[Akira Kazan]

Some time ago, Kazan had called out the village's leadership. At that point in time, it was to test their resolve and see if they'd react; spoiler, they did. However, now that time had passed and Kazan had stepped up to become a Sennin himself, his curiosity had piqued. Was he just in the right place at the right time? Or, was he truly worthy to stand among them. Work as a Sennin had been rough, and more time consuming than he had originally anticipated, but he tried his best. That being said, he hardly ever had time to train and push himself these days. But, even when he did find time to, instead he spent it hunting just to relieve stress. Because of that, he was a little worried that he might have gotten a little rusty.

In truth, during his journey he had lost a large part of the strength he was so proud of, and somehow developed new, odd, techniques. As a result, Kazan didn't know his ceiling or what he was fully capable of these days. But hopefully, that would all change soon. Several weeks prior, Kazan had sent a letter to the Anbu Sennin, Abyss, requesting her assistance. That letter explained how during his journey he somehow lost access to his Sharingan, and developed new combat abilities. It also explained that he hadn't had much time to thoroughly test his abilities with his new position, and was wanting a capable training partner.

This letter wasn't a challenge, but a request to help him find his ceiling and perhaps to relieved some stress along the way. He didn't know if this would help her in any way, but it would perhaps be a great way for the two of them to form some type of a bond, or hopefully build some form of trust. After all, knowing you have a strong ally to rely on was comforting and hopefully he could give her that type of reassurance.

With his intentions made clear, he would show up here today dressed in a different type of armor than usual. While still armor, it was more of the medium type; tighter fitting to his body, allowing for more maneuverability. His classic red cape draped from his shoulders, a golden colored belt, and his hair loosely tied hanging down. His once regal and well maintained beard was now scruffy in apperance, giving off an exhausted look to his face. He knew he had let his personal apperance get slightly out of control, but at least his armor was freshly shined and well maintained. Though, that did make him wonder what abyss looked like. Honestly, he didn't really know her true name or what she looked like. For all he knew, he passed her everyday and thought nothing of her being a fellow Sennin. "I wonder." He thought to himself. "Hopefully she has time today." He told himself, as he thought of everything he had caught her doing since he became a Sennin.

[Chigokai Yuna]

Yuna had gotten a letter recently from the Main branch Sennin. Apparently, he had asked one of her agents to give it to her. Upon reading the contents of the letter, she figured out what it would be. Initially, it is stated that this is to test out his powers as such, since he has become rusty and he has gone through some sort of change. In truth, Yuna herself has also gone through a change too. Her abilities as a Chimera had changed her powers a small bit since her fight against Tama from Sand.

She may be a Sennin, but she is now about to face someone who is her equal. Underneath her Anbu garb she wore a heavy set of armor. It provides protection, but also tactically speaking, hinders her movements. But that is no problem for her as she has other ways to compensate for such a thing. Her footsteps barely making any noise as she enters the arena. Kazan himself looks more imposing than her, being in armor and standing a full foot and some inches taller than her, while she seems to be just a smaller, hooded figure.

"I suppose this will be a duel then. But do remember, whilst we are testing our ceilings, as you say, going overboard will be detrimental to the Village." She had scoped out the place beforehand, and it was empty with the exception of Kazan. But she just knows how things can go if two Sennin-level ninja get carried away. Heck, she had first-hand experience handling Tama, whom wreaked havoc at the Gates. And if they do go overboard and one gets severely injured... Well... The Village will have to be compensating for a potential lost Sennin.

"Thank you for your time." He said shortly after she had finally arrived. While he hadn't waited very long at all, he would've gladly waited hours for the opportunity. Abyss has this certain air of mystic about her that only served to fuel his curiosity. While this situation was just to knock off some rust, and hopefully learn more about themselves, this would serve as a perfect chance to clear his mind and sever whatever doubts he had about his own strength.

Taking notice of the size difference, he figured he'd immediately be at a disadvantage in terms of speed. In his mind, he knew this meant he'd have to start off defensively, and gradually work into a more calculated offence. "Big things come in small packages." He thought to himself, wondering what kind of feats of strength she might be able to pull off. Kazan wasn't going to underestimate Abyss, even for a second. Even though she said something about going overboard, and it being detrimental to the village, he wanted her absolute best. Without saying a word, the expression on his face and the aura his demeanor alone gave off should be enough for her to realize; he didn't want her to hold back.

Of course, he wanted no harm to come to anyone or anything within the village. Some of his more flashy techniques would need to be carefully used, though the Arena they stood within just so happened to be well built and designed for this type of thing. The stern look he had dawned, since becoming a Sennin, began to fade as a smirk crept across his face. The pace of his heartbeat would slowly increase, as his blood began to boil and rush all throughout his veins. "A duel? You mean our training exercise, right? Officially anyway...." He'd say playfully. If Lady Kitsune found out her Sennin were having a dual, who knows what she'd think.

