On the edge of the Aurora Eruditio could be found predominantly residential districts, and those were mainly filled with shinobi families. The location no accident of course, being closer to the academy helped the practicing shinobi perform their duty of giving back to the village by taking classes with the proximity, and families meant that their children could attend class easier, as well as any after school activities like ninja ball, and assassination practices.
It was in one of the classes however where a group of shinobi were being gathered.
They weren't here for classes, to teach or be taught, it was after hours and they were mainly from a group within the Main Branch that dealt with minor threats. They were like a smaller, less well known version of the ANBU, there to perform a similar job, and frequently ended up crossing swords with the ANBU, but they existed because the ANBU couldn't keep their eyes on everything.
The leader of the group assembled was a small man, short and slender, but a powerful shinobi and one who had proven himself as a solid leader in matters such as this. He was intelligent enough, but mainly his strength had to do with making decisions quickly. His name was Keido, he was of the Saito clan and his eyes testified to his bloodline.
His pick of shinobi this day numbered five total including himself. It was a large quantity, but they were going to be taking out what they believed to be a poison manufacturing facility. Poison itself wasn't illegal for the villages use in the shinobi corps, however this group were selling to civilians, which was an illegal act. Manufacturing it without a license was also illegal, as the village kept tabs on this kind of activity as a means of stopping the abuse of the civilians. All shinobi had their poison quantities monitored by the medical branch, any changes in quantity had to be substantiated by the shinobi using them. They weren't for general consumption.
As they were dealing with poisons Keido had decided it would be prudent to bring along a shinobi of the medical branch, when he investigated who would be a good person to bring it became apparent that Junko was the name which stuck out the most often. He had been training with Akira, a personal hero of Keido's, and was well versed in combat as well as medical practices. He wouldn't slow them down, and would provide them with the knowledge they needed for Keido to make the judgement calls that needed to be made.
The team milled around silently, Junko among them, as Keido used the Snapshot jutsu to create a 3d image of the building they would be storming.
Your attention please. He said, his voice stern, demanding the attention he requested.
This building is suspected to be producing illegal poisons for public consumption on a large scale. We have found evidence leading us here, but without infiltrating it we can't know for certain. Tonight under the cover of darkness we will be performing that infiltration. Team, this is Junko, he is a Medical Chief and will be assisting us on this mission. It is his job to confirm or deny the production of poisons. He and I will infiltrate the building together through the window above the balcony. From observation it looks like it leads into a bathroom, we will then move cautiously from there into the rest of the building to investigate what is being produced.
If there is nothing and this report was incorrect we will attempt to leave without being noticed and the mission will be cancelled. If however there are poisons being produced here we will move into a full fledged assault. We will arrest all occupants, Junko and I will begin the process from the inside, there will be people who flee which is where the three of you come in. You are all to take positions on the rooftops of nearby buildings in a triangle and are to take down anyone who attempts to flee as they do so.
When I say as they do so I mean immediately as they attempt to exit the doors. I want to create a sort of panic with this action. They will have the two of us inside performing the same, so use binds which create barriers around the targets. This way others attempting to exit will potentially come back our direction. As we don't know how many are inside this will hopefully mean that more time will be bought, allowing us to capture all inside. After this has been achieved we will hand them over to the ANBU for processing as is standard procedure.
Any questions?
