Personality: He is not very smart but he means well, he is just a kid with selfish needs and ambitions. What he wants from life is shallow, he wants to love a pretty girl and be loved back. He wants to be strong to impress pretty girls. He wants to be well-regarded among his peers. He wants to find a way of fitting in.
History: He was born into a shinobi family. He was encouraged to join the academy at the age of 8 by his mother. He was ready to graduate by the age of 10, an average student but capable of graduation. However he was enamored by his teacher, she was beautiful and he decided that he would rather stay, So, he failed his exam. He did this five times in a row, often by missing the exam or messing up in some egregious manner. This year, being his final year as a student because his other teachers took action, he was dragged to his final exam in his bedclothes. He passed and with a heavy heart he left the school. He confessed his love to his teacher, of course she took it as a boyish crush and laughed it off but he took her reply as she shared the same desires as he. So with his lady love in the back of his mind he now wishes to embark on an adventure that makes him worthy of her hand (or the hand of someone significantly hotter because she will probably be old by then).
