Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Name: Umemoto
Description:
Umemoto is compromised of the water element belived to have been first sighted in some undisclosed port as a guardian of sorts to protect fishermen and traders from the dangers that lurked in the waters. Umemoto is an imposing figure that is certainly massive in size though it's true height and width are up for debate given the fact the creature seems to be made of the waves itself and has no solid form. It is said that when Umemoto arises, the clouds will darken especially equivalent to that of a thunderstorm in the making and the downpour will be so great that slight flooding will start to collect in the area. Once the water levels have reached an appropiate height, the color of the floodwater will turn a bright blue glowing for a moment before rising dramtically before descending like a wave crashing and it is from this wave that Umemoto will be formed blue and glowing along with two glowing orbs that serve as his eyes and two watery arms. The only facial features that will be missing are a nose and mouth yet it has the capabilty of voice somehow.

Personality:
Umemoto is fiercly loyal and protective yet also has a very aggresive side to him. This is due to the fact the elemental has spent hundreds of years serving under various shinobi who have traveled the seas protecting them from all things that lurk in the deep but in the end, they all perished. Umemoto takes this as a personal insult on his ability and willingless and as such makes it his personal goal not to repeat that mistake. As such, he can be extremely overprotective, asks too many questions at times but will put up a good fight if you push him to the limit. However, he also has a rather comical side to him to those who he befriends in an attempt to forge closer bonds so he may better understand how they operate and how he can better serve as their shield. All in all, Umemoto is a creature with a fierce unbreakable bond to those he loves but will make a terrible foe to be reckoned with.

History:
It is said that the tale of the lone ANBU Captain and this water being is one that is still being told in that port town where Soku, head of the Santaru clan was dispatched to. On an assignment to protect a few traders from bandits that had been ravaging the area, the kunoichi for a couple of months or took aboard their ship as a means of security. The traders in question hailed from a rather shady part of Crater City known for exchanging in illicit goods and Soku had her qualms about them. Eventually, she would come to the terrible realization that the traders she had taken on with were the bandits she was seeking after all and trapped with them at sea, there was no way out as she made a final last stand against the thieves who gave it their all trying to kill the ANBU. It would be at this moment however that something quite unique would happen. It happened to be a rainy day and the thunderstorms were far more aggresive than usual, in the midst of the fight, one of the bandits managed to grab ahold of Soku's sword and was about to run her through with it when a huge wave crashed aboard the ship washing the villan overboard. The waves continued battering the stricken ship sending each man overboard and as the Captain looked up, she would see a towering posing figure with glowering eyes directing the waves as it lowered it's hands to entrap the Captain in an air bubble.

It would speak to her in a language she could not understand at the time as Umemoto made the journey to return her to the shores of Fire Country, they passed many towns and lands. They would get in a few conflicts and each time, she would admire the passion and ferocity with how Umemoto solved the situation. After asking him why he went to such measures for people that he probably would never see again, Umemoto replied it was once a shinobi that once taught him that true peace and harmony can never be achieved solo, one must work in cooperation with others to flourish. This same shinobi was Umemoto's previous master that was killed by the same bandits he had rescued Soku from and he gave his thanks for Soku saying that had it not been for her, he never would been any step closer to the men responsible for this horrendous deed.

In awe of how much their paths had crossed, Soku gave him an ultimatum. He could return to being the unseen guardian of the various ports and docks he traveled or he could learn to honor his master's legacy under her. She would show him what Umemoto's owner meant explaining to him the Will of Fire and it was a statement that Umemoto thought rung very closely to what his owner had been preaching. Telling her he would dwell on it before disappearing into the depths of the ocean, Soku and Umemto met again when the Captain was back revisitng a town ravaged by a hurricane only to find out it was no hurricane. Umemto in his excitment and happiness had accidently wrecked the town and after a few apologetic statements and the appropiate repairs, Umemoto said he had accepted her offer as the day he had left her on the shores saying he had been watching her and after seeing despite all that happened and townspeole who harbored a great hostilty towards her and Umetoto for the damage done and still helping them, he was briefly reminded of his master who no matter the reaction still went out of his way. It was in this moment the ANBU Captain and Umemoto agreed that they would become a duo the kind the world has never seen before.

