Origin Chapter 3 - The darkest hour (sixth sense application)
"Hallo 46..."
Said a voice in the dark space around the young teen sitting on his knees engulfed in nothing but shade. That was the way it was the past few weeks, nothing but darkness and pain.
"today is going to be the final phase in this exercise Subject 46, we have been most pleased with your results lately and we would like you to demonstrate to the Grand-Curator what you have achieved so far"
They were pleased indeed, everyday they put Nao in this room only to be beaten senseless by trained professionals who already knew how to fight in complete darkness, and doing so while making no sound . The scientists did not want to train Nao's reflexes or speed, nor did they want to train his Taijutsu or Ninjutsu skills, all they wanted was for him to mentally anticipate the coming blow, and to see the battlefield with his mind.
"you may begin..."
Said the voice, and directly after a screech of large metal doors filled the room and then silence. Nao just sat there unshaken by their attempt to throw off his focus, not this time... this time he knew exactly what was going on in the room, how much they were, where they were, and where were they going. Now he followed them with his eyes shut.
'three steps away... ten seconds and closing... 40 degrees to my right...'
One of the well trained men was after him, he probably thought Nao was going to be an easy target....It was his last mistake.
'...knife in left hand... aiming for the throat... counter move in..3..2..1'
In a flash, Nao arched backwards the knife hitting nothing but the air above his face, the boy reached out with his hand and grabbed the attackers wrist, a twist followed by a snap. The knife was now in the boys hand, the man yelled out in pain. Nao took the blade and plunged it into the man's throat, there was no more screaming after that, only a subtle thud as the body hit the floor.
'...next up...'
There were only two more, that was not the case for too long. Soon enough Nao was standing alone in the room, drenched in blood.
"exercise complete, thank you Subject 46"

Origin Chapter 4 - young and eager to learn (Illusionist application)
During the first year in the underground facility, life seemed quite right. Three meals a day, a warm bed, hot showers, toys and pass times.
Yes young Nao needed to go to classes to learn about some Ninja stuff he wasn't very interested at first. His father came to visit all the time too.
The young boy smiled allot back then. One day Nao picked up a book that caught his eye; "the key to the minds lock". This book astounded Nao from the very first page, he took it everywhere with him, and when his teachers noticed the material he learned in class focused more and more on Genjutsu and it's applications. They never knew what it would make him in the later years to come, they never knew what monster they would create.

Origin Chapter 5 - screams in the night (Willpower application)
'nononono pleas don't... pleas don't, not again don't make me go there again'
The words echoed in the stretching hallway around him, the walls were shifting...slowly eroding around him. The teenage boy knew that this place was not real, he knew that it was all a part of this sick test they made him go through. Ever since his father stopped coming to visit, they no longer gave him three meals a day, they moved him to a cold cell, and the only showers he received were ether ice cold or boiling hot. They stopped calling him Nao and gave him a new name, Subject 46...
But all of it was nothing in compare to the Genjutsu tests they did on him, Since at some point they decided that him knowing how to cast the illusions was not enough...no. The boy needed to feel the way others feel while under the spell.
And now the twisting and turning hallway came to a terrifyingly familiar door.
'gods...pleas no... I don't want to see it again... pleas...'
The boy whimpered, tears running down his cheeks, his body moving on its own, the doors slowly opened to reveal the sight that made the young boys eyes widen in terror. Black skies above with blood red clouds scattered upon it, slowly drip by drip small drops of blood rained down on his face. And on a small hill made of corpses was a flesh statue, built out of his mother's, father's and little brother's mutilated features.
NOOOOO!!!!....NOOOO!!!!..... DON'T SHOW THIS TO ME!!!!, IT'S NOT REAL!!!!... YOUR LYING!!!!....NAAAAAAA!!!!
The teen yelled out, unable to look away, unable to close his eyes. The sight burning into his mind, slowly driving him mad. Fear was an understatement in this place, this is where hope comes to die.
"p...pleas....pleas make it stop...*sob*...pleas make it go away...*sob*..."
The tears now mixing with the blood on his red face. Then he felt something bubbling inside, something was coming up from within him.
"ENOOOOOUGH!!!!, GYAAAAAAA!!!!"
He screamed and the whole world around him shook and trembled, as if a monster had just awaken from a deep sleep. And then the whole place dissipated, for a single second he saw the operating room, and then he fell into nothing.

