Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

[fontsize=40]Basic Information[/fontsize]

Character Name: Taisen Kyokusō
Nickname: Kyo
Notable Clan Memberships: Taisen, Monzaemon, Chikamatsu
Active Bloodline(s): Monzaemon and Yamanaka
Position: Sand Academy Student
Character Age: 14
Gender: Male
Height: 1m58
Kyokuso is relatively average for a 14 year-old, probably even a bit smaller than average. He has blonde hair and blue eyes, characteristics of the Chikamatsu side of his bloodline. Coming from a rich family, he wears a large formal traditional kimono, complete with floral patterns all over it. Of the floral patterns, the predominant shape is a flower with six petals, similar to that of the Chikamatsu crest, but is orange instead. There are also lines seemingly embedded into the shape, making the flower look rather artificial - like the seams of a puppet. This is actually the crest of this particular branch of the Taisen, the one formed from the union of the Monzaemon and Taisen.

Beneath the kimono/cloak is the usual shinobi gear, suitable for an academy student. He also tends to carry a carrier case, wrapped within a shroud, on his back. This case holds his puppet.
Kyokuso is generally a nice person, however his determination to succeed may lead him to put his goals before anything else. This has yet to really happen, but signs are there. Ever since he has really been able to mold chakra, he had at many times forget to even stop. This included being so engrossed in his studies that he forgets anything else - eating, sleeping, even his family. At the age of 14, the propensity to prove himself may even cause him to be a bit ruthless at times.

This made him somewhat paradoxical. This does not mean that he has split personality, just that generally he would avoid anything unnecessary, including engage in unnecessary battles and so on. He would rather have things progress placidly. However if the case does arise that he needs to prove himself in any way, he would not shy from it.
Taisen Kyokusō (also referred to by common-folk as just 'Kyokuso') was born from the interminglings of many different bloodlines, of note are the Monzaemon and Chikamatsu (ironically, Chikamatsu is the first name of some of the more legendary Monzaemons). Since ages bygone, the Monzaemon already had the concept of promoting interbreeding with other clans, to expand the genetic diversity of the Monzaemons and hence their capabilities. Oftentimes this result in the expansion of the Monzaemon clan, for unlike the Monzaemon clan, many others would rather to remain purebred. Sometimes though, other clans are just as accepting, and are willing to allow Monzaemon blood to flow through their names.

Somewhere along the way, a Monzaemon had married a Taisen - a branch clan of the Yamanaka, and thus Monzaemon and Yamanaka blood intermixed - probably not for the first time though, and definitely not for the last. The puppeteering techniques of the Monzaemon, and the affinity for Genjutsu of the Taisen never really mixed too well however, the pressure for the progeny to make something out of the combination never quite happened.

It was not until one of the descendants of this union married a Chikamatsu, that something significant might finally have been produced, in the form of Kyokuso. The Chikamatsu is a well-known clan in Sunagakure, especially for their medical affinities, and the amazing powers that their Seal of the Yurei Orchid grant to the Orchid's Overseer.

Originally, Kyokuso was born rather frail and weak - a likely product of the Chikamatsu and Taisen traits, which had both previously known to produce smaller, weaker bodies in their progeny. Although the rest of his family were shinobi, they did not have much faith that Kyokuso would amount to much. This was even when Kyokuso had tried his best to show any signs at all that he was of use. Kyokuso had studied up on all of his ancestry, tried everything - from simple puppeteering techniques, to the lowest ranked Genjutsu. Nothing worked however, not even with all the extra tutoring he was offered. The Taisen family was wealthy, with a mansion near the heart of Sunagakure, and plenty of servants to boot. So they had no problems with hiring the best of the best, but to no avail. Kyokuso was just too weak to even attempt the academy.

