of control lightning chakra was still surging over her skin giving her a halo of crackling blue light. "Ok that was really embarrassing." The blond girl muttered as she stood up while looking down at herself to make sure she hadn't charred her clothes. "Um Hi there it's always nice to meet new people but I'm going through some stuff and can't really control my chakra at the moment so you really need to stop making me jump. It's not helping with the serial killer costume and the disembodied voice. How about we all just introduce ourselves and say what we are here for?" She also hoped they would step out of the darkness so she could see them.

Re: Shocking Revelations [BL Topic: Open]

The boy made no movements or gestures of any sort towards the girl, seeming near inanimate for a time, save for his eyes. Those vibrant scarlet colored irises of his followed their pupils absentmindedly to some corner. While not giving the impression of being shy per say, it was clear he had no desire for prolonged eye contact. The few remaining bluish grey veins upon what showed of his face looking like he suffered poisoning. Her startled reaction was expected, he knew he wasn't a pleasing sight for anyone. Not to their eyes at least.

Draped in darkness and sporting flesh the color only the dead may have possessed, he was from a horror movie or something worse if is life was being chronicled somewhere. Despite all the augments and enchantments to his blood and clothing, all it did was give him the ability to function as he would had he not been born a deficient freak of nature. His natural Will however; made those little improvements appear so drastic in comparison. He knew in the end that Kuro was simply an instrument though, a being through which the power of a greater force had chosen to work in his plan. Yet, he knew he was unworthy if all bestowed upon him so self celebration never occurred. Nor over excitement for the material gains.

He needn't look as the door opened, but felt his own lips turn into a grin beneath his mask. It was a simple if genuine one, only made odd if at all by the fact it went unseen. He looked over the other pupil of Toraono Kuro, and indeed found themselves matching in height alone at best and even then found himself shorter. Makeinu sported black, with the negligible gold trimming of his Gi hidden by all the other layers while Riyota sported white. His hair was white and colorless, but the other's dark. The contrast was obvious to any and all, even when Riyota spoke. He had more attitude and a more lively sound. Slight envy crossed his heart for a moment. "Nope." He muttered truthfully.

He thought for a moment how to put his words together, a thought that was interrupted by the crackling of the girl's energy growing louder. Quickly shifting his sight to her direction he noticed the columns of electrical energy surging about. The room was too small, and too pack for there to be any sort of escape at his level of skill.

A powerful shock would race up his legs. Pain was sucked into his nerves and spread throughout his body generously. There was no scream from him as his fingers and body slightly spasmed in response. The flashes of lightning in the dark would reveal a change, as the boy's hood fell backwards from his forward motion. His mask had changed, the front laced with pearly teeth and apparently the gums to match. They did not belong to the boy, not in the normal sense. They were on the mask, since beneath one of the boy's central incisors were missing and would give a different look altogether. The right eye was covered in a leather strap that seemed grown from the gas mask itself in that fraction of a moment. The sclera of his visible eye had gone black and his bloody irises glowed softly for a millisecond before fading.
25al0ya.png
It was as if a switch had been flipped, and the external introduction of pain signalled threat. His body reacted by drawing from the reservoir of hunger inside himself, his deprived form drinking in her power and using it to activate power of his own but a power not as easily understood. "Now this, I wasn't expectin'." He said to himself more to either present, perhaps intentionally delaying on responding to the girl's inquiry. Then as if remembering her he stared for a moment with that now singular eye. He was seething with anger, intestines writhing with urge for retribution while his heart and mind stifled such things. Able to deduce her attack as an accident, it lessened his need to return pain.

"I'm nobody." He could not see himself, and thus did not witness his own change. He felt different. He of course noticed his mildly obscurbed vision as well, and something inside him trying to force him to rage in response to the uncontrolled energy of the girl and cut loose. His voice now carried a surreal echo that went undeard by the ears. The crimson veins cracked across his dark sclera as the cursed power filled him. "I sent the note, and I got what you need ta' pick up." He looked absolutely insane with that monstrous grin plastered across his mask.

He did not step closer to any of them, choosing to stand where he was half covered by the darkness outside the girl's range. "Since she's here maybe she's supposed to hear this too." He reasoned. "What I have to give is information, that there is a bigger war going on." Did one so young even understand war? "Our elders are at a disadvantage. They need our help against this evil even if they ain't gunna' admit it...Things won't stay the same forever, there's somethin' bad comin'." His gaze shifted from boy to girl and back before lowering to the floor absentmindedly as he fought to choose words.