For your contract's custom class:
Although I appreciate the pre-calculated HP and CP values, it would be easier in general if you used modifiers instead. This is because your modifiers are 20 points higher than they should be- with 2 stats in high and 2 in low, your total should be 60 (10 less than the base of 70). Your modifiers come out to 50 HP and 30 CP, assuming S-Rank.

Aside from that, everything looks good! It'd be helpful if you could link your augments to the items in your inventory, but they're on the first page so I could verify manually.

Unlearning ability Wind- Chakra Style with 300 WC roleplay to learn a new ability right away
It was just like the first time. The time Soku had encountered her first missing attempt and that too had resulted in failure. Uchiha Takeshi's words still rang through her head when one of Konhagakure's famed Sennin had turned rogue and made for the gates and torn between personal attachments and loyalty, Soku had chosen her loyalty to the village and it had cost her breaking her in body and spirit.

"Useless, all of it." She growled as she thrust her hands out sending a massive gust of wind that toppled a few young-aged trees glancing down at her gloves, the steel glinting in the sunglight as she shook her head, sweat trickling down her forehead as she did so. Where was this power when she needed it? Soku had tapped into her chakra, begged and pleaded not to let any more death afflict the village but no, life did not listen.

Now, it had struck again in the form of a missing and this time, her loyalty to the village had cost her the woman's heart and twenty-four brave souls of Konoha who had given their all for a village they had relied on to carry on their Will of Fire for them. Again, Soku had failed to fulfill that promise and it was due to her own inability. You couldn't win all your battles and despite this, many people still thought she was a formidable foe.

After all, a kunoichi who had lost a arm and her heart and was able to keep on going spoke miracles about the adventures and sacrifices she had made but Soku refused to let this define her. She would not rest until she could taste sweet victory, an story of avenging those who had fallen under her command as the woman brushed the dust off her hands shaking her head as she did so.

"A day will come when the names of the fallen are sung with praise, I will make sure of that. We won't be mourning them, we will be glorifying the fact that their promises were fulfilled with their dying breaths."

Soku said as her palm flicked out watching the wind chakra form into a shuriken slicing clean into a log, the severity and force of the breeze reminding her of the ease of which the missing had thrown her aside like a ragdoll. Why bother having a tool if it wasn't going to respond to your beck and call, the woman thought walking over and picking up what remained of the sticks and debris that had survived her training assualt.

A sure sign of what awaited any aggressor.

Learning ability Slashing - Physical Style with 100 WC requirement
The ringing sound of forged steel cutting through wood was enough to draw observes as Soku practiced in the training compound of the Levin Corps, the barracks housed within the safety and security of the clan grounds.

Each thrust, each feint and each flick of her wrist manevured the sword like it was an brush painting a portrait, her focus and attention solely driven by one thing and that was to be effcient and blunt as possible. There was no time to waste in a combat situation, you had to act, the plan had to be thought out already, any lingering and you would be carried home in a coffin.

Her swordwork was a blur making it hard for the naked eye to follow but before long, the wooden dummy that had been propped up lay at her feet in a smithereen of wood splinters as Soku panted wiping some of the sweat off her brow. "Another cycle, Miyuki."

"My lady, you have been going at it for quite some time. I do suggest that we-"

"Another." She was not budging on this. The enemy did not take breaks so why would they?

"As you command, my lady."

Before long, several other dummies lay, the outcome same as the first as Soku, finally content with this nodded sheathed her sword, her body swaying from fatigue as her assistant rant to hold her up. "That is enough, Soku-sama. You will rest."

Too weak to even fire back a response, she allowed Miyuki to escort her inside though having been given a first-hand view of just what the Sennin could do with her blade alone, it sent the silent message that her mastery of the sword was one that spoke from volumes of experience and effort and was not to be trifiled with.
