Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Shoto | Taroto | Takumito | Muto
----

Amidst the bustling of Maple Town, a rouge group causing mayhem to the inhabitants. Streaking through the streets, the group shows mercy to none - pressing into even the elderly and toppling them over. "Straight to the bank!" Shoto shouts to the guise figures, azure optics glancing around inspecting the surroundings for any potential difficulties, "All chakra signatures in the vicinity are quite frail, should be easy pickings." Takumito howls in delight, his Byukugan coming in handy for scouting. The blonde hair shinobi leaps upwards to weave a set of hand seals, inhaling deeply, "Koton: Goukakyuu no Jutsu!" a stream of flames crash into the side of their targeted building, plumes of smoke rise upwards and cause immediate panic within the towns square.

The final member of the group jolts through the debris, ignoring the sound of alarms to grasp at the loot, slinging the individual bags of yen to her companions, "Idiot, now they are going to know we are here!" she sighs, "That's Taroto for ya! Always flashy when we are trying to be sneaky!" the quad burst out into laughter as they turn about to make a hasty retreat with their loot. In all the confusion they avoid the security shinobi, leaping onto the building tops to make their escape as the Maple District shinobi attempt to calm down all the commotion and confusion from the debris.

----------------------------------------

A few days later the vault can be found taped off, fliers of rewarding any who dared to attempt a retrieval were spread throughout Maple Town. This was by no means an easy feat and would require a considerable amount of time to locate the bandits and retrieve the stolen goods. Many would not bother to risk their own lives, leaving the duties to ANBU or Jounin alike. A squad of shinobi crowd around the head of the bank, bickering about who would dare to take on the challenge while assessing the overall stolen amount, "Roughly one million yen." the head speaks, clearly exhausted, his appearance giving away the recent stress he undergoes.

Welcome to your mission! You are to retrieve the stolen yen, but for now merely role-play arriving to the scene of the crime to get your debriefing, if you so choose to do so.

This mission will consist of 'attempting' to perform actions against bandits that may or may not be successful; please keep that in mind as you role-play.

C-Rank Missions are average difficulty, meaning there will be a chance of failure. Good luck! Let's have some fun.

Re: Suppressing Bandits (TMM)

Hiyasu Shiori ducked under the tape, flier in hand. He had a look around at the scene, taking in as much as he could before someone questioned him. The gaping hole in the building was a charred mess, and debris was strewn over the floor. The vault was otherwise spartan, only a few bags of yen lying around despondently. The only other thing of note so far was the crowd of shinobi, clustered around the bank manager. He shambled up to them, slipping into the jostling mess. It seemed the bank manager had put out quite a wide call.

"Roughly one million yen."

Shiori’s eyes widened at that. One million Yen was nothing to be sniffed at. He could use that money to move into a nicer place, maybe get some nicer ingredients for Suo’s. Not a colossal amount, but enough to live well for a good while. The thieves must have been laughing at their good fortune.

But he didn’t envy those thieves. Because now the shinobi of Konoha were after them, and Shiori would make sure he got the lion’s share of the credit for finding them. He had decided it would not be a question of if. It was when. The best would allow nothing less. He folded the flier, tucking it into one of his many pockets, and fingered the ring on his finger, looking again at the vault. Was there anything that gave away an avenue of escape?

He wished he had his friends here, but they were both busy, and had elected to work a bit of overtime at the restaurant. Shiori had decided he had been spending too much time there recently, and not enough time ‘ninja-ing’. His skills in the kitchen had improved, he secretly reckoned there were now none to equal him in Suo’s, but his Ninja skills had been lacking. He hadn’t been picking up Genin tasks as he should. And you couldn’t be the best ninja if you weren’t actually a ninja.

So here he was, in amongst a group of ninja acting like vultures over a corpse at the prospect of a job. Such tasks were needed to advance in the ninja world, and any crime would bring ninja on the up-and-coming running to get their name out there. Shiori supposed he was there for the same reason.

“Have you noticed anything of use when examining the vault? Noticed any odd people around the bank recently?” Shiori piped up. He had heard such questions asked on some police shows he had seen on the television. They sounded right.

A voice calls out, inquiring of any peculiarities the faceless owner may have taken notice of, "Outside of a moderately high level flame based technique, none." he admits, scratching at the rear of his cranium. Pushing past those who picker, the owner of the petite bank halts a few feet from Shiori, "Come, I'll allow you to look over the footage our outside surveillance captured." he murmurs in a hushed tone, beckoning for the Genin to follow. Abruptly the middle aged male clears a pathway through the crowd towards a door in the distance, located on the left side of the building. Rummaging about his pockets, the aging shinobi withdraws a key to unlock the door.

"My apologies, my manners." a momentary pause, "I am Sakamoto Yuhei, you are?" he extends a hand outwards if Shiori were willing to grasp a hold of Yuhei's. Never the least, he gestures towards the ajar door, a petite monitor and a single chair occupy what appears nothing more than a renovated broom closet. "Have a seat, you are the only one inquiring anything useful thus far." he admits, with a faint nervous laugh, deep crows feet showcase themselves from the glare of the monitor. The room dark, yet with a simple press on the screen a black and white reel begin to play before the eyes of the shinobi.

"As you can tell, there are four. I am unsure of who they may possibly be. It is clear, however, that we will need to cautions due to their numbers." Yuhei begins, gesturing towards the monitor, "For the time being I wish to locate their whereabouts. Do you think you could manage to do so?" he inquires, withdrawing a piece of cloth to hand towards the male, "I found this in the vault, I am sure it belongs to one of those trouble makers."