"I've heard about yous 'round the Dojo, another charge under Kuro like me. He fights for a greater good, I see it in him. I ask your help to do the same." As he spoke the last words his eyes closed and he breathed in softly. The mask would revert in a manner like fading in rather than morphing. The part covering his eye would disappear revealing one eye that never changed sclera and at the same time the other eye returned to its original state. He had, for now, fought back the influence of the cursed seal. His will for something more was stronger than the will of the mark.
(Partial Cursed Seal activation in response to perceived threat and pain stimulus. Enrage effect, resisted. Deactivated.)

Re: Shocking Revelations [BL Topic: Open]

Riyota opened his mouth about to speak up when he heard furious crackling coming from within the storage room, he knew whatever was about to happen wasn't going to be good. The lighting surged out and blew out the lights, shocking Riyota along with it. Through a scrunched up expression he saw the other boy (He was pretty sure it was a boy by this point) suffer the lightning as well, but as he watched, he saw a curse mark grow along the boys pale skin and he felt his own burn on his flesh, but it didn't feel like it was responding to the pain. It felt like it was responding, to the other boys mark? He closed his eyes and willed with everything he had to not let it activate, he wasn't sure what it would do and was scared to use it, after a while, the lightning and the mark died down. He opened his eyes just enough to see the last remnants of the other boys' curse take effect.

He had also drawn the parallels of their appearances, their colours were almost opposite in seemingly every area, he didn't know this boy, and didn't have enough to go on to form an opinion about it yet.

Riyota continued waiting as he rubbed his arms to recover so feeling after the shock, He heard the boy admit that he'd sent the note, which sent thousands of questions rioting about in his head, but he decided to stay silent for now and hear the boy out, something he wouldn't have done under normal circumstances.

What's he going on about, a war? Disadvantage? who is this guy? Riyota wrangled with his thoughts And how does he know so much about me? Did Kuro tell him, or...?
He saw the boys face return to normal (If you could even call it that) and waited for him to wrap up his speech. Assuming what you're saying is true and all? Why me? and by extension? Why her? He motioned to the girl who had just stepped out to face them.

He began leaning against the wall. I'm not quite prepared to tell these two anything yet...

Re: Shocking Revelations [BL Topic: Open]

'Well that was unexpected. Both with my chakra and the response it garnered.' Kara thought as she tensed when the boy she could see seemed to undergo some sort of transformation from the taciturn person he was before into something malevolent but after glaring at her he seemed to lose interest and focused on speaking to the other occupant about wars and plots. Frankly Kara had no idea what was going on nor what these boys wanted so since she was only acting as a light source she began to slowly edge around the room towards the door where the other kid stood.

[Sorry but I'm not sure what is being talked about so I couldn't think of much. I 'll post more on my next turn.]

Re: Shocking Revelations [BL Topic: Open]

He fell silent for a moment, his shoulders losing a bit of their height as the weight of the task before him tugged on them. Oblivious to the cursed energy lurking within the other boy, a person more capable of holding his back. The responses that both of the occupants gave him would prompt an exasperated sigh. He knew how it all looked, well not all since he didn't witness his own transformation, but being the odd one bringing disconcerting news to strangers gave him a level of insight. The girl had taken it upon herself to remain silent entirely, inching away little by little. Gritting his teeth in response to all the mounting resistance he'd exhale again, with eyes closed and looking towards neither of them.

"I already went over that." Dry words, no matter how soft the voice speaking them. "We're 'bout the same age. We're also both tied to the Toraono in some way." He never claimed to be a part of the Toraono, nor that Riyota was either, but the connection both had to them was undeniable to either. "The elders are screwed." He was sure, and his words betrayed no doubt in his mind about the validity of his comment. It didn't matter how accurate that perception was with the larger picture, a poster that he was far too close to see clearly. Still, that did not make him wrong. "Since I gotta' repeat myself I'll do it. Kuro's a good man, fightin' for good things. To claim any sorta' kinship with him and not try for the same is redundant." Sure, he was talking about Kuro, but his conviction might have made it seem like he was also referencing something more. Did these other children understand what the word 'Redundant' even met? He himself didn't have the memory to recall the building of his own vocabulary. The words just rolled out as necessary.