All this, was until he turned 12. On his birthday, Kyokuso began to transform - as if something within him awakened. Of course, it is probably apparent by now that his bloodlines had finally truly started triggering. Within two years, his body had became much less fragile - although more like to the point of his average peers, than beyond them. He had picked up on the Monzaemon's capability for puppeteering very quickly, and his Yamanaka bloodline powers were blossoming - much like an orchid. Not that he is likely to ever inherit the Seal of the Yurei Orchid, unlikely to ever become the next seer. He is not even a Chikamatsu, not by name.

Now that his abilities has started to show, and he has grown strong enough physically, Kyokuso is finally able to attend the academy. Whether or not he will develop as fast as he expects is still unknown however. While his puppeteering is impressive, his Genjutsu is still very basic, and his other skills are even more so.

One thing is of certain however - all of his various membership clans is interested in him. The Monzaemon wants to see how far he can push his puppeteering, perhaps with the aid of Genjutsu that can even further muddle his opponent’s senses. His Taisen side just wants him to prove his mastery over the Yamanaka bloodline abilities, and see if he can push its activation even faster, and further. His Chikamatsu side lastly just wants to see his new and improved self gear more towards the acquisition of knowledge, and perhaps applying it medically. After all, now that he is significantly stronger, he should be able to progress well as a Mednin - combined with his ability to intensely focus on learning.

Kyokuso sort of... worries more about how the current events will affect him. He wants to prove himself in the academy, and sees the push to migrate above ground by the Sand-nin as a clean slate for him and everyone else, allowing him to begin at the same point as others.

Yamanaka
[fontsize="12"]The Yamanaka are known as the 'Mind Clan', and for good reason; they possess a sharp mentality that not only enable them to cast powerful illusions, but also have the unique ability to project their consciousness outwards to directly manipulate the wills of others. Whether linking the minds of allies or lurking in the back of the mind of an enemy, Yamanaka thrive from the sidelines as expert spies and interrogators.

Mentalist - Passive
The Yamanaka universally seem to have a strong force of will, and are naturally adept in the arts of the mind.

Rank 1: +1 Genjutsu DC
Rank 2: +2 Genjutsu DC
Rank 3: +3 Genjutsu DC

---

Sensory Link - Activated Passive
One of the first skills a Yamanaka learns is the ability to communicate with others telepathically by sharing thoughts. Not limited to words, the Yamanaka may communicate through sharing pictures, memories, and even learn to share sensory input between themselves and others. However, this skill does strain the Yamanaka's mind the more people they link their minds with, causing migraines and blackouts if used on more than a limited number of people for anything other than brief moments. The distance a Yamanaka is able to communicate with people is roughly the size of an outdoor sport field, with them at the center.

Rank 1: The user may link the senses of themselves and a single ally.
Rank 2: The user may link the senses of themselves and two allies.
Rank 3: The user may link the senses of themselves and any amount of allies; but if linking any more than three, they suffer HP loss (illusory damage) equivalent to the CP cost of this ability

Cost: 1 Ap to activate, + .5 Ap for each target after the first. 2% Max Cp per target link, per round.

Note:
- Targets that are linked 'share' awareness of the battlefield. They will not mistakenly attack each other, and may still attack targets they are unaware of so long as at least one linked ally is aware of said target.
- May only be used on willing allies.

---

Mental Fortress - Passive
The mind is a Yamanaka's greatest weapon, and just as a swordsman might care for their blade, so too do the Yamanaka sharpen their mind. Through meditation and rigorous tasks of precise concentration, the Yamanaka have made their mental defenses near impenetrable to intrusion.

Rank 1: The user ignores the first 20 x Lvl Illusionary Damage applied to them each round.
Rank 2: The user ignores the first 25 x Lvl Illusionary Damage applied to them each round.
Rank 3: The user ignores the first 30 x Lvl Illusionary Damage applied to them each round.

Note:
- If an attack would have its damage reduced to 0 by this ability, the attack is negated entirely. If the user suffer's illusionary damage from multiple sources simultaneously, a source is chosen at random.
- Whenever this passive reduces an attack's damage, its duration is reduced by a round (if applicable).

