Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Steve’s shield was on mankind’s greatest weapons ever built. On the paragon’s of justice hands, that item was more than a defensive weapon. It was his weapon of choice and the only one he needed. It was part of his soul. Lore dictated Captain America had been slain while raiding a Hydra Outpost somewhere around the borders of the Fire Country and the Wind Country. Since the institution of SHIELD, his agents, albeit few, had been mapping out any and all outposts of that damned organization. Luckily, there were few left in the world, at least in both of those two countries. A few of them were not far from major settlements, but only two of them were located far in the rims of the country. One them had been marked as deactivated, and effectively, in ruins. While the other was still up and operating.

Normally Kazuki would not listen to his soul’s requests, but given that the vibranium shield was such a magnificent item, he would do so this time. After memorizing the location of that particular’s Hydra outpost, the Director of SHIELD, departed Sunagakure with a single goal in his mind. Retrieve Steve’s shield and destroy that Hydra’s cell, permanently. Using his abilities to merge with shadows, Reaper shortened what would be a week’s travel into a mere day.

The place were the outpost was located was a complete desolate one. Nothing could be glimpsed because the outpost was underground. The agents had given him a map that detailed the layout. 6 rooms and lots of hallways. The entrance was above ground,a cave of sorts, that should be guarded. Finding it would not be hard, given he was in a plain field. Entering could not be so easy. After spending a few minutes scanning the area with his black irised eyes, the Ranger Lord found what he was looking for. A cave, not far from him, toward North. Where he was at, it seemed the cave was unguarded, but he was certain that was not the case at all. Shrouding himself in think, dense shadows, the silvery haired man made his way toward the entrance.

Shrouded as he was, the Deep Court Hybrid easily reached the entrance without any trouble. If there were any guards or defensive mechanisms to prevent the entrance of anyone non-Hydra, they were all fooled by how concealed he was. The cave was not deep and at its end, there was a wooden door that was wide open. Circular stairs downwards were the way to go. Silently, Kazuki made his way down, passing through no one as he descended into the outpost itself. Eventually, the Senju Overlord would reach a lightly lit hallway. It was entirely made of stone, a man-made corridor, with lamps at specific intervals. Lamps that gave enough ambient light so traversing the corridor was easy enough, but still not clarity enough to destroy the White Wolf’s shadowy cover.

The silvery haired man slowly made his way through the corridor unimpeded. After several meters in a straight line, the hallway ended in a metal door that was shut. There was only one way to enter, opening the door and seeing what was on the other side. His cover would be immediately blown away, since a door opening on itself would be a ridiculous notion. Unless the room on the other side was completely void of people. With a simple tap, the door would open completely, without a making a single sound. Luckily, it was well oiled up.

There three Hydra men inside this room, that seemed to the main hall of the outpost, judging from its sheer size and because the back Wall had three more doors. Fortunately, all three individuals had their backs toward the entrance door. A classic mistake that they would pay with their lives. Shadow tendrils would be shot from the Ranger Lord’s body. Silently and deadly, the would wrap themselves around each men’s throat, pinning them in place and slowly suffocating them. Their bodies would be afflicted with spasms as their life was slowly taken away. Once dead, the Occult Sennin’s shadows would drop them on the ground and the Director of SHIELD would properly enter the room.

This seemed to be a poor outpost. The walls were void of anything and there were only three tables, large enough to accommodate three men on each side. As Kazuki reached the bodies, three, glowing, blue orbs would escape the corpses and enter his body. A moment later he would inspect the bodies and he would find something he had never expected, in one of them. A large, metallic piece of Captain America’s shield. Somehow, the unthinkable had happened. The unbreakable shield had been splintered. And apparently, some of those eighteen men, had a piece with them. It would seem his task had been shifted into killing each and every last tone of them. And then raiding their, still fuming, bodies for loot.

Three doors, three choices. The Senju Overlord went with the leftmost one first. Still shrouded in darkness, he found himself in yet, another corridor, lightly lit as the first one. And just like before, it also ended in another metallic door. Repeating the process, the silvery haired man would open the door and he would find himself inside the outpost’s armory. There was nothing interesting inside, except for one small thing. A pedestal, right in the middle of the room, holding another piece of the vibranium shield. Picking it up, the White Wolf would return to the main hall.

Door number three this time. A third corridor that also ended on a metallic door. As Reaper opened it up, he found three more men inside. They were all chatting, but as soon as the door opened, weapons were immediately picked up. Unfortunately for them, they were not facing an ordinary foe. Several tendrils were shot, and each men found themselves impaled to death. In death, one of them dropped another piece of the shield. After three more souls, plus the piece, had been collected, the Ranger Lord returned to the main hall. There was only one way to go now, and, assuming the tables were correct, still 12 individuals to slain.

Still following a stealthy route, the Occult Sennin opened the last door, and unsurprisingly, walked through another corridor. The end was not on sight though, as a sharp turn to the right, prevented him from seeing where the hallway ended. The Director of SHIELD would stop before making the turn. Listening to whatever sounds he could pick up. The sound of many voices reached his eyes, although they came out muffled, as if whoever was speaking was doing so, behind shut doors. Taking a sneak peek around the corner, the Deep Court Hybrid would discover the end of the corridor. Two metallic doors barred him from entering the last room. The voices were coming from behind the doors.

Although, certainly stronger than any of them, he still had to play smart. He was outnumbered and it would be suicide to merrily enter the room without any sort of plan. Shadows would begin to drip from his sleeves. A pool would be formed at his feet, that would begin to move away and enter the room. The dripping would continue endlessly. He would wait a few minutes and after summoning Frostmourne to his right hand, Kazuki would kick the doors open. The room, now visible as the War Room of the outpost, was almost fully covered in pitch black darkness. In a way, he had placed it inside his Shadow Dimension. The Hydra operatives had all taken cover, or defensive positions, and patiently waited to see whatever threat had come for them. They had proven to be smart enough, since neither had rushed head first, which would proven to be a suicide, against a man like the Senju Overlord. But their actions were also their downfall. They were already inside the White Wolf’s trap. As the room was fully enclosed in shadows, visibility was completely nullified. The silvery haired man did not require to find where they were, not anymore at least. Sword firmly gripped in his right hand, he would swiftly traverse the room and slaughter each and everyone of them. As the shadows receded, all twelve men had been slain. After inspecting the bodies, Kazuki would find another piece of the shield.

By placing all of them together, he concluded he had them all. But the shield could be used like that. It needed to be fixed. But how? That was something to figure out in another day. The Director of SHIELD would place a few explosive notes around the outpost and as he left, he ignited them, destroying it. It was time to return.