Origin Chapter 6 - The midnight escape (Stalker)
It has been a few years in captivity already and Nao felt like he couldn't bare waiting anymore, he wanted to see the sun again and feel the warmth on his skin. And so one night after the lights went out he used a key he swiped from one of the guards to open his cell door, but that was the easy part. Nao did not know the way out not even the general direction of it, and yet he had to try. The young teen silently moved through the quiet facility, it was then when he realized that there warrant much people in the facility at night, and the few he did encounter were easy enough to evade. It took him all night but finally he reached a back door exit out undetected at all, it was dawn when he stepped out side. Nao was in awe, so much that he didn't notice the two guards at his sides until they grabbed him and started dragging him back into the cold florescent lit facility. Nao was in shock when they grabbed him, all he did was stretch his arm out towards the sun outside, as if he could just reach it if he tried hard enough. The door closed shut.
Origin Chapter 7 - setting them ablaze (Elemental Illusion)
The people in the facility never thought that it was enough, they never stopped pushing the envelope and breaking rule after rule to get there was just another day at the office. Nao was no exception in their eyes and every time he managed to pass a test they had placed before him, they already had another one waiting after that one. The passed few weeks were trying to involve the fire element Nao had a talent for and his ever evolving Genjutsu skill. Test subjects were replaced over and over, until finally one of them screamed what the scientists wanted to hear..."I am burning". Nao had managed to make him feel the sensation of the burning flame on his skin without lighting as much as a spark.
Origin Chapter 8 - Apocalypse mastered(Summoner)
As always the young boy excelled in every task his captures set upon him, and as always they kept pushing forward and kept wanting higher results.
So they gave the young adult a new task, a harder task. After he became an operative for them, they kept testing him out in the field, during his missions, and when he was at the facility they tested him. This time as pleased as they were from project Apocalypse's success, they wished subject 46 to be able to summon more beings to his control, to make him a 'one man army' so they said. And so every time he went out to do field work he was accompanied by a senior ANBU operative to monitor his advances in power, most of the men never returned 'an accident' Subject 46 always said. In the end they received what they wanted, 46's ability to summon clones, corpses and other unnatural beings has enhanced immensely...but to what end?.

Origin Chapter 9 - His own way (Enchanter - Genjutsu Chakra Style)
After so long learning about Genjutsu, Nao no longer needed guidance to advance and become better. It was already a year since he became an ANBU secret operative, a shadow killer. The man started going through files on other Genjutsu users, what they do, what are their abilities and innate perks...'know thy enemy, know thy self' never took a better example. When he was in the field he observed and defeated them, in the facility he studied them. Eventually he came across an interesting ability another Genjutsu Master had developed, a fighting style. As odd as it sounded to the ANBU it appeared that there was a stance and movement style that can enhance Genjutsu abilitys to a new level. And when he tested it out it was more then he ever imagined, he uses it all the time today, and never forgets the value of a fighting style when faced by a foe.
Origin Chapter 10- breakout (Shattered Reality)
They some how knew it was coming, they always knew it was possible, and they have made all the preparations to contain the event. But when it happened they were overwhelmed. After so many years in captivity so many years they made Nao's mind their little playground. He was not a boy anymore. No one could outrun him, no one could flee his wrath. Thanks to them his Genjutsu was more powerful then ever, almost perfect.
Nao was walking in the facility, making people kill each other, kill themselves, some just died of sheer terror. This time their mind was his playground, and he was breaking them one after the other. Nao even learned how to abruptly stop his own Genjutsus and throw his prey into shock and die.
It was soon over, a deafening silence fell on the facility... a calm before the storm.