---

Illusory Cantrip - Passive
There comes a certain point where a Yamanaka is able to layer illusions upon each other so intricately, that minor ones become near effortless to maintain, and rarely interfere with other genjutsu.

Rank 1: E-Rank Genjutsu cast by the user do not fill a Sense slot of the target.
Rank 2: E-Rank Genjutsu cast by the user do not fill a Sense slot of the target. Once per round, the user may use an E Rank Genjutsu as a free action (0 AP).
Rank 3: D-Rank Genjutsu cast by the user do not fill a Sense slot of the target. Once per round, the user may use an E/D Rank Genjutsu as a free action (0 AP).

---

Mesmerize - Dependent Special Move
The Yamanaka not only excel in mental manipulation, but also in covering their tracks. A victim of a Yamanaka find it difficult to recall memories from time spent under the influence of their illusions, leaving 'gaps' in their memory that they struggle to fill in or recognize, even brief moments after it took place.

Rank 1: By paying +15% Cp, the user may cause a single jutsu to show up as a 'Hidden' action during the round; this will only effect targets under the effects of the user's Genjutsu. May be used once per round.
Rank 2: By paying +15% Cp, the user may cause any action to show up as a 'Hidden' action during the round; this will only apply to targets under the effects of the user's Genjutsu. May be used once per round.
Rank 3: By paying +15% CP, the user may cause any action to show up as a 'Hidden' action during the round; this will only apply to targets under the effects of the user's Genjutsu. May be used twice per round.

Note:
- Rank 3 allows Mesmerize to be used twice per round. The first use works as normal, but the second usage only effects targets under the effects of at least 2 of the user's Genjutsu.
- Ranks 1 may only be used with jutsu. Ranks 2/3 may be used with any of the user's actions, including other special moves.

---

Mind Transfer - Will Genjutsu
The unique ability of the Yamanaka Clan, allowing them to project their own conscious out from the limits of their body, and attempt to enter the mentality of another living being. While excellent at reconnaissance, this skill is risky in a direct confrontation as an inaccurate transfer of the user's spirit will result in a delayed return to the user's body. And even if successful, the opponents body is still left into an unconscious state. Finally, while in another target's body, the Yamanaka's original body is subject to any damage done in their host's body. If the Yamanaka is willing to take these risks, the jutsu allows them to lurk within the mind of their target, sharing their senses, and if they so desire, take possession of their unwitting host completely.

Rank 1: Attempts to enter the opponent via Genjutsu DC. If successful, the Yamanaka's mind enters the body of the target with the victim unaware of their presence. While within, the victim loses -2 Dodge. 40% of all damage done to the target is also inflicted to the user. The user will always be aware of the target their mind resides within.
Rank 2: Attempts to enter the opponent via Genjutsu DC. If successful, the Yamanaka's mind enters the body of the target with the victim unaware of their presence. While within, the victim loses -2 Dodge. 30% of all damage done to the target is also inflicted to the user. The user can now use Mind Disturbance. The user will always be aware of the target their mind resides within.
Rank 3: Attempts to enter the opponent via Genjutsu DC. If successful, the Yamanaka's mind enters the body of the target with the victim unaware of their presence. While within, the victim loses -3 Dodge. 20% of all damage done to the target is also inflicted to the user. The user can now use Mind Possession. The user will always be aware of the target their mind resides within.

Special Action - Mind Disturbance: While within the body of the target, the user may spend up to 3 Ap to reduce their host's AP by an equal amount. Doing this alerts the victim to the presence of the Yamanaka.