Taking a more formal, empty handed fighting stance with one hand raised into the air, he gritted his teeth as an odd whirling sound began to fill the air. Within a second, a giant axe appeared in the sky, only to slam down into the ground behind him. Theatrical? Perhaps, but this house sized battle axe was his 'Oni Weapon", and the source of his new found power. "At your leisure." He'd tell her, putting the ball in her court. Kazan wasn't about to rush into this.

Yuna listened to his blood flow, an indication of the adrenaline running through his veins. But there was another, up in the stands. She shown no indication that she knew, rather, she put her attention to the man that towered over her. Suddenly, an axe the size of a house slammed into the ground behind him. Her eyes narrowed as she got into a fighting stance, her body low to the ground. Looks like this will be far more physical than the Ryuu Tama fight.

And despite her warning, she thinks that he intends to give it his all. Well... She guess that she'll have to respond the same.

And so the battle begins. She noticed right off the bat, as she entered divinity's edge, that Kazan was already coming at her. Wind surrounded her as she attempted to dodge the attack only to still be hit. It wasn't the initial hit that mattered, no, but what came next. She felt her nervous system being attacked.

"There are very few people who understand the potency of poison and can utilize it well." She seen two Kazan's and one of which attacked. She was able to hit off a supreme aqua realm on him, which she can only guess to be the real one. But this wasn't just any ordinary supreme aqua realm, no. She put forth her chakra into it and turned it into a dark crimson. Blood. Warm and very viscous type of liquid that both helps impairs vision along with suffocation chance. Such a thing won't faze her, but only time will tell for Kazan.

She then seen him slam his weapon into the ground and the whole arena started to fill up with poison. So.... You're one of those types of people... Yuna summoned Noa just as she dodged Kazan rushing at her. The moment Noa appeared, they fused together, leaving a type of aura around Yuna as she would prepare for the next barrage of attacks.

As the fight began, Kazan's eyes focused heavily on Abyss, as his body passively switched into a unique style that combined two entirely different styles into one. Simultaneously, he passively used a genjutsu technique to create clones of himself as he rushed in for his attack. Abyss was skilled; her reflexes, without a doubt, were obviously honed to the highest degree. The reflective use of a Ninjutsu technique, one which he himself knew but never truly considered, seemed to only pique his interest further. Still though, his attack made contact; a unique and advanced form of poisons would seep into Abyss's wound. Did she have any idea of how many? How would she react? Kazan wondered, as she spoke about it.

She was, without a doubt, perceptive; though, that was to be expected by an Anbu of the highest caliber. "It's just fundamental." He said, downplaying his use of them. From there, black energy quickly formed into his hands, taking the shape of a battle axe, as he went back on the offence. His technique of choice, a Taijutsu technique written about in history alone; Low Tide. Missing the first strike, and landing the following two his technique seemingly failed; something sort of to be expected. Only Muramasa had truly mastered this technique, but it was worth a try. Gritting his teeth, he opened his hand as his Oni weapon dispersed, before reaching to his side and drawing his saber.

Quickly, he touched the blades steel as his dark energy poured into it, weaponizing his his kado techniques. With this, he prepared to perform a unique technique that would affect the entire battlefield. However, Abyss had finally went on the offensive herself; watching as a massive read bubble of blood would seemingly appear around him, he took a deep breath before being overcome. Everything around him had turned red, and instantly in the back of his mind he knew. "Blood user...." He thought, recognizing the technique as a high level Water based Ninjutsu. Without a doubt, she had exposed something about herself that he hadn't even considered.

Unable to speak, out of fear of losing his breathe, he continued as he slammed his saber, tip first, into the ground. Soon, a field of grass, flowers, and reeds would form around them; the ultimate technique his his recently awakened bloodline limit. He wondered if she would recognize the technique, or if she knew what it meant. Regardless, the terrain had become his weapon and it was infused with his choice of poisonous technique. The flowers and reeds would immediately attack Abyss, only to make contact as well. It had now affected her as well. "Genjutsu turned into poisons, on top of enhanced engineered poisons. Surely she'll waste time dispersing them." He thought to himself, as he went in for another strike.

As of late, Ninjutsu hadn't been his preferred method of attack, but with the poisons affecting Abyss he felt somewhat comfortable attempting it. However, he seemed to miss; the blood realm had obscured his vision, or perhaps even enhanced Abyss's ability. It was unclear, but what he witnessed next only seemed to excite him. Realizing that Abyss had summoned a creature, his brow raised. "A fellow Sage?" He thought, as he watched the creature turn into a weapon and place itself into her hands. "what... nooo Abyss..." He thought, slightly disappointed. He hadn't witnessed a sage transformation, and whatever she had just summoned became a weapon. Immediately after, Field of Elysian struck her once again. While he had expected her to draw a weapon, and planned on it, he had never expected this. This thing was her weapon now, and she was under the effects of his bloodline technique.

