Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The travel down the mountain had been difficult on the youngest of their group. Yuii had forgotten what it was like to be so young and out of tune with chakra. They were like baby birds learning to fly; they tried, they lept but often the result was bumbling through the leaves. The elder Genin were there to help though, often there with an encouraging word or a tip on how to deal with slippery rocks or sharp inclines. There was only a few years difference between them, but the difference was easy to see. This was good for everyone.

The train ride was quiet once they reached the base of the mountain too. They had timed their decent to end with the night-train and so fed, warm and rocked by cart on track- they'd all slept. Even Yuii, especially Yuii. The train was like a second home once, and it was easy to allow herself to be pulled in by the safety of it, the lack of obligation. One could rest and still make it to their destination. It was a shame, she reflected, that Fire's railway was not yet fully operational. It would have been much nicer to spend most of the trip on-rail. There were food carts, everything was self-contained and just, cosy.

Alas, they eventually made it to the eastern port city of Kikotori. Exceptionally smaller than the trade city, port Cirrus to the west, there wasn't much more than the port, the houses of those who ran it and the entertainments for sailors. It wasn't even a main point of trade, just a usual stopover for the weary or during poor weather. Kumogakure had picked the spot because it would be devoid of distractions and keep their travel low-key. She had the Raikage with her, after all, and some might take advantage if they knew when and to where he was going. Nevermind the dozens Kumogakure's future shinobi and new tenures.

Somehow, magically, everything went smoothly.

It was like being under blue skies but hearing thunder on the horizon. Who knew putting dozens of children on a boat and putting it to sea could lead to chaos.