Special Action - Mind Possession: For 2 Ap, the user can may reroll their Genjutsu DC against their target's Gen Save to shanghai the opponent's body. If the Yamanaka successfully takes over the victims body, several things occur, replacing the effects above:
- The host is alerted to the Yamanaka's presence, but may not perform actions until they regain control, at which point the Yamanaka's mind is forced to their own body.
- 100% of any damage the host body suffers is also dealt to the Yamanaka.
- The user takes on the target's Secondary stats, with the exception of keeping their own Genjutsu DC and Save.
- The Yamanaka may only perform their own Jutsu, not the victims. The Yamanaka may not use a Bl/CA/Kinjutsu. Jutsu used in this state use both the user's and their host's chakra.
- The Yamanaka cannot directly attack their host body.

Costs:
Rank 1: 2.5 Ap, 800 CP to initiate, 300 CP/rnd.
Rank 2: 2.5 Ap, 1000 CP to initiate, 350 CP/rnd.
Rank 3: 2.5 Ap, 1200 CP to initiate, 400 CP/rnd.

Notes:
- This does not take up a Genjutsu Sense, and cannot have it's targets increased through any effect.
- This Jutsu may not be recast for a full round once it completes, successful or otherwise.
- If the technique initially misses, user immediately spends another 2.5 Ap to return to their own body, at which point they may begin performing actions again.
- The user's body is still vulnerable to any actions targeting it, and cannot dodge during this time (it may still resist actions targeting Genjutsu save). Binding the user's Body has no affect on their Mind while Mind Transfer is active.
- The user may only perform Genjutsu and Yamanaka techniques while within a target, unless Mind Possession is used. These actions do not require handseals during this time.
- Upon a full hit, the host is unaware of the Yamanaka's presence. On a partial hit, the host is aware.
- The Yamanaka must reroll their Genjutsu DC against their target's Genjutsu Save at the start of each round the host is aware of their presence, with the host receiving a stackable +2 Gen Save bonus to dispel this jutsu until they succeed (at which point it resets), forcibly returning the Yamanaka to their own body.
- This Jutsu may be used by a Yamanaka to dispel another Yamanaka residing within them.

---

Presence Erase - Will Genjutsu
A Genjutsu that expands upon the Yamanaka's mesmerize ability, altering perception and memory to mask their presence against those around them. Often takes the form of the Yamanaka vanishing into a plume of smoke, or simulating some type of body switch technique. Unlike most Genjutsu this does not require the Yamanaka's focus on a specific target, but instead affects any who can currently perceive them.

Rank 1: This Genjutsu targets all in battle who are currently aware of the user, and places the user in Stealth against any who fail this jutsu's check. For a full round, when making stealth checks against a victim of this jutsu, the user also applies any Genjutsu DC buffs they may have, up to +2.
Rank 2: This Genjutsu targets all in battle who are currently aware of the user, and places the user in Stealth against any who fail this jutsu's check. For a full round, when making stealth checks against a victim of this jutsu, the user also applies any Genjutsu DC buffs they may have, up to +4.
Rank 3: This Genjutsu targets all in battle, and places the user in Stealth against any who fail this jutsu's check. For a full round, when making stealth checks against a victim of this jutsu, the user also applies any Genjutsu DC buffs they may have.

Cost: 1.5 Ap, 3% Max Cp

Notes:
- This does not take up a Genjutsu Sense. Cannot be used with any Sensory Moves.
- May only be used every-other round.

---

Distant Mind Sync - Non Elemental Ninjutsu
While normally a Yamanaka's telepathic abilities are limited to their immediate surroundings, with training they may hone their mind to expand on this further. By focusing on a specific individual they have personally met, the Yamanaka may perform brief exchanges of thoughts with them over large distances. The concentration required for this skill is only able to be used when their mind is at peak performance.

