Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kaito grinned at the dismissal; as interesting as it would probably be to watch Roku and Sora throw down, he'd likely have only seen a stance or two as they fought anyway. This idea seemed much better “You got it Roku! Good luck with your challenge Sora, I'll see you guys later!”
'I wonder how Roku will find me? Eh, he's the master he'll figure something out.. Maybe the challenge is to throw blows loud enough he can hear them? That sounds pretty interesting..' Fully focused on the thought of more training, Kaito barely remembered to throw a quick bow to the pair of fighters as he left; he was pretty sure disciples are meant to do things like that. He set off as best he could manage, still slightly hunched over with the remaining effects of the scarred man's punch to his gut.

Re: Taijutsu: The Only Way to Jutsu! (Open)

Roku smirked a bit behind his guard as Sora questioned his sincerity.

"No holding back."

This was not a jest, this was not to be cute, this was not some showboating moment for Roku. He did not underestimate the person before him, just let he didn't underestimate the considerably weaker Kaito. This was serious, an exchange of blows was a serious matter for Roku. His style and his life revolved around taking a beating and giving a beating, so for him this was nothing more than a welcoming handshake.

And after confirming his intentions, the monstrous man-child before him would come darting forward. His speed was quicker than Roku had originally guessed.

Surprising.

And as Sora rushed forward, the wall next to him would get lacerated. It seemed that the unique build and style of this individual gave him a cutting power. That was not incredibly surprising in the shinobi world, but it did mean that this first blow was going to hurt like something awful. The arm of Sora started to swing forward, the trajectory was aligned with his gut. The muscles within Roku's upper body would begin to flex and tighten awaiting the blow to make contact, and when that moment finally happened there was only one thought that crossed the elder shinobi's mind;

Damn...

The force of the punch was one thing, the piercing power that seemed to shoot forth from his fist on contact was another. Roku would find his body contorting to the blow it just absorbed and would initially send his body raising up off the ground and then stumbling a few steps into the wall. Then a familiar taste would fill his mouth as he found blood start to leak out from his sealed tight lips. Once he could not hold back the pooling, he would start to cough letting the red liquid splatter to the floor.

"It has been awhile..."

His left arm would lower down, gripping his side as he would let out a little chuckle.

"You have potential. Destructive force is pretty gnarly. Being able to provide a piercing effect to your punch is just down right devastating. I, unfortunately, am not the right fit for that sort of punch."

His body would straighten up as his eyes remained lowered.

"You see, I have this stubborn ability where I just seem to take and take damage. My body, for whatever reason, seems to ignore the accumulating punishment and compensates with this pounding pressure; this pressure to return the damage I just received. It is like this unnatural yearning, a yearning to hurt those who pop up in front of me."

His eyes, now bloodshot, would finally rise. The ringing of pain that surged through his body would grow numb as his muscles began to contract.

"Kaito's lesson was teaching his body a new experience, and while you are different than him in almost every conceivable way, I think you first lesson needs to be that very same thing."

Around him there would be a growing aura, a suffocating feeling as his muscles continued to grow more defined.

"I want you to take a punch, but it will be drastically different than what Kaito's was. I held back, I don't think you'd want that same sympathy, would you?"

While his demeanor and appearance was serious, his voice did not waiver to a point of anger. This was not something that was about to break out into a brawl and there was no hostility for the attack he just absorbed. His voice was calm, steady, which was drastically different from the bloodlust that his body seemed to naturally exude when turning serious.

"So, Sora, are you up for this first lesson?"

The chakra could be felt welling up within the body of Roku. Something big was coming, if Sora was prepared for it.

Re: Taijutsu: The Only Way to Jutsu! (Open/Class)

Sora had expected the teacher to move or do anything but what he actually did, he just stood there received the punch. as Sora finished the movement he had blown the teacher a few steps sideways to the wall, not surprisingly, since this the power of sora's mass would have done that, it was surprising that since he did nothing obviously to negate the attack, that he had not landed at the other side of the wall.
it was obvious though that the teachers body had sustained damage, as blood splattered the floor.
For a second there Sora was in doubt if he had done the right thing, if he were to carry this man to the infirmary, a place he actually did not know where was, would be kind of a problem.
his doubts were sent to shame as the teacher let out a chuckle.
Sora unwillingly grinned his predatory grin, as his respect for the teacher raised.