"Just disperse it already." He thought, as his brows furled. It was time to get serious. He had imagined this moment, many times in-fact, but never once did it involve blood prisons, creatures turning into weapons, or this much ninjutsu. He had hoped Abyss was a slugger, that could take him to the brink the old fashioned way. The clashing of steel was something that helped sooth his mind, mend his soul, and made him feel alive. He could feel it coming though, but he was curious. In this moment, was Taijutsu the answer? Did she expect him to just hack and slash? Kazan knew he couldn't be that predictable. If he didn't step it up, surely someone he considers his equal, no his better, would take advantage.

Yuna, your last traumaturge ended last round due to the note temp cp ends on the round. So I did smart action as you had it in your actions, however due to an action on 7.5seconds you were unable to use

As Kazan stood there, in the giant bubble like prison of blood, wondered exactly what was about the happen. Switching his stances, almost instinctively to prepare for what came next, he fired off a Genjutsu technique as quickly as he possible could. Immediately after, his Chakra poured into his oni weapon replenishing the poisons upon it's blade. By now, Abyss had to know of his poison mastery. He knew the effects of it would be kicking in soon, however he didn't expect her to drop her technique as the bloody water came falling down. With a brow raised, he smirked.

Was it the poison? Or did he just get lucky. Letting out a sigh of relief, he let go of his oni weapon, only to clap his hands together before slamming one palm to the ground. A puff of white smoke filled the air, as Skully made his apperance. In the briefest of moments, their eyes met in acknowledgement as Natural Energy began to pour into Kazan's body. Skully was the one who taught him how to properly do this, so it was only fitting that he'd be the first amongst his comrades to bare witness. Dark circles formed around Kazan's eyes, as two symmetrical lines formed from each eye down towards his jawline. At the same time, his Chakra began to visibly pour out of him taking on am ominous purple and red hue.

Although he had summoned the goat, Kazan had channeled the powers of the snakes. His venomous chakra, now infused into every strike, would prove more than useful. Right now thought, he still had to set the stage. A field of flowers, a wandering goat, a venomous snake, and an small team of clones. This fight was now a mixture of the most basic of tactics, and most brutal forms of poison. As the field struck her, Kazan's eyes shifted towards Skully. The two hadn't spoken a single word, and no explanation was given what so ever, but Skully understood immediately.

Witnessing Abyss summon a clone of her own, he immediately saw through it. Choosing to go on the offensive, Kazan used a technique known as kill driver and lashed out at Abyss. While this attack was weaker in comparison to his other techniques, it was simply to insure delivery of his venom. Somehow, given Abysses speed and technique, he made contact. Still, something didn't seem right as he watched Skully attempted to Attack her as well. Taken back at seeing Skully miss her entirely, before his terrain technique smacked her once again. "Each time it hits her, she gets re-infected with my Genjutsu and poison and yet she does nothing to counter." He thought to himself.

Stunned at this revelation, his mind began to jump from one thought to another before witnessing Abyss jumped into the air. Confused at what was going on, he simply watched her for a few seconds while Skully attacked her clones. Witnessing her performing another high level water technique, he realized then that she had no clue as to how to distinguish him from amongst his clones. "Is... she... serious..." He thought, as he gritted his teeth. "Is she mocking me now, or what?" He asked himself, as he watched her come get within range. Closing the gap, the moment she touched down Kazan began to unload a fury of blows. First, his right fist would glow bright red as he delivered a devastating blow known as the Falcon Punch technique, which was quickly followed by a quick left hook. The second hit, another punching technique known as fist of virtue. As those two made direct contact, he continued with another straight right and uppercut combo, utilizing a wrathful fist of sin technique. The first of the two punches connected, while the uppercut missed entirely.

It was then, during this combo that his chakra seemed to ping, as his eyes focused heavily on Abyss once again. His innate ability had kicked in, triggering his body to instinctively fire off a Genjutsu technique successfully affecting Abyss. Stepping back, to create some distance between them, he watched her perform a basic medical technique upon herself. "I assure you, my venom will fade quickly." He yelled out, as Skully attempted to attack her again. Glancing towards his clones, he watched them go in for the attack on her and her clone, of course after the terrain attacked her once again.

Standing tall, Kazan watched Abyss cast another powerful water based technique upon Skully, before he began to relax himself. "If you would like to continue, we may. Though I do think I have a good understanding us these techniques now." He stated, giving Abyss the option to call it for the day. Kazan would cast no form of judgement, as everyone was allowed to have an off day every once in a while. Though, in the back of his mind he did wonder what was actually going on here.
