Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Ever since she was a child, Shun Sora seemed to have an unrivaled amount of energy. While her mother tried to teach her about botany, her fathers tutelage in the more practical shinobi arts seemed to come natural to her. No matter how hard he tried or pushed her in training, she never seemed to grow tired. In fact, she even had a hard time just staying still for more than a few seconds and would rush to try out any new technique he could teach her. As she grew older, and started her career as a shinobi, this passive trait soon proved vital to her success. Whenever she'd run out of chakra, as opposed to her peers, she would simply continue on and would just naturally recoup her energy along the way.

Roleplay for Jutsu Mastery
Throughout the years Shun Sora focused primarly on training her Ninjutsu skills to their absolute peak. Thanks to her natural chakra affinity, water ninjutsu came natural, and the other elements soon followed. Memorizing the techniques were rather easy, but performing them was an entirely different story. With time, however, this didn't matter much. While still a chuunin Shun Sora began to master the known and most common base elemental ninjutsu techniques she could. Along the way her Chakra control improved so much, she quickly realized that with each use she would use less chakra. Astounded at this fact she wondered just how much further she could it. For now, time would tell but at the very least, her curiosity was peaked.

After some time of just attempting to master jutsu, shun sora decided it was time to take a break from just ninjutsu. She was fatigued from the daily expenditure of her chakra reserves and she knew that just having the knowledge of jutsu wasn't enough to keep her alive in the midst of combat. There were other skills she needed to develop and one of them in particular was the ability to quickly react to an opponents mistakes and counter strike when they were vulnerable. The first thing she had to do was train her eyes to gather and process every small detail in the shortest amount of time she possibly could. After that, she had to learn properly counter an opponent in several different ways. Seeking her fathers help, she started a series of training sessions with him. While he was the aggressor, she would defend and wait for her moment to strike. It took quite a while for her to learn, grow, and incorporate these types of tactics into her natural fighting style, but she eventually managed.

After some time of training other skills necessary to survive in this world, Shun Sora figured it was time to get back to her preferred style of combat. Having already mastered several dozen elemental ninjutsu, she wondered what was next. Thinking back to her time in the academy, she remembered some lessons about jutsu affinities skills. This was something she hadn't thought about in years, but perhaps now was the time to incorporate something new. Her memory of her academy days wasn't perfect, so she decided to seek out some help. Hunting down an old tutor of hers, she convinced them to help her out. Her explained that her mastery of jutsu, and their intricate inner workings would be the key to further manipulating her ninjutsu and exploring new ways to use them. Luckily for her, she was already half way there so she had high hopes that this skill would already be within her reach.

For the next few weeks that followed, Shun Sora practiced daily. Before long, she gained the ability to overcharge her techniques, expand them, and even learned how to channel her elemental affinities into basic weapons. This was the start of something new as ideas began to flood her mind. It seemed like she was just breaking the ice when it came to the possibilities of what ninjutsu could actually accomplish. Shun Sora knew this was more common than she had originally thought it to be, but she was curious if she could take it to the next level. The goal was to not only manipulate and change her jutsu in one way, but in multiple. At first it was rather difficult, with with time she learned how to spread and combo her ninjutsu together. She was now able to take and combine what was known as a minor affinity move and a major affinity move into one jutsu.

As a Shinobi, Shun Sora knew how important it was to understand the human body. In fact, back in her academy days, she remembered going over a few very specific subjects pertaining to this. It was important for her, and all of her classmates, be cable of incapacitate an enemy as quickly as possible. Back then they studies several organs, their functions, and a relative position within their bodies. After that, the tutor set up practiced targets with marks all over them and had Sora and her classmates practice striking them from a distance. This was considered one of the fundament skills that she and many of her peers needed to master.

While some of her peers moved on, Sora was focused on mastering and understanding this skill. As she grew older her practice and dedication to mastering the basics continued. After quite some time, her techniques appeared to be more lethal and precise.

Now that she had the might of a leviathan trapped within her, Sora began to experience many new and different changes within herself. Drawing inspiration from her days at the academy, she felt it was time to go back to the basics and both improve her control over chakra, as well as the amount she has access to. Her training began where she felt most at home, standing on top of flowing river. The Water Walking technique was something she had mastered as a Genin, and was essential to any would be Shinobi. However, doing so on a river with a strong current of rushing water required much more focus and control. With her mastery over water release, many would assume this an easy task, if not for the fact Sora had decided to disrupt her concentration by firing off several high leveled ninjutsu while trying to maintain her balance of mind, her footing on the waters top, and her flow of chakra. This form of training was all about constant usage, exhausting her chakra reserves, and forcing herself to manipulate different natures of chakra simultaneously. For the a few weeks, or maybe a couple of months, this would be Sora's training regimen.

The art of destroying your opponent comes in many forms. For most, simply striking vital organs for a quick take down is enough. However, Shun Sora prefers a different method. The ability to temporarily disable an opponent on the fly was somewhat of a preference for her. Having experienced so much loss in her life, she felt there were really no reason for her to take one. Being able to incapacitate someone by breaking and arm or leg, while somewhat barbaric, was much easier for her to come to terms with. Her training to do this consisted of basic strikes with her weapons, with pinpoint precision, aimed at joints of an opponents limbs. While she is a long way from mastering this ability, she is constantly making strides to improve herself.

As a shinobi, being able to mold chakra and perform high leveled ninjutsu seemed almost as necessary being able to wield a kunai or throw a smoke bomb. However, this wasn't enough for most people. Sora, specifically, valued her swordsmanship skills and with those skills brought along new challenges. With close quartered combat came new challenges. Being able to dodge, counter, and parry an attack was absolutely necessary. Training with others at the local training grounds had become some sort of a hobby for her. With time and practice, as with any other activity in life, Sora quickly became more adapt at dealing with these type of situations.

Taking the Initiative in combat could prove to ones survival and success. In doing so, one could simply gain the advantage just because they were a little bit faster than their opponent. Many Shinobi, Shun Sora included, had been taught this basic principle since the early days in the academy. Some would struggle with this, being scared or overly cautious, but Sora wasn't one of them. In her mind, if she got a decisive strike first, she could end the fight before it ever began. Training herself to resist all forms of hesitation and put one hundred percent effort into her strikes, Sora recklessly would jump into the midst of combat. This was her style and preferred way of doing things.

Sora knew all of her strengths and weaknesses, but throughout all of her years training she felt something was just off. Having recently learned and mastered many different types of sword techniques, she couldn't help but feel slow on the draw. Knowing that in the middle of combat a single second could change the outcome, for better or worse, she decided to change that problem. The only training method she could think of to help her was to simply get use to drawing her sword and sheathing it, by doing it countless times until she could instinctively perform the motion. Find a quiet and secluded place within the villages training area, Sora began doing just that. For days on end, she practiced drawing and immediately sheathing her Katana. Within a few days, the motion seemed natural as she used her hand and fingers to guide the blade in and out of its sheath. Eventually, she would go on to perform this action fast, and with more finesse.
