Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Weapon approved. Still space for two more augments in the future — simply make a reply in the future and request to add whatever future augments you choose to the weapon.

Medic-In-Trainers
Osuteno wants to be a Med-Nin when he grows up. As such, he doesn't want to risk damaging his hands which he may need to perform life saving surgery one day. Instead he has been training himself to perform unarmed taijutsu techniques exclusively with his legs, freeing up his hands to do other things. Due to his small size his hits aren't very powerful but he makes up for it with speed. Oddly enough, the trainers are also designed to channel basic healing chakra.
Damage Type: Unarmed
Effect: May use handseals
Bonus: +2 Accuracy, -10% damage
Augments: Recovery

Chigokai Bloodline
Osuteno had always held an unhealthy obsession with blood, which had him constantly reevaluating his sanity. He drove him to want to become a healer in part to help protect people from himself. He lost himself a little when too much blood was spilled and that had only been growing stronger as he began training his chakra skills. He started hearing the blood of those around him as it moved through their veins and it drove him to the brink at times. He had no idea why it happened, why he felt such a connection. However something very strange had occurred during his latest episode. When he regained a level head he found that he held a sword he hadn’t before and when he let go of it, it melted into a pool of blood. This drove him immediately to the library to confirm the answer he had been looking for all this time. He wasn’t obsessed with blood because he was crazy, he was a Chigokai. He sat back in his chair reading what general knowledge there was concerning the Chigokai bloodline. Those weird tendencies of his made so much more sense as he read. Then he read about the most famous ability of the Chigokai. He left the library and went to his usual training grounds and focused. He performed the signs for the pressurized mist jutsu but instead of water he drew the jutsu from blood rather than water, it tired him out a little bit more but when he let it off it was certainly more powerful. It was certainly going to be useful. WC:268

Projectile Aim
Osu had been practicing his ranged taijutsu for weeks. He spent 3 hours every morning and 2 hours every evening drilling and training to perfect his aim. He made his targets more and more difficult, moving from stationary to moving targets, making the targets progressively smaller, and eventually making it to where he had to hit them while moving past as fast as he could. After about four weeks of this grueling training he was finally able to nail every target perfectly. He spent the next few days altering the course design and still managed to make every shot. He finally was getting this down. WC: 105

Bloody Mess
It was becoming more and more obvious to young Osuteno that he had an unhealthy fascination with blood. Okay it was downright psychotic at a certain point. A few things about it seemed odd to Osu though aside from it generally being the attitude of a madman. First of all he mostly desired simply to see or hear the blood leave someone’s veins not too much after that. Second he was oddly possessive over blood. Finally was the fact he had an unnatural talent for finding the veins on people and animals and knew exactly where to cut without training. WC: 100

Hyperactive.
While not a particularly loud or noticeable child, Osuteno could train for hours on end without tiring as much as he should. The fact of the matter is that Osu trained for around 10 hours every day and spent the rest relaxing while studying. He never gave himself true breaks where he did nothing besides his nightly soak in the hot springs. Even while sparring he someone pulled even more energy from nowhere and had a seemingly inexhaustible amount of energy at his disposal. Those rare moments he did get tired he would simply rest for a few minutes and be right back on his feet again ready for more. WC: 110

Healing Factor
Upon discovering his Chigokai abilities Osu gained a much better understanding of his own tendencies and what his body was capable of. It appeared he could even heal himself if he focused his energies towards it. When he stopped resisting some of his body’s natural functions he found he could even recover quickly without any special focus at all. Now that he was aware of his blood he found he was sort of a blood factory, able to just pump out more and more, it was a bit unsettling to say the least. It was useful though since apparently some of his new abilities used up quite a bit of blood. WC: 111

Quick Draw
The first Chigokai ability Osu had discovered he had, completely by accident, was that of creating objects out of blood. The practice apparently focused on creating weapons according to books he had struggled to find. His first creation had been a sword but he discovered any other weapon was just as easy to make. Realizing immediately the potential of this Osu began practicing creating weapons and switching to different ones as fast as he could. From swords to bows to hammers to guns, Osu kept practicing the switch to the point he thought was at least practical for combat use. WC:100



Also I will take Water as my free minor affinity for rank D.
 
Bloodlines are requested in Cloud Request, not your dojo.