"You have potential. Destructive force is pretty gnarly. Being able to provide a piercing effect to your punch is just down right devastating. I, unfortunately, am not the right fit for that sort of punch."

He behaved just like sora, altho sora had another reason for his behavior, since he from his earliest memories always had been on the receiving end of the stick, even while winning, it always came with a price.
If you won a fight, you got punished, if you lost a fight you got punished more severely. all this made some fight to their actual death as the punishment alone could be worse than the broken bones from winning a fight.
The yamaryuu had a reason for this. it was to draw out the latent powers their bloodline possessed. powers like the piercing power of his unarmed fists. but another was to develop the defence capable of receiving such fists.

As the teacher spoke, Sora's neck hairs and natural instinct would slowly begin to tingle, this was a person just like himself. one, who if he lost his cool, would end up destroying entire towns before being put down, he did not have the rock defence Sora was carrying around in his blood, but he certainly had something similar.

"Kaito's lesson was teaching his body a new experience, and while you are different than him in almost every conceivable way, I think you first lesson needs to be that very same thing."
"I want you to take a punch, but it will be drastically different than what Kaito's was. I held back, I don't think you'd want that same sympathy, would you?"

"So, Sora, are you up for this first lesson?"

Sora's grin from earlier expanded to a full laugh.
"I think I'm beginning to like your style, I'm up for a challenge, but I'll warn you, my training has been all for this" Sora would say as he resumed the Zaiken's starting position.
he could feel the power welling up, and unwillingly Sora's body did the same as an answer for the oncoming pressure. he could feel his skin harden, not like tensing your muscles, but actually harden.
as is hormones surged through his body small chakra pulses were unloading into this skin cells, activating the bloodlines natural defence, Something he would have to acknowledge the teacher for being able to trigger, simply by extruding the power behind his next attack. his skin would turn a slight darker shade, as the skin turned to rock.

"bring it" Sora rumbled now in a deeper and steady pitch, the effect of his petrification. his eyes now completely focused on the teacher as 2 pitch black "lights" in his skull anticipating the punch.

Re: Taijutsu: The Only Way to Jutsu! (Open/Class)

A satisfied smirk would pop up on the strained face of Roku. It would seem that the one before him was indeed many leagues different than Kaito. His flesh began to take on a different coloring, a darker coloring. There was no way to know for certain what all this meant, but it was pretty easy to assess that it was probably due to a strengthening of his own defenses.

Oh ho, seems that I can hit him harder than I was even expecting. Perfect.

"I am going to show you something that I haven't shown anyone before... I've been looking to hit someone with this for a long time, but I haven't found a durable enough person yet."

The hallway seemed to rumble as Roku slid into a strange fighting stance of his own, one that was only known that followed a truly reckless path (Mastered Offensive Stance). It's purpose was to give the user full access to dealing the most damage possible with no focus on defense.

"You body seem like I could go full strength and probably still not break it all that easily... however, I cannot in good conscience do that. Consider this something like 15 or 20% what I can dish out in a single punch."

There was childlike excitement within his voice. Roku's body would seem to begin to emit a slight glow as steam seemed to start to bellow from his body. His right fist would be extended outwards as he gritted his teeth, showing the full strain this was taking on his body.

"Ready..."

There would be no audible noise, but within Roku something would snap; the Fifth Gate: Gate of Limit. Coinciding with the opening of that chakra gate, chakra would seem to flood outwards from his body causing the steam to erupt and swirl violently. Sora might have been able to physically notice the point when the gate opened within Roku, but if he had no idea of the path of a Hachimon then he might not be fully aware of what he was witnessing.

"Set..."

The power continued to circulate and rumble all around the structure of the building, within the hallway. The eyes of Roku locked upon Sora like a beast ready to bounce on its prey.

"Go..."
One%20Piece%20Gif%20Luffy%20Second%20Gear%2022_zpsttmfwwwi.gif

His body would seem to flicker out of existence, blurring to almost a barely visible level until reappearing right in front of Sora. Within that same instantaneous moment, the right fist of Roku would rocket forward towards the gut of the young Yamaryuu. This would either be met with blocked arm movements, or would bypass his arms and slam directly into his gut. Unlike with Kaito, Roku would carry his weight through this punch allowing the full force to rush forward. The point of contact would make an audible pop that would be then consumed by a large thundering boom that would cause nearby glass to break. This second noise would be a testament to the punch thrown and the defense it made contact with, something just as unnaturally strong. The hallway would feel the force of the impact burst from through Sora and down the corridor tearing apart any flimsy pieces of wood that happened to be in its path until slamming into the wall at the end of the hall, creating an dent that would be vaguely in the same dimensions of the Yamaryuu warrior.