Rank 1-3: Functions as the Headset item, but may call in 2 people instead of 1. Cannot be used if the user's head is at the Sprained(Rank 1)/Fractured(Rank 2)/Broken(Rank 3) called shot level (or above). Out of battle, the user may 'link' their mind to a single character using the below rules. In either case, this only allows for brief communication between the two, totaling no more than 5 minutes in a 24-hour period; may only 'sync' with someone within the same country.
 • Allows the Yamanaka to view the events of a topic they are not present in through the senses of the one they 'sync' with. This target must be willing, and must be someone the Yamanaka is familiar with. The Yamanaka may not interact with anyone other than their sync partner, and only exist as a voice within said host's mind.
 • Allows the Yamanaka to transmit their own perception of a topic to the one they 'sync' with, who does not need to be present within the topic. This target must be willing, and must be someone the Yamanaka is familiar with. This target may not interact with anyone other than the Yamanaka, and only exists as a voice within the Yamanaka's mind.
Cost: 2.5 Ap, 2% Max Cp

Notes:
- May only be used once per round.
- Each rank increases the Called Shot level this jutsu may still be used at.
- Functions as the Headset item, except that the person they are calling in does not need to have a Headset item.
- The user may also be 'called in' by others without requiring a Headset item.

---

Name of the Rose - Non Elemental Ninjutsu
A secret ability of the Yamanaka clan, allowing them to convert their body into a form of their choosing created purely out of intangible glowing chakra with a halo. In this form, the user's mental capabilities are significantly increased...However, this form can only be held shortly, and the halo above their heads rapidly fades as their time shortens.

Rank 1: While active, any non-illusory damage is dealt to the user's CP pool rather than HP Pool. Genjutsu used in this form cost -10% Cp and give an additional -1 debuff. However, the user deals -15% damage with non-illusory attacks. Lasts up to two rounds.
Rank 2: While active, the user gains +5% damage reduction against any non-illusory damage, and any non-illusory damage is dealt to the user's CP pool rather than HP Pool. Genjutsu used in this form cost -10% Cp and give an additional -1 debuff. However, the user deals -15% damage with non-illusory attacks. Lasts up to two rounds.
Rank 3: While active, the user gains +10% damage reduction against any non-illusory damage, and any non-illusory damage is dealt to the user's CP pool rather than HP Pool. Genjutsu used in this form cost -20% Cp and give an additional -1 debuff. However, the user deals -10% damage with non-illusory attacks. Lasts up to three rounds.

Special Action - Blossom: For 1 Ap, the user may reduce the number of rounds remaining in their chakra form by 1, restoring 15% of their Max CP.

Cost: 2.5 AP, 1800 Cp. 800 Cp/Rnd

Notes:
- This is a Chakra Armor.
- Once dropped, requires two full rounds of cooldown.
- Chakra cannot be restored above what it originally was at the time of the techniques initiation.
- Should the user's Chakra pool go negative during this time, user reverts to their normal form, with their Hp taking the negative amount x2.
- If Mind Transfer is successful in this form, the user's chakra body merges with the target, unable to be targeted separately. If this jutsu is dropped while Mind Transfer is active, Mind Transfer is dispelled.

---

Mind Destruction - Kinetic Genjutsu
An advanced usage of their Mind Transfer jutsu, in which the Yamanaka may influence the mind and actions of a target without the need to implant their own consciousness within the target. Though the control this gives the Yamanaka over their target is weaker in comparison to Mind Transfer, this carries none of the risks associated with that technique. A skilled Yamanaka may learn to spread this effect to multiple targets, allowing them to turn their enemies against each other.

Ranks 1: Deals 400 damage to one target each round. While affected, victims have -1 Max AP and their actions have a 35% chance of being unable to choose specific targets for attacks they make. This Genjutsu has priority over any effects which would allow the victim to retain the capability to choose their targets.
Ranks 2: Deals 500 damage to two targets each round. While affected, victims have -1 Max AP and their actions have a 35% chance of being unable to choose specific targets for attacks they make. This Genjutsu has priority over any effects which would allow the victim to retain the capability to choose their targets.
Ranks 3: Deals 600 damage to three targets each round. While affected, victims have -1 Max AP and their actions have a 35% chance of being unable to choose specific targets for attacks they make. This Genjutsu has priority over any effects which would allow the victim to retain the capability to choose their targets.