Since the rest of your abilities seem to stem from having that bloodline, I'll wait on approving those until you get Chigokai approved.
 
Now that the bloodline thing is sorted out I will just be putting my bloodline and custom class up here to keep them easy for me to find and getting my abilities and weapon updates approved.

Free Advanced Element Blood from Chigokai Bloodline

RP for Vapor Advanced Element
Osu sat calmly in the hot springs as he always did after a long session of training. Osu was not one to be full of himself, but as of late he had been learning a good number of difficult jutsu at a very quick rate and he felt accomplished for his efforts. He had an excellent control over his water jutsu in particular and had even begun learning a few of the clan blood jutsu, which was particularity exciting. He was bothered that when he did use them though he started slipping into that odd dominate and confident mood when he would say and do all sorts of embarrassing things. He sank his head under the water briefly just thinking about it. When he brought his head back up above the water he looked around seeing he was the only one there. He only came to the men's side when he was alone so he wouldn't be teased but he also noticed very few men came here instead of the mixed baths for some reason. He looked through the familiar thick steam raising up from the water. It was then that Osu had a novel idea. Thinking back to his training of standing on the water and channeled water chakra into his left hand, out of habit mostly since it was his dominate hand... Oddly though the steam seemed to simply become liquid again as he touched it in this way, which was not what he was hoping for. He actually got a bit annoyed with the steam which he quickly realized was silly. He studied the steam for some time longer until it was obvious what he was missing, heat. Osu thought for a moment and he knew that typically after getting proficient with one element shinobi usually discovered another that they had some aptitude with. There was chance that just maybe he was good with fire, it would not hurt to give it a try at least. So Osu sat there, calmly with his eyes shut, and gathered fire chakra into his right hand. He had very little experience with fire chakra so he was surprised when it came easily enough. It was then that his clasped his hands together and steam erupted from him. The amount of it had shocked him and caused him to jump backwards expecting it to scald him but it didn't, he was fine. And so he did what any other nine-year-old would do when he discovered he could move, shape, and control steam... He made pictures and rough, snowman-like figures out of it. It was not long before someone came over to check up on the abnormal amount of steam rising from the men's side but discovered it was too thick for anyone to see a foot in front of them... except for little Osu who had made himself an empty bubble right in the middle of it all where he was playing house with his little steam people.

Applying for Human Anatomy WC: 155
Books, countless medical texts were scattered across Osuteno’s normally spotless bedroom. The walls of his very regal bedroom were now covered in a good three dozen illustrations of the human body where he marked and named every bone, organ, major artery, chakra point, acupuncture point, details of the autonomic and peripheral nervous systems and many over details. From a rather more specialized text he had marked every fatal area of the human body on yet another diagram. It was all from memory after weeks of studying and trying this exercise over and over again until he finally did it all in one go. In the middle of a pile of texts Osu had fallen asleep trying to puzzle out exactly what the sex organs were about from a clinical perspective. The maids quickly hid that particular text away when they entered his room to tuck the nine-year-old in his bed and neaten up the room.

There is a slight mistake. 50+55 = 105-10 = 95
95 would mean all of your stats would be average. Either switch your stats to that, or lower one of your modifiers by 5 please.

(Also, it's Genjutsu DC and Melee Accuracy...not a big deal, but that's the only other thing that looked weird)

Third order of business is that I am scrapping my both my weapons to free up the augments. I will have no weapons.

Final order of business is my rp for unlocking Shadow.
On a nice snowy afternoon Uso was walking back from a relaxing trip to the hot springs using her appearance while Osu was studying in her library. Lately she had been growing bored of watching Osu’s constant bad luck, something she hadn’t originally thought possible, and bartered for a three days in control including the sleeping bits. In the library she didn’t need to rest (which turns out to be a hell of its own, so the first night had mostly been pleasant, had her first real dreams. They had mostly been bland fluffy things, pleasant but nothing really exciting. There was one really fun one though where she sat where that obnoxious snake of a Clan Head sat and had Ookami washing her feet talking about her brilliance while the rest were wrestling in honey to amuse her for some reason. It was probably because she was craving something sweet. However the dreams that night ended rather dreadfully. She saw the man from horrid vision again with the lake of the dead clawing for new victims as he thrust her head under to drown with the nightmarish figures, his eyes undoing the very fabric of her sanity. Thus Uso learned the meaning of waking up in a cold sweat.