OOC:

Monstrous Strength (doubles Bull's Strength), Precision Blow (used to increase accuracy and crit of tai attack), Gate 5 (+10% to melee damage), Mastered Offensive Stance (just buffing more accuracy), Huge Power (+15% melee damage)... and so on a so forth. The Reckless Core Ability doesn't give me a real creative inspiration to liven up my role playing (Hachimon on the other hand gives me some creative freedom) but what it lacks in RP flair, it makes up with actual battle prowess. Anyways, the math isn't important I just wanted to provide a little clarity that my punch could sting a little. You are free to mod out the attack however you want, I have no issue with you blocking, moving so it hits another point or whatever you think works best with you current character! =)

Re: Taijutsu: The Only Way to Jutsu! (Open/Class)

" Ready, Set, Go"
Sora did not dare to blink, as Sora had felt the sheer power emanating from Roku. he did however actively strengthen the effect Roku had already triggered, the Rocky surface of his skin would harden and expand. his shirt was open at the top, luckily the first few buttons of his shirt was open, else he would have blown a button or two.
Had Sora not focused entirely on Roku this punch could have ended badly.
Sora was not the only one able to produce the booming power of a punch, Sora did have the utmost respect for the teacher now. although he did feel the punch connect, it connected with his rocky surface. sendings cracks all around his body.
sora could feel the remaining punch power actually making him take a step backwards, not something he had ever done, not once. but this was because of the sheer force. Sora had come to the right place. his Stony armor had met a match worthy. the entire back of sora's stone armor was blown along the corridor, fitting snugly into the imprint the power of Roku's punch had made.

Sora almost fell to his knees, he had been too confident in his armor. this had to be corrected later.

he reached out to give a handshake to Roku.

"thanks for the lesson, a lesson well learned" his voice had returned to the jumbling voice that had not yet found its right tonation, although it tended towards the deep rumbling heard before.
a bit of blood did find its way to his lips, colouring them red.
Sora smiled.

Re: Taijutsu: The Only Way to Jutsu! (Open/Class)

The big beast was able to withstand the brunt of his attack, it was a mixed set of emotions that would wash over him. First he would feel some sense of pride, it wasn't every day you happened across someone who could generate and accept as much power as this being. Second, he would feel good that he was able to break the individuals defenses, even if only slightly. The boy seemed to be designed to handle this type of battle and Roku had plenty more to give, so this outcome was acceptable for him. Third, fulfillment. Pulsing within him, yearning from his very cells, was a unquenchable thirst; bloodlust. This urge had been dormant for so long, usually in his battles he has found either people being rather squishy or he was merely a sidekick for other stronger individuals to take over and hog all the credit. This time he found a worthy prey, a formidable person to test the true limits of his strength. The bloodlust, the rage, the battle fiend that lurked within him was not going to be sated by things ending here. However, Roku knew he could not continue. At least not in anyway that would have not made him look like a monster before this new student.

"Yamaryuu Sora..."

His serious fade would instantly fade as he stretched his arm out to take Sora's, shaking the new acquaintance.

"You are one tough piece of crap, I can only imagine the training you've endured. I appreciate you letting me go a little wild."

He would release the hand of the individual and begin to make his way out of the hallway.

"Oh, feel free to find me whenever you want. You have a great foundation, but you are still an imperfect weapon. Don't go and get cocky because you could take a punch. Next time!"

He would smirk as he raised his hand up to wave to the youth. Next time things would get a bit messier if these two were able to go all out.

Sora watched as the teacher walked away, feeling satisfied that he did not tilt over. he sure felt like it, but somehow he gritted his teeth and endured. he could still feel the linger of the punch running through him.

he nodded as a reply to the wave the teacher sent off.

"one heck of a punch" he rumbled to himself. as he dusted off the remains of the Stone armor from his shoulders, the drawbacks of the ultimate defence, you always looked like you had traveled for days in the desert, he usually had, but for once he had just bought the suit. annoying. oh well another time.
he took a second look at the devastation of the hallway. and he was sure he would fit in here. if this kind of destruction was common.. he would find himself perfectly fitted for this education
a smile found way to his face, as he walked away, in his slow but heavy style.