With a small nod to the girl, but not looking in her direction he continued. "She's just in the right place at the right time." It was such a basic answer that it couldn't possibly satisfy either of the other two children. "There ain't too many mistakes. If she wasn't 'sposed to be here then she wouldn't be I guess." As the girl moved further away from him, he moved further away from them both. He'd already scanned the room for vents and other means of slipping out should the need arise. He trusted neither of them, and knew they didn't trust him either. "The Cabal-" He paused, thinking for a moment and then finding it better not to mention Shiori at all. By now the Cabal were famous village-wide and there wasn't a corner in the village that hadn't whispered their name. They had rocked the once great and sovereign nation of Sunagakure, and brought it to its knees. "They're not done with Sunagakure." He was cryptic but not intentionally, merely fumbling over the right words so he wouldn't tell a lie but not pour out the whole unnecessary truth. "What I know ain't no big secret from any of the elders, but no one's able to follow it up. It's small stuff but-" His voice lowered more as he went on. "I can't do it alone. I need your help." Even if he wasn't the most forthcoming, one thing was certain, the level of his honesty. He spoke of what he knew, and refrained from what he was uncertain of. He had no social skills and never viewed himself to be anywhere close to charismatic, the only thread he hung on was the hope that Riyota also wanted to help the village.

His eyes lingered on the blonde, as none of the trio had divulged a name among the group. She had pointed that out, but he wasn't in any rush to verbalize something he viewed as so unimportant. Like a name. It wasn't as if he truly had one. Still, it was common courtesy to do such thing and though untaught in the ways of manners he'd been observing for long enough to pick up on some things. "Name's Makeinu...They took my ma'." His eyes showed a hint of sadness, but he didn't remove his mask regardless of how it made the others feel. He didn't know if he had the patience for this. Maybe if he opened up a little, but it was so...Difficult. If he was cut out to not simply go out into the world, but find others and be able to draw upon their strength and build bonds with them. It seemed like the most difficult thing in the universe, especially when he would have preferred to go it alone. Still, one or two other pair of eyes even if they didn't have any more strength than he would have been perfect. He needed to make his way to a place where he was not entirely welcome.

OC: It's alright, no one's supposed to really have prior knowledge about anything he's talking about. At least, except for The Cabal. I'm pretty sure their name and what they've done is village-wide news for quite some time now. More so than Project Rebirth/moving to the surface anyhow.

Re: Shocking Revelations [BL Topic: Open]

Riyota nodded along to what the boy was saying, he could see the logic in his statements, but he was still confused about how the Boy even knew about him in the first place. He decided to save that question for later. Did this guy really call me here because of my connection to the old man? or is there another reason...? He thought to himself, pushing those thoughts to the back of his mind he stood up straight once again.

His regular immature personality was uncapable of taking the forefront in that situation and so he spoke with a much more serious tone of voice. Well I can see you know who I am already, but for the benefit of you. He nodded to the girl My name's Riyota. Normally this would be followed by him going 'or Ri if you're feeling Lazy.' But frankly he wasn't in the mood, he was hot, he was annoyed, he was slightly grumpy to come all the way here to find cryptic answers rather than anything cool.

Still, at the same time Riyota was drawn in by the allure and mystery of what was going on, he was still a student, young and inexperienced, but the chance to prove his life was worth something definitely intrigued him, he began thinking over his options. He wasn't quite sure what was going to go on, or if it was a trap or what, but he decided he was willing to take that risk if he could possibly do something useful.

He cracked his neck slightly and sighed. I think I get where you're coming from, there may be parts I don't understand yet but I'm sure we'll figure that out along the way. You have some sort of plan to help our village with whatever 'war' it is you're talking about right? He asked the other boy. The tips of his fingers crackled with an oddly coloured energy, which almost looked like a mix of lightning and fire. I'm probably crazy for agreeing to go to war with 2 people I just met but...Eh, who cares, I'm in. A small smile began to crawl across his face.

But before we get going He giggled slightly, his usual persona coming back into play. I want some names, and none of the really cryptic stuff please. He laughed.

They may have said their names before, but Riyota certainly hadn't been listening.

Re: Shocking Revelations [BL Topic: Open]

Kara sweat dropped as the two boys basically ignored her as they spoke of war, the cabal and other things that meant nothing to the young lady purely because she had stayed separate of politics and trained quietly in the background making sure never to stir up trouble for herself but not much loner as it seems trouble has found her. "Hey um my name is Karasuba and I'm not sure what's going on right now I only know that all this talk of war is sending my anxiety and my chakra rocketing so unless you want another panic induced shock please tell me what's going on and what I've accidently stepped into." Kara said almost beseechingly. This was way too much for a thirteen year old to handle. While talking Kara had also continued edging around the room and now was resting comfortable with her back against a corner so she could keep an eye on everyone.

