Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

History: [Part 1 of 5]

Banshi was the second child born to a simple family of farmers within Konohagakure, under a full moon and during the middle of a storm. Although her family was wealthy for this day and age, both her and her brother were raised to be humble. Her brother would work a farm with their uncles, while she stayed in the house performing daily chores for the men within her family, just for some money here and there. From the age of five until she was seven, her daily work consisted of cleaning, cooking, and doing laundry. One day out on her family’s farm, while out looking for ripe fruit for breakfast, she witnessed something that changed her entirely. One of her uncles, who left the house hunting for meat to feed the family throughout the upcoming winter, was being attacked by a pack of wild wolves. She yelled and screamed as she watched them tear into his flesh, ripping him to shreds.

Unfortunately this was the only thing she could do, she was nearly immobilized with fear and her body wouldn’t do what she wanted because of it. Watching as he glanced to her, reached out, and yelled for help, her body finally reacted as she throw down her basket and ran back towards the house. Screaming on her way, she noticed something odd happening to her; a rush of adrenaline was passing through her body as she picked up speed and within moments, she yelled out to her house. “Somebody help Jakku, he’s dying!” She yelled and pointed as a cousin came rushing out of the house, running towards where she was pointing. On the way he grabbed a pitch fork, and upon arriving to his father, he began to attack the wolves with it; eventually running them off.

Moments later she learned that her uncle was died moments after her cousin arrived, and that if he had had helped moments later then maybe he could have survived. Distraught over this news, she stuck to herself the next few days within her room. Silently crying to herself, while unintentionally replaying visions of his death to herself; she blamed herself. She stood there and watched, not doing anything, because she was afraid. Feeling down for weeks, she soon left her room and went back to her daily chores, until her mother decided to drag her along to the Lraf village. With the lack of meat roaming on their land, and the threats of wolves attacking when they entered the woods, they were resorting towards selling their extra crops.

Peaches, apples, oranges, pears, water melon, cantaloupes, figs, and several different types of berries; if you could think of the fruit, chances were they sold them, except banana’s. Alongside that they also sold potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, carrots, cabbage, and some baked goods like pies. They were now farmers and merchants, selling anything they could; throughout the winter, they began to sell makeshift items from the antlers and fur of deer they managed to hunt. One her eighth birthday, a young Shinobi by the name of “Sairasu” visited their small vending stall. As he looked at Banshi, she smiled and placed his hand on her head. “If there was ever a child blessed with an enormous amount of chakra, then you are it.” He told her, and her mother, which prompted a wild thought in both their minds.

From that sentenced, he purchased some fruit and left them be. Weeks later, after constant badgering and thought, her mother finally decided to enroll her within the village’s academy. Her focus now in life was her studies; she knew that if became strong, then nothing could stand in her way. Learning how to forge weapons, manipulate chakra, and perform Ninjutsu was her greatest accomplishments. Though this wasn’t all she learned; Genjutsu and Taijutsu were just as important to her studies as the others. Graduating by the time she was ten years of age, as an average strength Genin, her life changed drastically. She no longer had any time to work with her mother, on the farm, or relax. She was immediately assigned to a team, and from that moment on ninety percent of her time was spent out on missions, while the other ten percent was spent eating, sleeping, bathing.

Payment for these missions was great, though she never over enjoyed herself with it; it went back to her family, to help them. Eventually her fear of wolves passed, and the memories of her uncle being attacked faded into the depths of her memory. She had moved on from those thoughts, and now she aimed towards the future. Her goals were simple; she wanted to become stronger than anyone else, and nothing was going to stand in her way. Grabbing “trophies” from her missions, she started building a collection. Her favorite among them happened to be the hide of a “werewolf” like creature that stood on two legs, had long boney arms with gigantic claws, and had large over grown fangs. Over the course of three years, she would continue to collect "trophies" from nearly everything she killed; everything from animal hides, teeth, and claws to swords, pieces of armor, and even the skull of a tyrant her and her team took down.

Her strength continued to grow and before long, she entered a basic chuunin exam; testing her Genjutsu, Taijutsu, and Ninjutsu skills, alongside her teamwork capabilities, and her fighting skills. After five phases of tests, she was award with a Chuunin vest, and promoted to the next level in her shinobi career. Upon reaching this stage, she was now able to go on higher level missions. Her first mission as a Chuunin was something she couldn’t ever really imagine; in fact it was something that seemed out of a classic story. Her mission was to find a bandit kings mistress, in order to learn about what was being planned against the lighting country. Infiltrating the camp, dressed as a classy prostitute and accompanying a bandit, she easily gained entrance. Once there, she noticed a celebration of who knows what, and waited till everyone got pissed drunk.