Because feeling helpless was among the most infuriating things in this world, and others it seemed, Uso thought she would take a hand at training herself as hopefully destroying a section of a forest would relieve some stress. It didn’t though. No matter how many trees she tore down she was still pissed. And jumping at shadows every time a bird took flight or something swayed too much. Shadows reminded her of that man, how there was nothing but paleness and shadows to him. He was simply a phantom of her imagination but she still saw him everywhere after that dream, that nightmare. As she looked down into a pond she couldn’t help but imagine his face as she looked down at her reflection. More shadows moved behind her… No not a shadow… She rolled out of the way as a Kumogakuren Black Bear came down on where she had been just moments before in an attempt to catch some lunch. She almost felt sorry for it.

In short order she was hiding in the trees as the bear started looking around for her, the silly creature. Despite its size it would die as easily as any of the trees, so why not play with it a little? She gathered fire and water chakra into her hands but stopped when she noticed that she more easily drew upon fire than she did water. That was surprising. She had intended to use a vapor technique but now she realized that maybe… maybe she had different talents than Osuteno… Of course she did, she was a different person! She thought that to herself with a confident tone but it honestly was more relief than anything. Still… what in the world was she supposed to do with this then?

The fact of the matter was that she didn’t know any fire jutsu much less what in the world this would do… So she tried anyway, gambling that it wasn’t explosion or anything. She channeled and… nothing appeared to be happening. No the chakra felt like it was being used but she had no idea on what. She stopped and gave it another shot… Nothing as far as she could tell was happening. Down below the bear was starting to get her scent and slowly started heading towards her tree, but there was no need to hurry and could just hop a tree or two over if discovered.

Back to her immediate concern was that apparently whatever it was she was doing was apparently a more subtle element though that didn’t really help her in the slightest. Really water and fire making vapor made sense, but what the hell was the flip side there? Nothing that came to mind made any sense from her perceptive but it apparently did something.

A good twenty minutes later the bear was napping three trees over while she was still trying to figure out what was happening when she channeled this combination. Hell at this point she was starting to think it did nothing useful and she was an idiot for trying. Once more while straining she thought she saw a shadow move and nearly jumped out of the tree. Damn that nightmare and making her jump at her own…

Her shadow was standing there staring at her expectantly. Not against the tree or anything like it should, but actually standing there as a rough all dark copy of her features. She shrieked and fell out of the tree from surprise only for her shadow to grab her leg and have her dangling there.

Well.

Hmm.

It appeared that the shadowy figure was her own creation rather than phantasm of her own nightmares reaching into the physical plain to drag her back into the grasp of the monochrome man that haunted her existence. Lovely. Now to get back up before someone spotted her with her dress exposing her like this.

While her shadow pulled her back up she noticed the bear was awake and staring in her direction. Great now she could test… She stared at her flimsy looking shadow. There was no way this could be used to fight a bear… Just to confirm she sent the thing over to the bear and watched her shadow get the hell torn out of it for a bit.

Two minutes later she had stepped in and killed the bear with good ol’ reliable blood magic and looked at her shadow in disappointment now that it was back at her feet. She didn’t really enjoy the idea of it but there was one person she knew that could help her with this. Their cousin Junichi was Nara blooded after all, but she knew asking him for anything would end up costing them usually more than it was worth. Unfortunately she couldn’t think of anyone else to seek assistance from.

About a half hour later she had dropped the transformation of her face and was using the body’s original and was outside Junichi's room. Last time they were here it was to assist him in filing paperwork and information for several days. She knocked using Osu’s slightly larger hand and waited. After a few moments Junichi and his stupid grin popped out.

“Oh little rabbit, what brings you willingly to my door? Come on in, the maids will probably bring us some tea if they saw you come in.”

“Junichi… I can use shadow jutsu… could you teach me how to do them properly?”

Junichi paused briefly before his grin reminded her of a price tag.

“But of course little cousin! Shadow jutsu eh? Oh you and I are going to have some fun little rabbit.”

And thus, after bargaining with Osu for more time, Uso set on to the most obnoxious week off her life under “Junichi-Sensei’s” tutelage. Before the first day was even up Uso decided something. One day she was going to hurt this guy really badly. Really, really badly.