Makeinu also seemed to have the same idea as he had also back away to his own part of the room most likely to avoid another lightning shock to the system.

Re: Shocking Revelations [BL Topic: Open]

Talking wasn't something that he enjoyed doing very much, and each word seemed to put a strain on his spirit as they were squeezed out of him and dispensed to his temporary companions. He was neither attractive nor charismatic, which made connecting with others all the more difficult. The last set of words to leave his mouth left a bitter aftertaste, especially since it was simultaneously the most he could say about Shiori and such a pseudo-reference it barely held truth to it. She had adopted him, but less than twenty four hours within a person's care didn't exactly make them your mother. It didn't really make you their friend. Not unless there was something not quite right with you, and he had just enough damage for that to be the case. He dared not call her any of the former things, not openly or within his heart, but she was a friendly face...She was a soul that cared.

The fleeting sadness that swept over him was summarily buried by growing discontentment. Just when he was about to give up, walk away, and find a way of solving his problems without anyone else at his back, Riyota would speak up. Giving a small blink, he'd only nod in confirmation to signify that he did indeed have a plan of action already formed. He observed the energy forces from Riyota's hand, and the nonchalant way he went about accepting to participate. The smile given was returned with a somewhat pleased look, if one could tell with his mask covering his mouth and all. By the time the blonde started speaking, it seemed quite clear that she wasn't really up to date on current events. How one could have lived as a member of Sunagakure and not be aware of the massive attacks that rocked the village and essentially jump-started Project Rebirth in the first place, was a mystery beyond him. It was likely that she had parents who sheltered her from much, and likely told her it was a simple earthquake while keeping the door's locked.

Whatever the case might have been, he took note of her name and the warnings she gave as well. He wanted to groan, stab himself in the stomach for trying whatever it was that he was attempting. All this social interaction he'd never been prepared for, trying to put his words together in a way to convey something accurately to a mind entirely separate from one's own. It was never as easy as it seemed. "Like I said, name's Makeinu." It was a strange name, definitely to give one's offspring. A word that meant little more than 'Loser' or 'Underdog', it was no surprised that Riyota double backed and asked for something seemingly more appropriate. The fact was, he had no other name. "I'd keep the shocks to a minimum if I were you." A single serious quip was passed to her. He felt trapped, and inept between the two of them. "As for what happened, it's a very long story that started without us any way. Elders, if you could call 'em that, are always hurting each other over the dumbest things. This is no different from what I know, people wanting to control others, which they have no right to do in the first place, seems to be the end goal. I could go on about how attacking Sand would accomplish this, but I ain't no teacher and going over what's already happened is wasting the time we could be using to make something else happen." He paused, staring directly at Karasuba for a moment. Riyota was a given, he was either going to help or not based on his whimsy and it proved in Makeinu's favor. Karasuba however; looked as if she had just walked in on the plot of the century she'd never been warned about. Which was accurate.

Re: Shocking Revelations [BL Topic: Open]

Riyota nodded along as Makeinu made his points, he was in agreement with most of them, though he got the feeling that Makeinu had some hidden agenda he wasn't telling them about, but he decided to leave that for later. His immaturity washed aside for now he decided to confirm everything. Though he still also had no idea how Karasuba didn't know who the Cabal are, but he couldn't be bothered going over it right now and decided to leave that for later as well.

So let me get this straight.
He could see Makeinu's patience was wearing thin so he decided to keep it short You think there's a war going on that requires us? You invited me here because of my Relation to Kuro, and the Girl happened to be here as a bonus? He asked, making sure he had everything right, after finishing the checklist he smirked.

Sounds more interesting than what I was gonna do otherwise.

Re: Shocking Revelations [BL Topic: Open]

Karasuba sighed as these two talked of wars and plot but really they were still kids and not even that skilled. They were still close to the bottom rung of the shinobi ladder and anything they did for or too the village wouldn't matter in the long run. Compared to what Makeinu the head case was talking about, Kara's own problems seemed very small and easily to fix by just talking with her parents. At that thought Kara's chakra visible died down leaving the group in darkness just as Riyota finished talking so taking this chance Kara stumbled across the warehouse to where she knew the door was and quickly stepped out into the brighter hallways with a sigh of relief. "Why does everyone have to plot." She muttered to herself as she quickly walked back to her home to speak to her parents.

[Topic Left]

[Nothing against you guys but based on my char's personality and desires she wouldn't help you guys at all. so i'll just leave it here for Kara and do my BL request.]

