[Description]: The most immediately-noticeable features of the woman are her reddened eyes, that seem to brighten considerably whenever she seems intrigued by something. Then comes her long, flowing black hair that reaches all the way to her lower back. Her facial features give one the impression that she is quite delicate. A small nose, chin and smooth cheeks often misguide people, after all. In fact, quite a deal of her form is delicate. She often wears very tidy clothing, ranging from thin sweaters to business suits to maintain her image as being from a rich family. Her curves are noticeable even when wearing the sweaters, but not overly so. Rarely will she wear skirts, opting for pants of varying fits dependent on the time of year and weather. And the shoes are rarely heels, just in the case she needs to dirty her hands with an uncouth irritation. First and foremost, she plays the part of a business-woman.
[Personality]: Yokina is quite an outspoken, assertive woman. She makes no effort to hide her emotion with her expression. If she is bored, you'll know. If she is annoyed, you'll know. She also makes no effort to hide the confidence that is commonplace with children of wealthy birth. It is noted in her mannerisms ranging from the refined manner in which she eats to the un-breaking stride she takes towards her destinations. But she is also willing to listen, and is far from being overly-stubborn. She will even seek to hear multiple points of view when she is making decisions. Even taking them into account in her decisions. Unless, of course, they are absolutely absurd. Calculating but not quite cold, she exhibits a unique interest in only things that benefit her empire and boost her family name into the annals of history.
[History]: Born and raised within Amegakure, the woman who is now known as Yokina was birthed into quite a wealthy family known as the Ushinatta. She was provided with a wealth of education in multiple forms. Business, medicine, musical knowledge were at her disposal by the time she came of age. Quite a deal lesser-known, though, was the training she received in the art of ninja combat. She learned mostly of Genjutsu and Taijutsu, enjoying deeply the profound joys of breaking someone's minds with a mere gaze--and then following it up by breaking their bodies with her favored bo-staff. By the age of twenty, she had matured into quite the beautiful and talented heir of the Ushinatta family. Offered by many of the minor families in Amegakure were suitors to take her hand at that time. Some, even from far-away portions of the world. None of them caught her eye as being worthy, though. None of them could hold their own with her in combat after all. Eventually, they all just stopped. Few were willing to brave a savage beating for a mere chance that would more likely end in denial than success.
Several months after her twenty-fifth birthday, her mother had become ill with a quite mysterious ailment. Her suffering was only prolonged, too, by the various doctors offering only ways to buy her more time. And despite Yokina's day-in-and-day-out efforts to help the nearby researchers formulate a cure for her sickness.. her mother passed away only three weeks after becoming afflicted. A devastating loss for both husband and child. The event caused the father--and head of the household--to become stricken with an overburdening stress and depression. Another three years pass, and with it came the passing of Yokina's father. No-one truly knows how he died, either. Perfectly healthy. No signs of a suicide attempt, poisoning or evidence of a murder ever came to the forefront either. And that left the young, 28 year old Yokina all by her lonesome. Her will was not a weak one, however. She had the ambition of taking her family's name even further than just the walls of Amegakure. It was for this reason that she relocated to Kirigakure, and set in motion the plans to set up a pharmaceutical center dedicated to the improvement of both the health and wealth of the Mist Village.