Costs: 3 AP, 2400 Cp, 1200 Cp/Rnd

Notes:
- This does not take up a Genjutsu Sense. Cannot be used with any Sensory Moves.
- Requires a Genjutsu roll for every round maintained. Requires a full round of cooldown once dropped.
- If unable to choose a target, a roll is made to see who is targeted (a victim may attack themselves).
- The initial casting of this Genjutsu suppresses the target for 1 AP (only works once per round), at which point their maximum AP is lowered by 1 for the duration of this jutsu. Victims do not regain this AP the round this jutsu is dropped.[/fontsize]

[fontsize=40]NPCs[/fontsize]

Description:
Koho is relatively strict, both as a parent, and as a person in general. As a Jounin of Sunagakure, he spends a lot of time away from home, not only on missions, but also for various other reasons, such as trainings and meetings with other shinobi. He seems like he rarely ever smiles, ever. Except, with Kyokuso. It seems like Koho has a soft spot for his child's fragility. Since Kyokuso has grown older and stronger, Koho has became stricter on Kyokuso.
History:
Koho is one of the two co-owners of the Taisen mansion, situated belowground in Sunagakure. It is a relatively new mansion, built up just for this family. He and Momoka has five children, including Kyokuso. He became a Jounin relatively early on, around 14 years of age, and is known as "The Silent Knife". Koho is especially proficient in utilizing audial Genjutsu for maximal distraction. He is so proficient with audial Genjutsu that the Jutsus might as well affect all of his opponent's senses. He likes to disable them completely, before launching himself in and taking his opponents out. Even without affecting his opponent's visual sense directly, they tend to be in such a stupor that he might as well be entirely invisible in every way when he assaults his opponents. Koho is the one responsible for teaching Kyokuso the Genjutsu that Kyokuso knows.

He has never progressed further than being a Jounin, however, choosing instead to stay back. He realizes just how strict his generation has to be to the next generations, so that they can better learn their craft.
Description:
Momoka is a pretty tall lady, which is abnormal for those of the Chikamatsu bloodline. She does have blond hair and blue eyes however, which is a lot more typical, and is what is inherited by most of her children. She is kind and caring for the most part, however is not afraid to be strict when the time calls for it. She spends a lot of her time at the Omni Prime Medical Facility.
History:
A Chikamatsu descendant with the Yamanaka bloodline powers exhibited, she is a potential successor to the Orchid Overseer. However, for the most part she is disinterested, instead taking her Mednin responsibilities as her most serious devotion, after her family of course. When Kyokuso was younger, she was the one that really pushed him to read and take in knowledge, always preparing for the future. She had always envisioned for him to join the medical branch, the branch that could make use of him, even if he was frail.
Description:
Tenaga is a Chuunin, and Kyokuso's brother. He is seven years older, and currently is a Jounin, aiming to become an ANBU. Like his father before him, Tenaga loves using Genjutsu, augmented by his Yamanaka bloodline powers. He is a bit more absent compared to the rest of Kyokuso's family, spending a lot of time away on 'special training'. Like Kyokuso, he has blond hair and blue eyes.
History:
Tenaga is the firstborn of Momoka and Koho, who initially grew up a bit frail - just like his younger brother, Kyokuso. However, by the time he was five or so, he had grew out of the fragility. He continued to quickly progress as he grew older. As the firstborn, he is the one who receives the most teachings from his father. He practically spent his entire life training. Even now, as a Jounin, he would go on long training trips to bolster himself.
Description:
Kyokuso's older sister, Minami is an ANBU of Sunagakure. She takes after their father, focusing on Genjutsu as her main method of attacking and disabling opponents. She isn't as ruthless as her father, more often times resorting to the disabling side of Genjutsu to completely shut opponents down and render them useless, rather than to attack them.
History:
Minami was born three years before Kyokuso was. She was born small, but not frail. Over time however, she never did grow too much taller - capping out at 1m55. Not short, but not tall either. It however, is great for her. Learning her craft from her father, she then followed the path to become an ANBU. Being small in stature, she was adept at keeping herself hidden - a perfect trait for an ANBU.