Re: Shocking Revelations [BL Topic: Open]

More often than not, people weren't capable of seeing the bigger picture. It wasn't entirely their fault, far too conditioned to be more concerned with their own personal affairs to care about what would invariably affect them at some point int he future. It was assumed that strength and power could only be found in the amount of damage or destruction one could cause, but only thought of in a physical sense. It would terrify most to know just how drastically different history and the modern day would be had it not been for the efforts of those considered irrelevant due to not being in the spotlight. Not everyone carried the biggest guns, but those who carried the biggest guns didn't always have the bigger minds. An underdeveloped mind would have a hard time understanding which of the two possessions were the more dangerous.

He could see the anxiety building up within the girl named Karasuba. It was a testament to the preference of the modern human to shy away from things they felt were beyond their level, that there were others in the world far more qualified and developed to handle these things already in existence. Why bother? Riyota's final words of agreement and interest were what Makeinu had been waiting to hear, and the original intent of the meeting had been to secure his cooperation in the first place. This unexpected girl, he wondered as the bolts of electrical energy began to fizzle and die out, he could hear her moving towards the exit and the increasing speed of alternating footsteps as she hastily tried to escape. Makeinu couldn't help himself as his mouth stretched into a close-lipped grin almost as magnificent as the grin his breathing mask would sport upon the darker energies seeping out as they had done before.

Riyota would hear a small laugh, but what exactly he found funny wouldn't be elaborated on in the dark. "Take tonight and get your stuff together. I'll meet you outside the Toraono Dojo in the early morning if you ain't changed your mind or nuthin'." He didn't have the ability to light up the room with his own power, nor that of the elements. The only remaining illumination was such a dim and faint crimson glow from his bloodied irises, that seemed to not quite be there at all. The demonic blood transfusion was having effects that Kuro, and surely the others who worked on Makeinu as their brief project did not anticipate. The barely luminous pair of scarlet orbs could be seen nearing Riyota before vanishing as Makeinu closed his lids and walked by. "Thanks." It had taken a lot for him to open his mouth and as what he had from others, and at least one out of two was a major victory when a boy like him hadn't an ounce of charisma or appeal. Everything about him screamed 'Danger', 'Warning', 'Problem', and still Riyota as someone who also was under the tutelage of the horned Sennin wasn't deterred by strange appearances or behavior. Kuro himself was the farthest thing from normal you'd see in Sunagakure.

He moved quickly, but silently into the flickering lights that illuminated the halls outside the storage units. Would he have allowed Karasuba to leave had they been alone? Was she a liability to their efforts knowing what she knew? It was perplexing, the fact that everything was supposed to have a reason and a purpose and yet all he saw in her at this point was fear and apathy. Was that her purpose? To show him what the dominant thought process of the average was? Manipulating lightning was nothing considered normal in any other part of the world, but bending the elements seemed to be a skill every person he'd met was capable of to some degree except for himself. He was the one that did not quite fit. It was time to go.

OC: Nothing personal taken at all my good friend. If nothing else this will add a certain thin layer of familiarity should their paths cross in the distant future, should any of us three survive that long. I like the idea of the other students/citizens/pupils becoming more aware of each other even if not really close. In the same way Naruto's group and other groups aren't usually together at all besides the growing pains/end-games.

Re: Shocking Revelations [BL Topic: Open]

Riyota watched as the lights dimmed and Karasuba walked away, part of his mind was relieved, He had nothing against her personally but she thought she might hurt herself jumping into the fray with her current skill, (admittedly he was no expert so what he was thinking could seem hypocritical) but the other half of his mind was slightly disappointed at her attitude towards the whole thing.

He adjusted his attention to Makeinu, whom he could hear laughing? Riyota wasn't quite sure as he couldn't see much of the other boy apart from his unnerving crimson eyes. Riyota was told to meet Makeinu outside the Toraono dojo. This kind of excited him, this was the first time he was going to leave the village.

But he wasn't stupid, he knew he was going to have to have one eye on Makeinu at all times, just as Makeinu would have one eye on him, they both knew they couldn't trust each other yet. Riyota's gaze met Makeinu's, his vibrant green eyes almost contrasting the dull glow of Makeinu's red.
Riyota was going to play along, for now at least.

You got it, I'll meetcha there. He smirked, Death or no Death.

This was gonna be fun.

[Eh if it's not your thing, it's not your thing, you go do you, you magnificent human being :p]
