There was a slight wind breeze in the air as the trees swayed to and fro. The Santaru male was making his way through the foresty trails seeking to reach the hard, rough surfaces of the Lightning Country. Somehow, he had gained exit through the exits but now the real challenge awaited. One, that if sucessful, could spell victory for the task ahead of him. That was a simple task for most shinobi, that is, to gain entry to a village but for him coming from somewhere with no documentation and no passport, he would have to flavor his words. As usual, his famed spear he restes against his broad shoulders, the glint of the steel tip reflecting in the bright glare of the sun. From time to time, he would glance back every so often to assure he was not being followed. After all, there were those within the clan who would very much like nothing more than to see him broken and battered. The Santaru had fallen out among themselves. On one side, you had the loyalists, corruption and greed filled their heart and they sided with the current tyrant head of the clan. On the other, you had the revolutionists, ones seeking a true form of leadership. It was them who had sent that secret note to Nibachi seeking his aid and experience as a former shinobi and advisor on the clan council. Plus, they had offered him full restoration of his positions and a bit of yen as payment plus Santaru Soku would be allowed to fully enter the clan if she so wished. The offer was not a bad one so rest assured, he would have to suceed in this effort or die trying.
