Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Ability training

Shinobi 101- Taijutsu- Piercing

Sunuke was just watching his arm as he moved with his weapon, slashing around his body with quick and dexterous finesse. Though he didn’t quite feel he was living up to the full potential of being a swordsman. Instead he was just focusing on just one kind of taijutsu. He definitely needed to work out some more than just swinging a sword around him.

He carefully looked at his weapon a little more, and noticed that it was just as sharp at the end of the blade as it was along the edge of it. How did he not thing of stabbing with the weapon? This would lead him to a whole new area of training that he could now work on. Becoming a master of both slashing and stabbing techniques.

Main Branch- Journeyman

It was just like any other day for the Nanjirou, who had now become the head of his household since his parents disappeared one crazy night without anyone in his house knowing. He didn’t want to tell his siblings, but he would be looking to bring the family back into the limelight as a great house, not just some small and pathetic clan. This meant he would be traveling around and learning more about other Nanjirou and becoming a great ninja.

This led to make Sunuke promise himself and, in some sort of odd way, Musashi that he would be a great Nanjirou and an asset to the village.

Weapon Mastery- Slashing
The blade was covered in sweat that had been dripping from Sunuke’s brow. It had been going through a tough training session for the day due to its master’s desire to improve more recently.

He was already a Jounin, but that wasn’t good enough. He needed to be better at taijutsu if he was going to get anywhere with getting on the path of finding everything that he had lost. And in some way Musashi was trying to push him on a quest for power. It felt uneasy, but at the same time was right to do it.

Moving his sword around more, he attacked the training dummies in his dojo. He used a Higuma jutsu, following it up with another and one more before a final slash. He could definitely tell he was improving with his moves, and that his slashing attacks were probably some of the best this village had seen in a generation.

Bulls' Strength
”Come on Sunuke, this is a tiny rock, how are you going to be able to move the mountains to find your parents?” Musashi questioned him as Sunuke was trying to lift a boulder up above him.

”It’s not that simple you know, or maybe you don’t since you’ve been dead for hundreds of years,” Sunuke replied, grunting a sound as he kept trying to lift the boulder above him. Using his legs a bit more would push the boulder up a bit more. But with constant training he knew that he would be able to soon move houses by himself, or even bigger and heavier objects.

Five minutes of constant struggling and pushing with all his might, Sunuke soon found himself lifting it above him. Albeit this was for a couple of seconds before having to move out the way and drop it near him.

”See? There you go! Now just to do it five more times and you can take a break!”

Jutsu Expansion
The thing about knowing all about taijutsu, is the beauty that you can improve on it and making it so much better. This is how Sunuke would learn that he could improve on the weaker moves that he learned when he was younger.

The lesser jutsu, which took a lot less energy and power, could be improved with training and a little extra power into the move. Just throw yourself more into it when you’re lunging, or adding a little more arm movement when you slash.

Days of training and Sunuke would find that his moves were starting to become on par with each other. Though sometimes a little less energy would be useful, but overall this meant each attack was now a choice in battle rather than discarded.

Justsu Mastery
At the same time as learning to expand his move set to become on the same strength as each other, he was learning become more conservative with his chakra use. Each move was becoming more easy to use and his ability to use the same move again created less cost for him overall.

As he trained more, he could feel that everything was becoming so much easier. The difficulty of creating enough chakra for the moves was becoming less of an issue now. Instead, he was free to do any move without really losing any chakra at all. This was really helping him think more about how to be more offensive without the need to risking running out of chakra.

Defensive Technique
With all this training, Sunuke had forgotten about being defensive. Being able to avoid attacks is good and all, and being able to hit was even better, but what if you were hit? Taking a beating wasn’t a good idea, and he was sure that there were many people were practising on being precise with prime moves and professional attacks that pruned arms off their enemies. And he certainly didn’t want to only have one arm.

He started practising with projectile traps attacking him. Pulling them with string and then trying to deflect as much as possible. It wasn’t much, but it was doing great work for his confidence. He could certainly feel that he could block a lot more, even if the attack was huge.

Clarity
But what about his defence on genjutsu? Defending against mind attacks was not as simple as knowing what was right and what wasn’t. It would be time to ponder on what life really was about.

Sunuke sat by a pond, crossing his legs over each other and then closing his eyes. He would listen to the trees, and the sounds around him. Even a human could not replicate the sound perfectly. Though he still had to think about clearing his mind of everything that could go wrong. His focus was on the enemy, not of his surroundings.

Minutes became hours, and hours became half the day gone by, and Sunuke felt he was able to distinguish his senses and his chakra playing tricks on him a bit more.

Fearless
Now that he felt he could take on both physical and mental attacks, Sunuke had decided to climb the highest height in the village. The tallest tower than he could find, and do it without the use of his feet.

It would get to midnight, and he would prepare himself at the bottom of the tower that stretched high into the heavens. This meant it would probably take a while to climb with just his hands.

Putting his hands on and lifting his legs, he would use his chakra to slowly scale the building, putting his hands one at a time. Though this would be probably dangerous to someone with less chakra, it didn’t cause him much worry.

As he got higher, it became a little more stressful, since he wasn’t sure how long the fall would be to his eventual death. But he would press on anyway.

He would finally reach the top, sitting on his hands so they would continue to hold him up and watch the sun rise as he wondered… how would he get back down?!

Initiative
Being able to use taijutsu as his main form meant he didn’t have to use as much time as ninjuts users who used handseals. This meant that the Nanjirou had a lot more time to make his actions and change them on the fly. He was always prepared, and always able to make adjustments based on what he saw happening.

From his recent trainings however, he could that his initial actions were starting to become quicker. Moving into a stance was faster and more free, drawing his sword was a lot quicker and he could even find himself starting to make his first strike happen before his opponent even started to do their actions.

In time he knew that this would pay off for him, but until then it was just more practice for him, and this would make him perfect.

The good thing about seeing spirits is the fact you can try and target them when fighting. They’re usually pretty fast to move, besides Musashi who was better at sword fighting than dodging.

”Come on Sunuke if you can’t even hit me precisely then how are you going to be able to hit an opponent traveling at high speeds if you can’t even hit me right.” The comments were definitely not needed as the Nanjirou would keep trying to slash at the ghost, who would step back and move his ghostly sword to block it. Though Sunuke’s own sword would just phase through it, it didn’t mean that he had actually hit the ghost.

He would try and focus on his target a bit more. Recently fights had become one on one anyways so why not? Not worrying about his surroundings so much so he can hit his opponent with more precision was probably the best idea this time.

He prepared himself, looked for where it would be harder to Musashi to block in time and struck, taking out his left leg. From this he knew that from now on it would be best to focus on the target more than he had previously done.

Learning Called Shot

From learning to focus on Musashi he realised that by focusing on different parts of the body he could actually do more long term damage. Just slashing the torso didn’t really do a lot besides attack the vitals. But the vitals were protected by most armour. No, he had to go for the hands and feet, the neck and the face.

He first started by practising on a training dummy. He would strike the sides of it, such as the arms and the side of the legs. He then would try and hit the neck and face with the pointed end. Strangely he didn’t realise that this was probably a good way to deal with enemy combatants. Why hadn’t he thought of this sooner?

I have 143 cap shop points as of this week, so I'd like to spend 100 of them on my class to gain 2 class points. These will be going to be +1 in accuracy.