Currently, she spends most of her time away from home - simply due to the nature of her work.
Description:
Akahashi is Kyokuso's cousin, thrice removed or something of the sorts. Four years older than Kyokuso, he was the one the Monzaemon clan sent over to help teach Kyokuso the art of puppeteering, when Kyokuso 'awakened'. He currently resides in the Taisen mansion, oftentimes seen training with Koho. Akahashi is currently a Chuunin.
History:
Akahashi was born from a prominent Monzaemon family. He grew up learning how to puppeteer from a very young age, an art that he perfected over time. He is one of the better puppeteers, one expected to be highly successful. He became a Chuunin at a relatively early age, however refrained from progressing further, opting to stay as a Chuunin so that he has more free time - time that he can use for his friends and family.

Like practically every Monzaemon, he has been given a title deed to a mansion, albeit for his age just a small one. Of course, given the limited space underground, it is only sensible. Since the migration to the surface was initiated, Akahashi had passed on his mansion to a brother of his, opting instead for a small apartment unit above ground. An unit which he does not check in all too often anyways, given that he spends more time at the Taisen mansion.
Description:
The major-domo of the Taizen household, Renzo is in charge of ensuring the mansion is never left to ruins in any way. He ensures all the servants are put to work properly, and ensure that all five of the Taizen children (including Kyokuso) are taken care of properly. He is pretty old - in his seventies, and though he has physically aged, his mental acuteness remains just as it was when he was younger. He is absolutely loyal to the Taizen household.
History:
Renzo was a butler for Kyokuso's grandfather on his mother's side. When Momoka and Koho were married and moved to their mansion, Renzo was assigned to them as their major-domo, along with twenty other staff members. Since then, he has been ever diligent with his work.

Shinobi 101, selecting Offensive Puppet Jutsu to be used with Genjutsu DC.

"You're kidding, right?" Kyokuso questioned his cousin, not quite believing what he had heard. "You can do that, with puppets?" He was very, very flabbergasted by what he just heard.

"Yeah, definitely. Shhhh though. It's our Monzaemon secret." And then Kyokuso's cousin proceeded to laugh like a maniac, leading Kyokuso to glance away and roll his eyes. He know he shouldn't be acting this way to seniors, but he could not help it when hhe's with his cousin. The guy just seemed so... chill. Were all direct members of the Monzaemon clan like that?

"Alright, so how does it work?" Kyokuso asked.

"Okay, so, the explanation is this. When performing a Jutsu, you are molding your Chakra into a specific form, allowing yourself to cast a Jutsu. Straight forward, right? The general consensus is simple - elemental Jutsu and are called Ninjutsu, because you have to mold your Chakra into something external. Taijutsu requires you to channel your Chakra through your body, enhancing your physical attacks in various ways. Genjutsu forces your Chakra through a mental attack against an opponent. Mind, body, and spirit. If it's as simple as that, you just need to change your contextual framework when casting a Jutsu. It's hard to always keep such a consideration in mind... chances are if you do this, you'll only be able to do it with one type of Jutsu. But since you are a Genjutsu user first, and Puppet Master second, it's probably not a contentious matter." Kyokuso's cousin explained.

Kyukuso stared at his cousin blankly. He was 13 for god's sake. He couldn't understand all of this!

~~~
Fast forward a year. Yes, Kyokuso understood now. When casting a Puppet Jutsu, all he had to partially assault his opponent during the attack, causing an illusionary yet real attack at the same time.
