Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Skill Obtaining: Slippery Mind - Passive (3 points)
As used to their own tricks as they are, it's very difficult to fool an Opportunist with other tricks and illusions. So, too, is it more difficult to put them under Genjutsu than the average ninja.
Effect: +2 to Genjutsu Save and awareness rolls.

Roleplay: It didn't take a special person to tell that Makeinu wasn't the type of young man blessed with much patience. Despite impulsiveness being a weakness to most, he's taken the God given personality quirk and turned it into a useful tool. By not allowing himself to be entirely controlled by his need for change, it helps him know how and when to take action when others might be left dumbfounded by the situation. Always thinking about the possibilities, his muscles practically twitch on a regular basis in expectation of some cerebral command from their owner's nervous system. While not gifted with some of the unusual powers most children in the Wind Country inherited, his personal conviction pushes him to be quick of thought and swift of action.

Roleplay: He understood fully, that in order to give himself the edge he needed he'd have to play by his own set of rules. Unable to perform significant hand seals due to his partially crippled right hand among other things, Makeinu makes up for his deficits by taking full advantage of his environment. Always with a heightened sense of perception, he's among the first to notice changes in both scenery and people. Able to remain calm and collected more than most in the darkness due to a feeling of security given by the shadows, his other senses can work at ease to make navigating the dark easier. The direction of every sound can be more accurately determined while also helping him to know just where he needs to be in order to remain unseen. Some might have thought it wasn't fair to fight like that, but then again they were also probably the same types who could spit balls of fire or walk on water. It was him or them, and refusing to become prey, he would condition his mind to that of a Stalker.

Punishment and battery at the hands of another human being or beings was something that existed in his forgotten past, and it left a brutal defensive instinct. It's an absolute miracle that he only kicked Asuza in her side with his boney shin. His movements indicate a natural inclination towards vital or extremely damaging shots, whether they be joints, appendages, limbs, or the eyes. He's not fighting for survival, he's waging a war for the glory of something greater than himself, the forgotten concept of Right.

Makeinu has now become Jin. The appropriate edits are being made to reflect this.

I am awaiting new abilities, weapons, class, and other goodies.

Neither can be disarmed due to Weapon Mastery | Unarmed. Short Sword is RP flavor only and is not reflected in moderation as an actual Weapon. Essentially both weapons are different fighting styles, for differing descriptive text. The unarmed/bludgeoning techniques is represented by his body. The Short Sword by the Inuzuka's Wolf Visage passive.

Unorthodox in his fighting style, Jin'ichi can draw and sheath his Short Sword seamlessly between hand-to-hand exchanges. With an inborn warrior's instinct, he will never lose his blade, even after losing consciousness.

The Inuzuka's blood flowing through his veins heightened his senses. Knowing where your strength cane from was a privilege, not a necessity for function. Even without ever being given an animal companion, his own feral nature was obvious. Sharper sight and hearing than most gave him an edge. A keen sense of smell kept him aware of the unseen.

When pushed to certain limits, Jin'ichi can become even more bestial. Teeth become sharper and nails harden into claw-like features. While still uncultivated, his natural agility is a factor in his repertoire. With a bag of ninja tools, he carries a few extra tricks to spice things up. Somewhat brutish but deceptively intelligent, he can be hard to fool.

While not known to be a long ranged or elemental user, his natural attunement to the Sands is hidden. His maternal ancestry had always been close with the earth, while his paternal linked with the winds. This laid an easy foundation for the Sand element to be tapped.