Searching throughout the base camp for a woman among these bandits, she soon found one, silently killed her off in the distance, and took her clothing. Disposing of her body behind some barrels, she went walking throughout the camp as one of them. Speaking to random people, learning everything she could, she waited until things got out of hand. Watching a large group of the men get drunk and fight, she soon noticed guards rushing from a large gate to stop them from killing each other. Taking this opportunity, she went running into the other side of the came which was originally blocked off by a large gate. Sneaking around under the night sky, she soon made her way towards the king’s camp grounds; on the edge of the mountain. Sticking to the trees, she watched as they partied, drank, and fought for entertainment. Eventually many of them passed out, including the one who appeared to be the king; though she wasn’t sure. Playing it safe, she approached the tent from behind and quickly looked around.

Finding the woman, she grabbed her from behind, covered her mouth, and began to drag her behind the large tent. Originally frightening the woman, she began to fight back using Taijutsu, though the situation quickly calmed down and Banshi flashed her “Leaf Shinobi” insignia. The woman knew what this was about, and instantly began to Banshi about the bandit’s plans for the lighting country. “Blade found information leading to this country about a powerful weapon in the form of a mask. He believes it’s located in the northern region and he plans to kill anyone, or thing, he encounters along the way. He claims that if he locates it and wears it, he’ll gain power equal to that of a gigantic mythological serpent, with four wings, claws, and fangs.”

Said the bandit mistress. Glancing at a shadowy figure behind the woman, within the tent, she watched as a blade pierced the side and went slamming down towards the mistress. Pushing her out of the way, she instinctively pulled her sword and attacked the figure; thrusting the sword into the persons stomach. As he fell backwards, she entered the tent and noticed it was the Band king himself. He instantly ripped the sword out of himself, got up, and began attacking Banshi with all his might. Destroying his tent, waking his bandits who were just yards away, and yelling threats and curse words at both Banshi and the mistress.

“Bitch! You’re dead!” He yelled towards the mistress, as he ignored Banshi’s assault and attacked her, killing her in one swift blow. Taking advantage while his back was turned, Banshi made clones and went into hiding, while he focused on her clones. When he least expected it, she leaped out of nowhere and drove her sword through his back, heart, and out of his chest. Twisting it, she suddenly ripped her sword sideways as she yanked it out, right before kicking him into the ground. A pool of blood would quickly surround the bandit king, as all his former bandit servants stood in awe. They were confused as to what just happened; they just watched a man they served for years, out of fear, promises, or hopes, get killed by a young girl before their eyes. Realizing they were all watching her, her eyes widened as she slowly backed up. One of the bandits threw his hand, which still held his sword, into the air. “Blade's dead! A little girl killed the Bandit King!” He called out, and then suddenly all the others cheered as well. Confused as to why they were cheering instead of attacking her, she grabbed the eye patch off 'Blades' head, turned and went running towards the side of the cliff.

Glancing back before she charged her feet with chakra, leaped off the edge, and began climbing down the mountain side, she realized everyone began fighting amongst themselves. Little did she know, they were now fighting to claim his throne as the new “Bandit king”, since she wasn’t sticking around to cause them any more trouble. It took her a few days, but eventually she circled the mountain, made her way back towards the Leaf village, and reported her findings; and also mentioned how, in the process, she killed the bandit king. Offering his eye patch as proof, she was rewarded for her first solo mission, as a Chuunin, and given a few days off. Taking the eye patch, she cleaned it up when she got home and placed it on a shelve with the rest of her “trophies”.

[Part 2 of 5]

From that moment on, her life would no longer be the same; being invited to join the Anbu branch within the Leaf village, she accepted and began her training immediately. Unlike most people, she adapted pretty quickly to her new way of life. Throughout the day, she’d train in the shadows and continue to expand her knowledge over Anbu techniques, strategies, and tactics. At night, she’d rest at home back on the farm, and make up stories to tell her family about her days work as a Shinobi. Of course she hated lying to them, but she understood that things she was involved in these days had to be kept secret. Unsure if they’d understand, she eventually saved up enough money to rent an apartment in town so that she could distance herself from them just a little bit more.

Finally, after two years’ worth of training to become an Anbu, she now had the proper opportunity to distinguish herself from the other trainees. Accepting an exam with four others, she raced against time, pitted herself against her collogues, and eventually stood tall as the lone victor of the group. After having physically and mentally pushed herself passed the others, defeating them all in combat, and proving she had mastered the proper techniques she needed to, she was now a full-fledged Anbu at the age of eleven.

As one would say, she was in fact a super baby; or at least, her skills and strength were well more honed than the average person of her age. Although she thought life as an Anbu would be awesome, she was unfortunately wrong. Spending the next year going on constant missions, she soon found herself faced with a ridiculous task. Under the rule of a man named “Jakku”, her and two other Anbu, were being sent out on a mission that could possible take more than half a decade to accomplish. Of course she felt comfortable being paired on a team with other capable Anbu, but she hated the idea of being away from her home for so long. Sucking it up, she packed essentials, and donned her newly designed Anbu mask; it had the appearance of a lioness. Leaving Konoha behind for now, she stepped out into the world with her Team and quickly made their way towards the sea. After several months of traveling through other countries, they eventually found their way towards the sea and hired a ship, and captain, to travel to distant lands.
